tauseefm said:so you are saying that Akthar is a match fit? How many runs he saved in the last match? how many runs he has saved so far? is he still fielding out there? Bowling better doesn't earn you a place in the team.
Sparhawk said:He should get fitter but this isnt about his fielding its his bowling.. you cant win a match with a team full of fielders
tauseefm said:how about play some player on wheel chair who can bat and bowl? If this type of thinking we would have then god bless our team.
Sparhawk said:This is a good pitch for batting so run rate of 5 isnt too bad.. i think if we can keep them down to 270 we have a chance

Clarke learning Tendulkar tricks now.qaiser said:clarke cheated and fooled billy by showing his bat which was nowhere near
Absolutely - hate it when players do that. In football they get yellow cards for it, in cricket there should be some sort of punishment for it too.Momo said:Clarke learning Tendulkar tricks now.

Yes, there should definitely be punishment for trying to interfere with the umpire's decision.Saj said:Absolutely - hate it when players do that. In football they get yellow cards for it, in cricket there should be some sort of punishment for it too.
WILL NEVER BE IMPLEMENTED BY ICC SINCE TENDU DRAVID GHAMBIR AND YUVI HAS THIS HABITMomo said:Yes, there should definitely be punishment for trying to interfere with the umpire's decision.
For the moment though justice done, as Clarke has gone.
srh said:just wake up and saw that Fawad still did not get a game. So he is the only team member who did not get a chance to play. A very despised attitude from the team management. I would say rot in hell.
On a second thought, if a bowler and fielders can dance and impose their view on umpire to get the decision on their way, why can't the batsman try to get something on his way.Momo said:Yes, there should definitely be punishment for trying to interfere with the umpire's decision.

I'm afraid you are right.qaiser said:WILL NEVER BE IMPLEMENTED BY ICC SINCE TENDU DRAVID GHAMBIR AND YUVI HAS THIS HABIT

Final decision is umpires.
He is a footballer plays for arsenal. In yesterdays game against portsmouth ref gave them a penalty when it should have been a corner he clearly indicates to ref that it was not a pen and points to corner.now thats a first for me.qaiser said:who is arshavin and what happened
That's the trouble. the final decision is umpire's and we know they get affected by reputations.Garuda said:On a second thought, if a bowler and fielders can dance and impose their view on umpire to get the decision on their way, why can't the batsman try to get something on his way.

I have no problems in penalizing overly aggressive appeals as well. However, there is a difference between bowlers/fielders appealing (even if they know it's not out) and a batsman participating in the process. A batsman has no business in this affair and should keep out of it, whereas the fielding side is supposed to appeal as per laws.
Its nothing Indian or Australian.qaiser said:Very well said
so the final say is that bowlers appeal by law whereas batsmen have no justification of doing what Indians and Australians do
but again ICC would not implement it so don't worry Indian friends
