I agree. Even a part-timer can get a break here. Don’t understand how Sajid, as a specialist spinner, is doing so poorly on this pitch. If this is our second-place back up - Pakistan don’t have any spin reserves at all.

If this was Saifi bhai than you already know 100 threads would have been made calling him the worst keeper in Pakistan history

I mean anyone can bowl better than Sajid Khan. He's should never come close to Pakistan team again. They should have picked nawaz instead better bowler, batsmen and a fielder.

The real facts are, Mohammad Rizwan is one of the most selfish, drama baazi cricketers to ever represent Pakistan. Everything he does is for PR. The only reason why he is even in the team is not due to merit or performance but because he has a lobby that is busy blackmailing the PCB

The longer he stays in the team, the further Pakistan cricket will fall

If Pak can break this partnership in the next 5 overs, they can restrict Aus to 300. Head is a momentum player. He scores in bunches.
 
Why can these guys not catch? If a player drops 2 catches in a match they should be dropped indefinitely. This is an absolute freaking joke. How many catches have we dropped in this series
 
And Saim drops another one. Do these kids not do a lick of fielding practice in domestic? It's literally the easiest thing to be good at and Pakistani players can't even do that.

For Pakistan cricket to move forward we must lose this test. If we win than Rizwan will be a passenger for another year and a half which will result in our cricket falling further down

If we lose than his pathetic keeping will be exposed and maybe finally we can move forward with Saifi at the helm

You have to wonder if Head is a Test batsman. He is reminding me of SKY. Bats like a tailender in longest version.
 
appears 1st innings scores will be in vicinity of 10-20 runs . If visitors can set a target of 250 which they should as Jamal batting at 9 , Aussies will have to bat very well to get that . Weather permitting , we got another 230 overs in the game left . Weather forecast ?

This is why tuk tuk cricket never works on tricky pitches. Pakistan's aggressive batting put them ahead now. Labu and Smith dug a deep hole. Pakistan made 313 in 8 overs less. Long road ahead for Australia from here on.
 
you know what really hard to take is despite this dog **** team and it's short comings we could have real shot at winning the series even if we had taken even half the chances we dropped and gift ed and they weren't even difficult ones. And due to them it will be again 0-3 end result which would be terrible read , last two test it's Actually Pak who overall looked a better team. if this doesn't show importance of fielding to Pak nothing ever will. such a shame.

He is a fighter! He might look limited talentwise, but he will put in his 100% and do better than other more talented players.
I liked his attitude when I first saw him.

He has a bowling average of 23.07 in his first test series in AUstralia. Hats off!

hope this remains the trend for Pak.

We have learned this lesson so many times over the last few decades. Aggressiveness had turned into wins and lethargic passive batting has always done us dirty.

Honestly used to think after that 300 odd chase in 2014-15 vs SL in tests where Azhar led the charge we would have turned a new leaf.

Nope. He went back to his tuk tuk self. Under a tuk tuk captain.

Hope this change is lasting this time. Shan with all his flaws at least has the right mentality.

Yep. People blame our batting or bowling for us being winless in 27-28 years but truth is if we hung onto 1-2 regulation catches in that time frame, we’d have at least 1-2 wins in the column.

If you go through all the losses there are a dozen or so easy catches that were put down, some due to suspicious circumstances as was the case between 90s-2010.

Pakistan have actually bowled really well

Marsh wants to dominate but he is 14 off 44

They are not getting much to hit out there.
 
Saim ayub deserved to be dropped from the team until he improves his fielding
 
we have found new Warner marsh to gift chance after chnace , our fielding future is bleak with fielders like Shafiq and saim, zero game sense and lack of right attitude toward fielding.

Far far too early to draw comparisons but could turn out to be our stokes type player. Hope this is the start of a long and successful career for him
 
One bad spell or a good knock in next 30 overs will decide the course of this Test .
