Pakistan Vs Srilanka First Odi

WIY, isn't the pitch dead? or is there life in it? im not watching so i don't really know..i guess the better option between gul and rao all depends on the response of the pitch..

A decent job done by YK and Razzaq today....otherwise it could have been much worse

taha im at work! using hospital computer to keep in touch (and they say nhs resources are wasted! LOL) - but there seemed to be some life early on for maharoof with some nice incutters ala gul's forte. Anyway the decision was made and im 100% behind rao
 
Younis Khan 41 off 46!!! that certainly isn't slow, especially looking at how the other batsmen played!

yeah same here WIY, im just scared of seeing runs coming in heaps at the start of the lankan innings, lol..each run makes the heart sink more and more in these low scoring matches

i know what u mean! hope there arent too many 4 balls bowled first up when the ball is in optimum shape/conditions
 
For the people that are watching this is the wicket really that hard to bat on ?? or
did players like Butt really waste too many balls while batting ??

Look when u have such an aggressive batting line up such as pakistan and they end up batting for whole 50 overs and only score 201 then u know there is something wrong with the wicket....
 
let it rain - Srl will have to beat us 3-0 for us to be in the prelim round for the Champions Trophy
 
The weather currently is very very bad, , it's raining now ! I don't think we might have a result today honestly ! This can go in Sri Lanka favour if the DL method is going to come in. But the conditions for bowling are very good out there.

i dont mind we get some match practice in at least..

good thing is our bowlers are not 90+ ala Sami and Shoaib and thus on this pitch they will get assistance
 
If rain doesn't play spoilsport, Pak will win this one. 201 is a very good score on this wicket. Let me be the first one to congratulate the Pak team on this win.
 
I sense a Pakistan victory if rain does not play spoil sport. should be a cracker of a match.

Just making sure :P Any way a good warm up for Pakistan since PCB were idotic enough not to have any warmup games for this tour. It is good the Pakistani batsman got some practice. Look like a No result for sure now...
 
there's been no update on cricinfo OR cricbuzz..anyone know the latest? is the rain easing?
 
Game washed away, confirmed it is a little ocean out there the outfield is full of water. It definetly going to take 2 days to dry this out.

So final: No Result
 
oh let our bowlers bowl after the rain and see if sri lanka can even put up 100

man this coverage is crap they're just showing us the pitch getting wet and a lot of noise

give me some analysis or some talking or something!
