Oh my gawd look at Shoib, he looks so wrecked & tired out there. Man this is sad watching him limp his way to the crease. I think its time for him to call it a day he is just not fit enuff to play anymore..
 
Painful stuff this and the Aussies showing us that at the start of an innings how important it is to go for your shots.
 
Good start from Australia. Last five overs more than 8 runs per over.
 
At last a wicket, but the Auusies have got the start they wanted.

This is a completely different pitch. Even the Aussies struggled on the other pitches where 200 was a par score. Not on this one.
 
Something is not right here.I am not getting positive vibes on field today I always back pak team esp YK but today I think its only fair to question him and mr asaare qadima(inti) on team selection and lack of home work from fast bowlers.I have not seen one shot and wide ball from aussie quicks this series but we put em on a plate do these guys have team meetings where they plane things.

ppl are going through the motions what is it that this team is performing this bad?
1 is it IPL and realization they are not part of ,mega money mela?
2 They want younus to fail or they dont care now that think are safe in the team.
 
Im just curious, ever since Younus Khan has become captain, why has he stopped fielding in the slips. Not sure who is with Misbah today but i think i saw Ahmed Shehzad there last game. Ponting still fields there, so do Graeme Smith, Gayle and Strauss i think.

bro, he is 100% right. Getting a wicket doesn't prove anything. A player doesn't have to prove his fitness by just bowling. Akhtar is labering right now.
 
I think Younus Khan has 'lost' the dressing room. Familiar way of getting rid of a captain. The body language is familiar.

I like watson I know ppl dont like him here but I always liked him you can tell he wants to do well as his hard to get a place in this aus team and you got to play hard cricket or you will be history.

Arafat should have never been picked to bowl on this pitch.

so you are saying its the right decision to include Akhtar? Salman butt can take a wicket. my point is he is not match fit. he should've been rested.

so they should kick Gul from the team cuz Watson hit him a six? oh btw watso just hit a 4 to Ajmal. now they should kick him out as well?

Sure he got a wicket, I am watching this game live and if you look at Shoibs face he looks so out of it, he seems to be in horrible agony when he is running.

which part of pakistan? do you have any idea how big pakistan is?

Akhtar has been best seamer so far.

Even supposedly half-fit and made to bowl most overs of the seamers he has been the best in wicket taking and economy.

It gets really hot in pakistan as well. i have seen 50C the most in summer.

Performance is what matters and Akhtar did better than Gul and Arafat today, so far. He also bowled 5 overs in a row.
 
86 for 2 from 16 overs.

Aussies on top, but a couple of quick wickets and Pak will be back in it.

Dubai looks like one heck of a hot place from looking at Akhtar's face, I was just curious about the temperatures in Pak in general ...

so you are saying that Akthar is a match fit? How many runs he saved in the last match? how many runs he has saved so far? is he still fielding out there? Bowling better doesn't earn you a place in the team.
