Shoaib Malik has the flu and fever, and Afridi has been dropped due to bad batting form. Also has been dropped for Yousuf, but its mostly because Yousuf needed room.

Maybe it will be a surprise delivery, like how Akhtar bowled the slower ball vs England. He bowled it very rarely, and it got him wickets almost every time he bowled it, like one slower ball in 5 or 10 overs. Maybe this is what Kaneria is trying to accomplish.

I agree it should be a surprise delivery but atleast throw it up there once in 6 overs to let the batsmen know it exists. Why wait for the batsmen to get settled to unleash it?
