I don't agree with this 1 run every 5 over tactic. It takes our overs but it doesn't get us any runs. Batting is about staying in and scoring runs, not just staying in. If we lose a couple of quick wickets we get bundled out and only score 5 more runs. If we push the ball around a bit, we get 20 more runs. Could be the difference.

The FIFA tests (for U17 football world cup) use MRI Scans. I imagine (though don't know for 100% certain) that ICC also use MRIs and not X-Rays.

You aren't yet in trouble. You have a good bowling attack to defend anything close to 200. Add to that, your innings ain't over yet.
