Ajmal on against probably englands best to players of spin. Should be interesting!

on DRINKS: 68-2. Pietersen orders a mint julep, Bell downs a flagon of mead in one megaglug. He looks focused.

The commentary isnt descriptive. It just says the number of runs scored on the ball. It can be automated easily with the updating score.

16.1 Wahab Riaz to Pietersen,no run,
End of over 16
KP Pietersen 40(45) Saeed Ajmal 1-0-5-0
IR Bell 17(22) Wahab Riaz 2-1-6-0

They aren't doing the same on the website so it really mustn't be that easy. :p

it is so pathetic, at least we deserved a ball by ball commentary, seems like the loggerheads at cricinfo hub might be too hung over by last nights party that they actually forgot to show up for the ball by ball commentary.

16.4 Wahab Riaz to Bell,1 run,
16.3 Wahab Riaz to Pietersen,1 run,
16.2 Wahab Riaz to Pietersen,no run,

they are not doing it because it simply doesnt add any value. Commentary is fun when its descriptive. If it just states the runs scored / ball what use it is.

anyway England is 78/2 in 17 overs with Wahab and Ajmal carrying out the proceedings.

Commentary is fun when it is descriptive - agreed; but the ball by ball score would have been better than just the scorecard that's available on the website.

It works on the m.espncricinfo.com site like someone said. You can check the ball by ball score there

Yeah, seen that.

They might as well have it up on the regular site. Not every one is going to be able to figure out the mobile site.

The momentum is with England now. only two down and 82 on the board with KP and Bell at the crease.

We need to get rid of these two quickly and a collapse may follow after that.

in other news MS DHONI's exclusive charity dinner in July at Hilton Park Lane, London. For more info on sponsorship and table sales

KP moves to a 55-ball 50 with a towering six over long-on off Saeed Ajmal's off-spin. England 93-2 in the 20th. This is more like it...

bowl Rehman and Ajmal in tandem.. we'll know effectiveness of each of them in middle orders..
we need a wicket taking option in the middle overs..

good to see all our seamers keeping it tight today.. wickets are the real deal though..

There's commentary on Cricinfo's iPhone App, not detailed, but whether a ball is dot, runs, four, six or out....
