Junaid will take a match winnng 5 fer here.. there is swing in the air and some movememt off thw deck.

Some serious reverse swing !

Can our world class fast bowlers get even half of that swing?

Easily Pak should have had a lead of 180-190 right now if the mentality was positive.

No no the Misbah selfish career stat boosting approach is always correct even if it comes at the expense of the team.

I think SL deserves to win unless our bowlers pull out miraculous performance.

Truly our top 3 have cost us this test. Worse than our tail.

Stage is Set for Junaid and Co to Destory SL

137 is Fighting Total

Junaid Need to take 5 Wicket Haul here :)

3 Early Wicket,s plez :)

137 to win. Imagine Misbah making atleast 15 runs in the first hour yesterday. You can back Misbah all you want. The loss will be on him. The draw mentality cannot start in the 2nd session of the 3rd day. Sorry to say.

chalo match khatam but Pakistan should try to get early wickets anything can happen

Misbahs batting primarily and the fact posters were chearing him on when he didn't score anything for an hour and defended him that he is playing correctly in accordance with the weather forecast.
That are fans you are talking about and they cheered hin because they are his fans.. this doesnt make it the fact that the team was banking on rain. Without misbahs contribution the match would be over long ago.

Poor 1st inning batting cost us this match likely !! Sharjah could be a road and so this could mean losing to SL in UAE 1-0

Whatmore be gone! Mediocre players be gone!

You are stuck in a blackhole regarding Misbah. Get out of and notice that there were a few other top order batsmen who did not even make double figures. How about being more balanced in your approach rather than repeating the same thing about the highest scorer of the innings a guy who came at 20/3. Had he made a quick 30 and then got out, this match would have been over yesterday.

That is reverse swing, our bowlers wont have enough time to get reverse swing going, and they are crap at conventional swing

Why else did Misbah not score for an hour as usual? I will go with the experts who said that had he played with a more positive approach the lead would have been much larger.

people who started saying match over, lost, etc, please post in some other forum.

you may not have seen u19 wc final, or hamilton test, or abu dhabi test vs england.

we have done it in the past, anything is possible. swing is there.

first 15 overs and 0 wickets or 3 wickets will decide how match is going.

So it is not possible to score at a decent pace without getting out? This guy only plays for his stats and could care less for the team. Stop making excuses for him.

Was always going to be hard to win after that first innings horrendous show !

Experts say a thousand things and many conradicting each other... thats how misbah plays. Banking on rain hasnt been proved a fact yet.

I don't think anyone was asking for Misbah to score at 4 runs an over. Just a positive approach would have been better. He was batting with batsmen, it was not like he was batting with Ajmal and the tail enders.

Khurram and Hafeez should leave test cricket , Asad should take break
Fawad needed badly

Shame puppy Shame ! Giving away 4 wickets to Ishant Lakmal :55:

Sums up the poor batting effort apart from the :yk :misbah really

We are down to 3 bowlers only and now Ajmal is hobbled as well. Lets be realistic here. Sri Lanka is well on top and on their way to win unless rain intervenes!

If all batsmen in the team play for the stats we would win most of the test matches.

A positive approach is blasphemy with Misbah. His main goal is always his slow useless 50 and his useless average of 48 which has done nothing useful for Pakistan.

Bhatti's unlucky dismissal was not good for Pakistan , he and Sarfraz would have scored much more

England couldn't score 140 2 years ago but the pitch was turning square

No, it wasn't. Looks like some English fans still don't realize that the demons were in the head, not the pitch.

Same field setting as England match in Abu Dabi and same opening bowler Professor, good stuff from Misbah. Unfortunately no Mano today to apply the choke hold alongside Professor & Ajmal. Need 2-3 wickets immediately.

if cricket had allowed substitutes

we are on target for win:

Sri Lanka RR 0.35
Min overs remaining 77.1

sl playing for draw and hoping for rain to save them from our bowling
