Pakistan's hopes of avoiding a 3-0 whitewash against Australia in tatters after they end Day 3 of SCG Test on 68/7, a lead of 82 runs

We always make other teams’ mediocre players look like greats but can’t do that for our own players.
 
I would not say that it will an innings defeat but yeah, chances are slim for Pakistan.
 
Hassan ali also looks non-threatening atm. No real venom in his bowling that too with a new ball.
 
Pakistan is playing this test with only 3 bowlers ( Hamza, Jamal & Acha). Sajid is one of the most toothless spinner I have ever seen from Pak, it's clear he can't get wickets. Hasan Ali is playing as main fast bowler but has failed to get single wicket, there was no reason to play him ahead of Wasim Jnr. Aus will take lead of 100-150 easily

We have been unlucky he was pur 4th choice bowler khurram got injured after wonderful first test abrar got injured naseem is also a miss and Shaheen rested.

If not great at least better than Hasan who literally forgot the art of taking wickets. These 2 batsman have almost cleaned the deficit, now match will gradually shift towards Aus

Luck favors the brave. Pakistan fielders have missed too many chances in the field and too at some crucial moments that brought pakistan to this.
 
We're not made for winning here. You don't get results by just winning the odd session and meandering in the next.

I know you and @Rana hate Rizwan but come on man Rizwan is miles better than sarfaraz.Rizwan is the reason why Pakistan is in this game .

Can Carey wicket change thing for Pakistan? They need to take remaining four wickets for max 40 runs.
 
Brilliant effort from our bowlers once again.
Had Abdullah and Saim's's catching been good, we would have won the series.
 
First good delivery he's bowled all day
Hopefully the lead turns out to be minimal but with the bison still there it could well get uglier
 
Game is still in the balance as Australia is still behind. I expect some cowlashing from Starc. IN current form won't last long.
 
This could have been great if we seriously held onto our chances. Except for the first test we played great
 
Babar over doing the clowning around bit ! Pak would feel happy if they can get last 4 wickets for 50-60 runs .

Can someone explain to me how the 4th spinner who was only called up to the squad over Abrar's injury is playing over Nawaz & Nauman? Yeah there is some lefties for Aus but that was also the case when you selecting the squad. Says a lot about our spin quality domestically when your specialist spinner is being outclassed by a batting all-rounder, not even a spin all-rounder

Nauman was their first choice but had acute appendicitis and is out.

Nawaz was never picked for Tests but had his visa so they added him as backup. I guess he could have played considering Sajid is pretty average but it's not much of a choice between the two.
 
Marsh taking advantage yet again of Pak's sloppy fielding. Pak have themselves to blame. There's been some criticism of Pak's drills for slip catching too.
 
Jamal with the massive breakthrough. Omg Pakistan have a legitimate chance now to restrict Australia.

It’s going to be a 2inning battle. Both teams cancelled each other in 1st 🥇 innings pretty much.

Usually, by the SCG Test, PAK look completely hopeless.

But the field placements and bowling plans have been very good.

Too many Australian players looking old and well short of their best. A transition is overdue now.

Looks like sajid have found the length now hopefully we can put runs on the board so our bowlers will have something to bowl at
 
Should be given out. Not conclusive enough to be given not out.
 
I mean I guess Saud barely held onto that but another easy catch nearly dropped. Team needs some serious in their slip catching.
