ANyway lets concentrate on cricket, great delivery by gul, thats cheered me up a bit :D
 
These Kiwi commentators are unbearable. One of them (I think Martin Crowe) basically insinuated that Ajmal is a chucker. "Yup - 14.5 degrees bend right there."
 
I'm going to get some sleep, the time is 02.00 over her. See you at 05.00 for the last session, hopefully NZ are allout for under 400 by then and Pakistan are batting :)
 
that was a ripper of a delivery by Gul! I must say a it was a beautiful yorker!!

couldn't agree more. I have turned off the volume.
 
Beauty of a yorker from Gul cleans up McCullum.

Now Vettori and Bond to get.
 
If PCB had any spine, the tour manager would be knocking on NZ TV's door and demanding that Martin Crowe retract his insinuations!

If the law says 15 degrees - then 14.99999 degrees is LEGAL!

Congrats U.Gul on his 100 well played. This is bad bowling from Pakistan, NZ should have never scored this much, Pak has let em off the hook..

That's lunch. Temporary relief for Pakistan but it's been NZ's session all the way.

An odd choice of word unless they know that similar resistance will continue after lunch.

Pak bowlers have actually bowled quite decently. It is the ball catchers who have let them down particularly Farhat. The pitch hasn't helped much either.
 
I hope Pakistan bat well and wipe that smirk off New zeland face but folks look at our batting maximum we can get from Khurram, Iman and Malik is like 15 to 20 runs each
 
Yousef is the worst man to captain a side!!!!!
He still didn't use malik, farhat and fadu....sometime these part timers can turn the game for you.
 
So frustrating. I made tea at four in the morning and came to watch the match and it turned out I had no internet or TV.

It's finally here. have to watch the highlights. can't wait to watch the yorker, but it's no fun when you're already expecting something brilliant

There was plenty of loose bowling between good spells, never seemed like the bowlers would clamp down on scoring, always had one or two loose ones in a over or two. Also, they let the batsmen off the hook by not bowling bouncers after the first hour.
 
Ajmal got some ridiculous turn out there. Good thing that Vettori can't turn the ball :saqi

Its a pretty flat track bro, tbh I think we've bowled extremely well overall.

Where were you in February?
 
Not going too well at the moment. Was a great ball from Gul to end the session, but NZ are in the boxing seat. With our batting though, anything is possible.
 
That was a brilliant yorker from Gul.

He could have bowled early in his spell.

Pakistan have been flat so far. Too much loose balls that have been hit for a boundary.

I agree completely. If we can see off the new ball, we can definitely get ourselves a lead (assuming we apply ourselves well)

Top three will be key. If Fawad, Manzoor and Farhat can provide some form of platform we'll do ok.

Though you're wrong about the sideways movement. Theres hardly any.

don't let them get 400 - our batters will have a mental breakdown before reaching the crease - permitting they dont run/time themselves out

Looking at SriLanka's match. They bowled 90 overs and used six bowlers with Dilshan getting a few.

Honestly it amazes me. Simple stuff like this, they can't get right. These Pakistani players are clueless.
 
it was worth keeping YK as kaptaan, likewise Misbah should coome in as specialist slip . . all we need now is a runner that can bat

YK don't want to play - Misbah has had many calls here to be dropped. Too late now. As for runner MoYo can still cause a runout and Butt will not be missed
 
Looking at how Ajmal has bowled - what was the harm in trying out Fawad or Malik

This is exactly why moyo was not even the vice captain, even though he is the most experienced player in the team.
 
Come on rain .. poor down.

No chance of winning this match .. best hope is we escape with a draw and regroup for the next Test.
