Lol why bother tiring out Steyn and co in this heat? Bat as long as you can. If possible even until the end of day 3 or 1st session of day 4. The pitch will take more turn and Tahir will look like Warne then. Boost career stats of both batsmen and bowlers :D

SA in a great position now. They should really go hammer and tongs @ 5 rpo for another 12-13 overs and then declare an hour after tea. That will give them a 300 run lead.

We had the perfect chance to win a test series against South Africa but no,we messed up as usual.
 
Smith should go for a double and then a triple and declare not out. His average would soar above 50 then.
 
There is absolutely no need for SA to force anything here. SA should simply bat for long time and get a lead of 400-450. So much time left in this game that there is absolutely nothing to be gained by declaring quickly.

The only thing pathetic here is trolls like you. Nobody asked Pakistan to use up their reviews in the first half hour. And we had bad decisions go against us in the last match too, but there was no moaning taking place. Sometimes you just accept that these things happen as part of the game, if you believe otherwise then you are not a true fan. What was within Pakistan's control is the ability to take a catch. Akmal and Manzoor both had chances to take a catch.

SA have played better cricket here. I don't think anyone is contesting that.

this is the difference. you keep silent even when you see there is discrimination going on. I voice up. these umpires are joke. how on earth they miss it considering they are professionals and get thousands of $ for this.... irresponsibility.

DRS is meant to help in situations like this, but Misbah used them both up within an hour by wasting it on edges that never were. Whose fault is that?

Only 1 decision went against Pakistan. Wouldn't call that taking sides.

I would consider it a honest mistake that can happen from anyone....Pakistan have no one to blame but their batsman and negative mindset to prepare this wicket... they didnt even had enough confidence on there batsman's to prepare a spinning track but went for ultimate road just to draw this test and this fired back strongly on them and this is very good thing.

Top post. Pak were falling into a negative mindset. When Whatmore said 1-0 is as good as 2-0, i knew PAK were gonna be complacent. You don't go easy on a team like the Saffas. Once you have them on the backfoot, make sure they stay there.
 
Saffers using their reviews wisely. Poor decision overturned. Pakistan seems to have run out of luck completely.

I agree... when i read that comment i also thought that we are going on a defensive mindset. Defensive mindset with complacency is a very very wrong combination.
 
Ok am now convinced and support BCCI, get rid of DRS how did it miss by such big margin, DRS main punga hai
 
This si just day 2... they have all the time in the world. i say bat tomorrow and make us play the last 2 days. Play for records and 300,s

I think duo of Misbah and Whatmore is really very very defensive (and trust me I am not against any of them). Imran Khan said once that there is only one way to be a top team and that is to go for the win every time and draws are then part of the game.

That is your opinion and you can live with it for me he was a exceptional captain and one with really positive mindset and always trying to go for the win... and we dont consider anyone God here apart from the one God (this is not india) this is pakpassion.
 
But your batsmen get bowled under 100 7 times in 4 years in Tests. That is worse.

Pakistan has won more tests in England against England that you can even dream about :P we have better win/loss ratio compare to you. Just think this through 4 a minute, compare size, economy, playing opportunities, playin conditions between Pak & India. We still better heck we beat in ODI series in your own backyard, now that should be embarrassing for you :P

And Pakistan must have won the ICC tournaments in 2011 and 2013. Wait again..

What is really getting me is lack of yorkers... you are already going for runs might as well target the base of stumps. What happened to this art?
