Bummer! 20:20 hangover continues and Lawson/Malik have to work thier socks off to make this into a formidable test playing unit. What I cannot see is where is the mental toughness going to come from?

2 pacer, 2 spinner strategy was never going to work. You were always going to win the first test with the likes of faisal iqbal playing

And guys let me re-iterate: It's our batting that is going to cost us a series loss not our bowling - when your team cannot score 300 in 3 innings so far you you should seriously think about playing test cricket!

Going in with 2 pacers was a joke of a strategy from the very start. Someone needs to tell Malik & Lawson that we are not India playing in the 70's. To a certain degree the selection commitee is also to blame for picking Rao, which could be a reason why Pak are playing only 2 pacers b/c they know Rao is no where near test bowler unless the pitch has grass on it. Sami or some other faster bowler could have come in handy. Not having Afridi has hurt Pakistan b/c they have been forced to play 2 pin since Malik & hafeez are no where near test standard as bolwers

never defending that either & nor can it be defended even if i wanted to! What i am trying to say is that we played poor cricket all togeather. Both the batting & the bowling failed. Its not like we bowled like champions or batted like champions, we failed in both!

Lead is already to 210 which is more than what we could muster in the first innings. With regards to pace always being our main strength, I think it's time to move away from our mentality. We don't have the 2 Ws anymore and if you look at the Aussie example they excel in both departments which is why they are on top. The batting has always been taken too easily and it's about time we rectify this and set a template for the furure.
