I am a bit disappointed by the wicket TBH. I still remember last year when Panesar and Swann were bowling Day 1 in the Abu Dhabi test. Panesar was getting some real rip and turn away from the right handers. If this wicket does not start turning after about lunch on Day 3 then I am afraid that Pakistan will just be playing for a draw at best.

Agreed. I don't want to be jumping to conclusions but until Pakistan get this 'no International Cricket in Pakistan' dilemma solved then until then the jump from first-class cricket to International cricket will be too daunting for any young Pakistani players.

The Pakistan A match in Lahore was a good idea though. We actually got to see if some players were over hyped.
