Slightly disappointing effort regardless of the fact that Afridi and Razzaq aren't batting. I wouldn't want those 2 coming in with 100 runs still needed at nearly 9 an over. The top order needs to do better.
 
Three wickets for Colly as Abdur Rehman is caught and bowled for 5: Pakistan 181-7
 
Positives: Junaid Khan, Younis Khan, Saeed Ajmal

Negatives: Akhtar, wrong batting order, no Afridi and razzaq.

Easy to wipe out the negatives.
 
Pakistan is the only team who will bring out of form players into form like collingwood today scored 65 & now have taken 3 wickets.
 
Rehman's out, c&b Collingwood, for an entirely unhelpful 5 off 10.
 
The only thing Pakistan should have gained form this warm-up was a finalized batting line up, or rather an opening pair and I'm afraid they haven't done so. Kamran has looked terrible at 1 down and if they ask him to open, Hafeez will have to shift down.
 
That innings was not what the doctor ordered. In fact, it's what the doctor specifically advised against. Pakistan need a defibrillator now
 
Younus not hitting and putting pressure on abdur rehman is probably what happened.

Terrible batting order but it was very clear they wanted to let everyone have a go before the games that matter begin. So chill.

If kamran was sent to open, I'm surprised Ahmed Shehzad wasn't opening and hafeez at 3. The one thing we know for sure really is that Shehzad will be opening.
 
Lols, people hate Broad, but he seems to be unplayable today. What a reply from him.
 
Four for Broad as Younus slashes a wide one to Prior to depart for 80. The end is nigh for Pakistan.

hope England finally see that Collingwood as even a bowler offers more than Yardy does and don't play Yardy.
 
Younis gone, 80 off 101, strike rate of 80. Absolutley nothing wrong with that innings, doing precisely what his role in the team is.
 
Even Banlgadesh batted better under lights the other day.
 
Unfortunate series of event this, expect a lot more high scoring chases, cant believe PC got 3 wickets and damn it Barbie must've distracted the boyz otherwise no way can he pick up wickets ;-)

Kamran opening with Shehzad, with Hafeez coming 1 down would be the ideal situation. Hafeez is a much better singles accumulator than Kamran and can build the innings. However, I believe the management will stick with the line-up that was for the BD warm up and waste Kamran at 1 down.
 
187-8 with 9.2 to go. Broad has 4-25. Can Wahab Riaz and Saeed Ajmal hammer the 10 per over required?
 
In any case this just a warm up, boyz will be pumped up for actual event, hopefully wont have to see anymore collapse this tournament.

A strike rate of 80 is very decent for a player coming 1 down. If someone was there to support him with Afridi and Razzak lower down the order; we could've made it
 
Junaid Khan had a good confidence building game. exactly what a youngster needs. Ajmal proved that he's not a man for the bench with a good performance and younus got into form at the right time.. akhtar had a good opening spell, so dont hate.. gul and riaz will probably handle the death overs when the actual cup comes.

one thing though.. that is very very clear. Kamran has to play at a much later stage.. like 6 or 7.. his type of batting would be suited to the powerplay situation.. and umar akmal should play at 3.. give him a chance to build his innings.. we mightve pretty much lost the match.. and given wickets to stuart broad.. who on an article on the sun claimed they were giving us the silent treatment..

Lols Canada restricted this England side to 240+ runs the other day and then they come very close while chasing and look at our overhyped players. Cant bowl, cant bat.

Just way to inconsistent in the performances.
