This one happened with Congress too in West Delhi the metro originally was planned to go from the market but they instead put it on residential side(for obvious reasons) , my grandparents got their house broken and obviously the compensation was ridiculous.

Eventhough Congress Delhi has been the best , literally my entire family turned anti- Congress after that..(many still voted Congress till 2014)..
Congress too have big goons, never denied that. But they aren't anywhere near power in 90% of states and certainly not in center.

Even in Maharashtra despite being part of MVA government, they were fringe players at best.

My point is it is a business end of the day, on politics as such.

Congress actually is good in many states but they don’t know how to do well or sell themselves.

Their policy of backing regional parties has backfired on them most occasions something BJP doesn’t make the mistake of, they always keep their regional parties in check (if difference in ideology), they have learnt from CONGRESS’ mistakes and ploys.

Yeah, this is true. Congress doesn't know how to sell its achievements whatever little they may be.

You must have noticed how regional parties are being swallowed by sanghis. This looks good in the present as more and more states are getting added to their kitty but this phase won't last forever.

There will be a time when they'll need allies to shore up their numbers but not many will be forthcoming as they will remember all too well how they behave with their junior alliance partners.

That is true.. but I have always disliked many regional parties but it could stem from my dislike of Dravidian politics because I was Hindi speaking in Chennai not denying thought MGR, Annadurai were good Dravidian leaders, and helped socially a lot.
Kamraj also an excellent leader, TN was blessed with good leaders due to which they are really in a better stand than many states.

BJP will not need many regional allies of theh can control UP, to make BJP lose UP has to be won.

What I implied above that things won't always be as rosy for them as they are currently. And whenever that happens, they'll need allies and regional parties knowing how badly they were treated by sanghis in the past, will not be as forthcoming to welcome them.

As for UP, it is not going to be ruled by any other party till the time it is communally polarized. It is called lab of communalism for a reason.

Zee News has issued a second extraordinary apology on TV in as many days for running fake news on Rahul Gandhi by linking his comments to the beheading of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal.

Zee News anchor Rohit Ranjan appeared on the channel’s prime time show, DNA, to make a profound announcement. The anchor said, “It was broadcast by mistake in relation to the Rajasthan murder case. This was a human error and we seek forgiveness for that.”

The anchor added, “We would like to make it clear that there was no bad intention behind this mistake. Shri Rahul Gandhi is a respectable MP from Wayanad and a senior leader of the Congress. There was no intention to damage his reputation. We seek forgiveness for this mistake once again.”

The anchor announced that Zee Media had taken the matter seriously and sacked two employees with immediate effect for the costly lapse.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had written to BJP President JP Nadda highlighting how some of his party leaders were sharing the fake video from the Zee News broadcast to malign Gandhi and the Congress. This was after Rajasthan BJP leader and former union minister, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was seen sharing the same video to attack the Congress. Twitter had marked his tweet as manipulated post.

During his visit to his constituency in Wayanad in Kerala, the Congress leader was asked about the act of vandalism by SFI workers targeting his office. Replying to a question, Gandhi had said, “First of all. This is my office but, before being it my office, this is the office of the people of Wayanad. However, the violence never resolves any problem. They are also children. Fine, it’s not a good thing to do, but they’ve acted in an irresponsible manner. I don’t have any hostility towards them.

“They are kids. I don’t think they understand the consequences.”

Zee News in its prime time programme, DNA, had said Gandhi had called the killers of Udaipur’s tailor ‘they are kids.’

The Zee News anchor had said, “And in the end, we would like to you show you that statement of Rahul Gandhi again whereby he’s calling the accused of the Udaipur murder as ‘kids.’

lol someone must've threatened serious legal action.

Two of the BJP's prominent members turned out to be terrorists, so guess they got a little desperate to shift the attention elsewhere :apology

This Rathore creature has become a complete troll. Had big respect for him for winning Olympic silver but sanghis have even managed to spoil him.

"Couldn't Take 5 Days Of Rain": BJP MP On UP Expressway Inaugurated By PM

New Delhi: The pitiful condition of a brand-new expressway in Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated last week by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, gave ammunition to the opposition to attack the BJP-led central government on Thursday. BJP MP Varun Gandhi, who has been openly critical of his own party, too joined the ranks of critics and questioned the quality of the construction work.

"If the expressway built at a cost of ₹ 15,000 crore couldn't withstand even five days of rain, then serious questions rise on its quality," he said in a Hindi tweet.

https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/bjp...ays-of-rain-3183095#pfrom=home-ndtv_topscroll

lol, and this was what feku had to say after inaugurating this so-called expressway...

“Today in our country, attempts are being made to collect votes by distributing free rewris (sweets). This rewri culture is very dangerous for the development of the country. People of the country, especially the youth, need to be careful of this rewri culture. People of the rewri culture will not build new expressways, new airports or defence corridors for you. They feel that by distributing free rewris to people, they can buy them. Together we need to defeat this thinking of theirs. The rewri culture needs to be removed from the country’s politics. Away from the rewri culture, we are living up to the expectations of people by building roads and new rail routes. For the poor, we are building new houses, completing irrigation schemes, building dams, setting up electricity units so that poor and farmers’ lives improve and the future of our youth does not drown in darkness,” said the PM after the inauguration.

lol, needless to say, he got badly trolled by bisht's corrupt ways.

And then we are being told these bishts, fekus are non corrupt. If sending 15K crores down the drain is not corruption, what else is?

Don’t understand how these political parties will oppose BJP with such silly vices which are political suicides.

BJP leaders are bigots but their uncorrupted image resonates with average voters which they use it to their advantage. Only communists have similar image.

Did you read about the Meghalaya BJP leader who was running a brothel that might have included underage kids?

Anyway, on the topic of corruption, look up Karnataka. A BJP worker committed suicide and blamed his party leaders for crazy commission requirements for passing his contracts. A Lingayat seer accused the government of taking 30% from even the matthas.

And that's just Karnataka. There's plenty across India that I've lost count of because it doesn't seem to matter.

BJP being a corruption-free party is a myth they've successfully propagated, just like the one about Rahul Gandhi being a Pappu :srt

lol at sanghis being non corrupt! They're the most corrupt netas our country has ever seen, led by the ring master who helmed biggest corruption scandal of all times, Demonetization!

And this after they've ruled center for just 14-odd years!

"Don't Talk To Me," Sonia Gandhi Told Smriti Irani In Parliament: Sources

New Delhi: In a dramatic confrontation in parliament today over Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury calling President Droupadi Murmu "Rashtrapatni", Congress president Sonia Gandhi walked across the house to speak to a BJP MP. When Smriti Irani reportedly intervened, Sonia Gandhi said "Don't talk to me", according to sources.

The sharp exchange took place during a break in Lok Sabha, which had been adjourned amid loud protests by BJP MPs against Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.

"Sonia Gandhi, apologise," Smriti Irani had said in the house, with members of the ruling BJP holding up placards.

"Sonia Gandhi, you sanctioned the humiliation of Droupadi Murmu. Sonia ji sanctioned humiliation of a woman in the highest constitutional post," the Union Minister said.

After the Lok Sabha Speaker adjourned the house, Sonia Gandhi was about to leave when she decided to walk to the slogan-shouting BJP MPs. Two Congress MPs were with her.

In a stunning move, the Congress president crossed the floor of the House and reportedly said to BJP MP Rama Devi: "Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury had already apologised. Why am I being dragged into this?"

Sources say Smriti Irani interjected and said, "Madam, may I help you? I took your name."

To which, Sonia Gandhi retorted: "Don't talk to me."

That fraud sanskari :)) Isn't her daughter involved in some case for running an illegal bar or something in Goa?

Smriti's only feather is defeating Rahul Gandhi. But her arrogance was so bad even by BJP standards, she was sacked from the HRD Ministry. There were so many cases of total disrespect to more capable and higher achievers than this big-talking fraud. She once even made a retired General who was VC of Aligarh University stand while she chatted a personal conversation on the phone and then made him come several times with whatever request he had. Eventually, it was only when he met Modi he was able to receive a proper audience and hearing of his griefs. Imagine that - how terrible must she be that Modi is a gentleman compared to her :))

Can someone who understands the nuances of Hindi also explain why Rashtrapatni whether a slip or deliberate is so offensive. Isn't the Prez in Hindi called Rashtrapita. And isn't patni the female version of pati?

There is nothing offensive about being called rashtrapatni.

Smriti aunty created this hullabaloo only to divert attention from her daughter's illegal bar in Goa. Even sanghis aren't giving her any support on this issue as they know it's a lost battle and fake graduate is wrong as usual.

As for her arrogant attitude, she once took offence on someone calling her dear Smriti.

Now let that sink in. That's why it's great to be educated which she certainly isn't despite her false claims of her being a Yale graduate.

She is certainly following her master's footsteps in propagating her false degree

To give an example.. when we google BJP corruption , atleast while doing it in USA you will be surprised as to what results come, those are not enough.

Except for Karnataka nothing really comes, Karnataka BJP seems to be consistent .

Although there is a funny page which is supposed to result all his scams, but its majority like Adani one which in words of “Alagiri” are “scientific corruption” (also results in first page) which Indian public would think of it as not.

That's why you find their supporters trying to find support on pp. Indians mein to jyada milta nahi.

They are okay to make false allegations on 19 years old kid but ED should not question Raja Mata.
Earlier this Jai Ram Ramesh posted fake and apologized, nothing new for them.

You forgot about huge corruption scandal of electoral bonds, brought in by corrupt feku to hide the extent of 'donations' sanghis receive from their industrialist Chums or how else he can explain the thousands of crores he spends on buying out opposition lawmakers on daily basis or those mega bucks spent on election campaigns.

"You're Alive Because Of Narendra Modi": Bihar Minister's Vaccine Praise

Muzaffarpur: Bihar minister Ram Surat Rai on Friday heaped praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under whose leadership India ran the world's biggest vaccination drive during the Covid-19 pandemic, and credited him for saving the lives of Indians.

"If you are alive, the credit goes to Narendra Modi. He developed the vaccine during the covid pandemic and administered its free doses to people in the country," Ram Surat Rai said while addressing a public meeting in Muzaffarpur.

The Bihar BJP leader said that several countries are still battling the economic impact of the pandemic, but in India, work is being done at a fast pace to strengthen the economy.

"Talk to Pakistanis - we have seen the situation there through television reports. We Indians are still at peace," Mr Rai added.

lol, there are sycophants and then there are sanghis and their bhakts (several of whom could be found on this forum too).

Talking of corruption, read this,

Opinion: BJP's Zero Tolerance For Corruption - Among Opponents (Only)

The recent mountain of cash and bullion found in the homes of a close associate of Partha Chatterjee, a senior leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), has shocked the nation and embarrassed the party. Mamata Banerjee has dropped the minister from the cabinet, and suspended him from all party posts. The law must punish all the guilty in this sordid scam.

However, such a large hoarding of cash is but a tip of the iceberg of the amount of unaccounted cash that pervades the working of our democracy. All political parties know this. But the laudable thing about the BJP is that it has zero tolerance for corruption for its political opponents. It is also a party, which by its inherent integrity, 'morally transforms' those accused of crimes among its own members, and those that take the 'wise' decision of joining it.

The facts bear this out. Since 2014, central investigative agencies have reportedly targeted 609 political rivals, their family members, and critics of the government. Of this, it seems only 39 are from the BJP, and 570 are against those opposed to it, a 340 per cent increase against political opponents when compared to the UPA-2 government. Obviously then, corruption and wrongdoing are happening mostly in the BJP's adversaries, and not in the BJP.

Just before the 2022 Assembly elections, the central agencies carried out raids against aides of Akhilesh Yadav, leader of the Samajwadi Party. In the lead up to the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, 14 leaders, associates and relatives of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) were targeted. In the Tamil Nadu Assembly election in the same year, eight members of the DMK were investigated, including party chief MK Stalin's son and daughter-in-law, just four days before the polls.

Coincidentally, all these parties were the BJP's principal political opponents in their respective states.

The BJP's crusade against corruption spares no one. Tax investigations were conducted in 2019 against the wife, son and sister of Ashok Lavasa, a sitting Election Commissioner of India. It is only incidental perhaps that Lavasa had given a dissenting opinion to the clean chit given to top BJP leaders during the 2019 elections. Lavasa later resigned and left for the safer climes of the Asian Development Bank in Manila.

The BJP's policy of probity, its political opponents allege, can be highly selective. ** Yediyurappa became Chief Minister of Karnataka in 2019 in spite of serious allegations against him in graft and land scams. Allegedly, diaries were also recovered from him showing large payouts to BJP leaders, judges and advocates. The Karnataka High Court refused to quash criminal proceedings against him, but the Supreme Court has recently stayed this order. Currently, the matter is sub-judice.

Suvendu Adhikari was interrogated by the CBI for his role in the Saradha scam in September 2014 when the BJP had come to power, and by the Enforcement Directorate in 2017. But then he was a member of the Trinamool. Once he joined the BJP in 2020, he has not been interrogated, and is now the Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal.

Himanta Biswa Sarma was the target of a sustained BJP campaign as the 'key suspect' in a water supply scam in Guwahati. The party even published a booklet giving full details. It was alleged that an American construction management company had paid bribes against the project. In fact, there is a chargesheet by the US Department of Justice, under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, for bribes being paid to an unnamed minister in the Assam government. Once Sarma joined the BJP, the party did not push for its own earlier demand that the case be handed over to the CBI. Sarma is now the BJP Chief Minister of Assam.

Similarly, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chauhan was given a clean chit in the Vyapam scam by the CBI in 2017. Once Narayan Rane, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, joined the BJP, he was made a Rajya Sabha MP, and no one knows, at least in the public realm, what is happening in the many cases against him for money-laundering and land scams. By contrast, Swami Prasad Maurya, who was in UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's cabinet but joined the Samajwadi Party in 2022, is now on the radar of the UP Special Task Force in a recruitment scam.

According to the Association of Democratic Reforms, in the reshuffled July 2019 cabinet of Modi-ji, 34 of the 78 ministers have declared criminal cases against themselves. 25 per cent have serious criminal cases, including murder, attempt to murder, robbery etc. As per available facts, L. Murugan, Minister of State for Fisheries and Animal Husbandry, who was earlier the BJP party chief in Tamil Nadu, has 21 criminal cases against him. Nisith Pramanik, Minister of State in the Home Ministry, faces 13 criminal cases, including murder and dacoity. John Barla, Minister of State for Minority Affairs, is charged for nine criminal cases, including attempt to murder. Pankaj Chaudhury, Minister of State for Finance, faces five criminal cases, including attempt to murder. V Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs, has a case of attempt to murder. Shantanu Thakur, Minister for Ports, is accused of cheating and criminal intimidation in six cases. The BJP must be right when it says that these serious cases have been conjured by political rivals, and the ministers are innocent until convicted.

Our very independent police and investigative agencies will no doubt pursue these cases after they are done with the more important task of investigating the critics of the government.

Some BJP leaders are particularly honest. Harshvardhan Patil, a former MLA from Maharashtra, who switched from the Congress to the BJP before the 2019 elections, said at a public function in Pune district in October 2021, "Everything is easy going and peaceful (in BJP). I get a sound sleep as there are no enquiries." His colleague in Maharashtra, Sanjay Patil, a BJP MP, was equally candid. At an event in Sangli, just a few days later, he said, "The Enforcement Directorate (ED) won't come after me since I am a BJP MP. We have to take a loan in order to purchase luxury cars worth ₹ 40 lakhs to show off. The ED will be surprised to see the amount of loan we have."

Smriti Irani, minister for women and child development in the Narendra Modi government, may have been economical with the truth when she told the Delhi high court that neither she nor her daughter own or run the Silly Souls Café and Bar in Goa – the controversial restaurant summoned by the state’s excise authorities to explain how it applied for and obtained a liquor license in the name of a dead man.

What she hid from the high court – despite stating on oath that she had not concealed “any material fact, document or record” relevant to the suit – is that:

(1) the controversial bar and restaurant operates from the very same address – House No. 452, Bouta Vaddo, Assagao – from which a company controlled by her husband and family, Eightall Food and Beverage, conducts its primary business;

(2) the GST number allotted to the Irani family company at the Assagao address is identical to the GST number which the Silly Souls Cafe and Bar has filed with restaurant aggregator websites, as The Wire has established;

(3) balance sheets and profit/loss statements filed by the Irani family company for the financial year ending March 31, 2021 and obtained by The Wire show that the company spent money purchasing “material and alcohol” and food during the year, sold food and alcohol, and noted the value of its food and alcohol inventory – which strongly indicates that the business of Eightall Food and Beverage includes the sale of liquor, for which a license is required by law. One of the stated aims of the company is to “operate restaurants”.

There is, in addition, evidence from Zubin Irani’s Instagram account – which Smriti Irani follows – where he includes “co-founder @sillysoulscafe Goa” as part of his biographical details. And an interview that Zoish Irani, the 18-year-old daughter of Smriti Irani, gave to the well-known food critic Kunal Vijayakar in which she nods in assent when he asks her if the Silly Souls restaurant is hers. “Let me introduce you to a very, very young entrepreneur,” Vijaykar says. “This is Zoish Irani. Correct? This is your restaurant?” And Zoish Irani says, “Yeah” and nods.

Yea Viv talk nah :srt

Wire is anti national and hence doesn't count as a source!

I think you're confusing Smriti trying to silence the Congress leaders, with The Wire doing an independent investigation into sanskari Smriti's murky double life :warner

Lol..They should have provided all the evidence to Congress or SC .
They can't because they know they will lose with all the all false allegations.

Mumbai Mayor's "Washing Machine" Jibe At BJP Over New Maharashtra Cabinet

Mumbai: After the induction of rebel Shiv Sena MLAs Sanjay Rathod and Abdul Sattar into the Maharashtra cabinet on Tuesday, former Mumbai mayor Kishori Pednekar claimed the BJP is like a washing machine and once leaders go there, they come out clean.

Mr Rathod, who was part of the previous Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, resigned last year over his alleged link to a woman's death.

Recently, the names of three daughters and a son of Mr Sattar appeared in the list of the 7,880 candidates who were disqualified and banned in connection with the alleged rigging of the Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) 2019-20.

After the induction of the two leaders into the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra cabinet, Ms Pednekar, who belongs to the Uddhav Thackeray-led Sena faction, said, "It's (the BJP) like a washing machine. Once they go there, they come out clean." Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said Mr Rathod was given a clean chit by police when the MVA was in power. Hence, he was included in the state cabinet.

By coming out of NDA, Nitish violated people’s mandate which was given to us in 2020 Assembly poll, says State BJP president Sanjay Jaiswal

Soon after Nitish Kumar went to the Raj Bhawan to offer his resignation as NDA’s Chief Minister in Bihar on Tuesday, the alliance partner BJP cried “foul and betrayal”. State BJP leaders were at loss of words and taken aback by the sudden, yet expected move by Mr. Kumar.

“By coming out of the National Democratic Alliance, Nitish violated people’s mandate which was given to us in the 2020 Assembly poll. We fulfilled our promise to make him Chief Minister despite his party got only 43 seats in the polls but he betrayed us today. People of Bihar will not tolerate this”, said State BJP president Sanjay Jaiswal, addressing media persons at the party headquarters in Patna. Mr. Jaiswal offered no other explanation on the issue. Senior party leader and Deputy Chief Minister in Mr. Kumar’s Cabinet Tarkishore Prasad, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, Road Construction Minister Nitin Nabin and others too were present.

‘Lost credibility’

“Nitish has betrayed us but with this he has lost his credibility. He had prime ministerial ambitions but in the NDA we cannot make him PM candidate”, said senior BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh. State BJP leaders huddled together late on Tuesday evening to mull the party’s next strategy in the aftermath of Mr. Kumar’s U-turn. However, most of the State BJP leaders preferred not to make any comment.

The political grapevine was that State BJP leaders had inkling that Mr. Kumar could take such a move of “betrayal” after the rift between both the partners widened on several issues such as demand for special status for Bihar, caste census etc. “But, it would come so soon, we had not anticipated”, said a lower-rung BJP leader. He also rued that “from the top party leadership there was no move to speak or convince Mr. Kumar”.

Nadda’s statement

Recently, BJP President J.P. Nadda had said that in the days to come all regional parties would vanish and only the BJP would remain a political party at the national level. “This statement of Mr. Nadda meant that the BJP wanted to crush regional parties and the voice of the Opposition which has been an important part of democracy. That means the BJP wanted to crush democracy from the place from where it got originated”, said RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. “This statement of Mr. Nadda certainly got the regional parties like the JD(U) and others apprehensive and might have triggered the sudden move of Nitish”, said the BJP leader.

BJP crushes its allies, says Tejashwi Yadav

Besides, recently the BJP held its joint national executive committee meeting of seven frontal organisations in Patna and asked all its 750 delegates to visit 200 out of the 243 Assembly constituencies of the State to get feedback from people regarding the coming 2024 polls. “Why only 200, the BJP could send its delegates to all 243 constituencies”, rued JD(U) national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh aka Lalan Singh. “This move had also alarmed Nitish and his party leaders that the BJP now wants to gobble up its ally JD(U)”, said the JD(U) leader.

Sources in the JD(U) told The Hindu that Mr. Kumar, though, was mulling over snapping ties with the BJP since long but the “RCP Singh episode” prompted him to take the decision soon to “avoid a Maharashtra-like situation”. “The BJP was using RCP Singh like Eknath Shinde to play Maharashtra-like political game but the alert JD(U) leader nipped that move in the bud with this masterstroke”, said a senior JD(U) leader requesting anonymity. “I agree that it was like a Machiavellian move by our party leader Nitish Kumar but what else he could have done to protect his party and power, you better tell me”, asked the leader.

lol, hit the nail on its head, Mumbai Mayor.

sanghis vehemently asked for these 2 (Rathod & Sattar) to be removed from cabinet while they were in MVA government.

These 2 have become squeaky clean now that they are free from tentacles of anti national forces.

Paltu chacha or Kursi kumar as he is called in political circles, this is too much even by Nitish Kumar's own lofty standards of partner swapping.

1) He was with Lalu till 1994.
2) Then he broke up with Lalu and formed his own party Samata Party along with George Fernandes.
3) Then he aligned with sanghis in '98 and became India's railway minister.
4) Then he broke up with them in '14 and made government with Lalu.
5) Then he divorced Lalu and wed with sanghis again in '17.
6) And now he again broke up with sanghis and realigned with Lalu.

One common theme with Nitish Kumar since late '90s is that he is never out of power.

However, good to see sanghis getting taste of their own medicine for once. They couldn't replicate Maharashtra model of deceit in Bihar which sooner or later was bound to happen as feku's lust for power is second to none.

Pity, the so-called Chanakya of Indian politics couldn't foresee this. However, his memory is said to be very sharp in these cases and he won't forget this insult in a hurry. Nitish will need to be on his toes as he'll now be a marked man by the likes of CBI, ED etc.

Lol , BJP got fooled, well had to happen somewhere.

JDU does have anti-congress blood in them I wouldn’t trust them completely.

Bihar is a joke of a state ruled by clowns of the prime order. No wonder there's no development there.

C Voter and Yeshwant Deshmukh is known for their conservative polls which they themselves have admitted it multiple times. This 286 number is too less for my liking. I have no doubts BJP alone will cross 300 seats in 2024 election and I am being modest. Only a fool would vote for any other party for central leadership.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Compares Book On Modi With Gita, Courts Controversy

Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has courted controversy with his remarks describing a book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be as sacred as the preachings of Lord Krishna in Gita, with the Congress calling it an "insult'' to the Hindu scripture.

The BJP leader had spoken about 'Modi@20: Dreams Meeting Delivery', a book that talks about Modi's work in politics and governance, at a programme in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan on Monday.

“I can say this with confidence today that in the time to come, this book, for the people of the future generation, will be sacred and important like Gita's updesh given by Shree Krishna,” he said Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra and the chief minister's OSD, Lokesh Sharma, lashed out at Shekhawat, saying he has crossed all limits of sycophancy.

“Those who are unabashed about their greed of power, do not pollute the path of religion by insulting the holy book of Sanatan culture, Bhagavad Gita,” Govind Singh Dotasra tweeted on Tuesday.

“O Krishna…give them wisdom,” he said.

Hinduism is not like Abrahamic religions. All Hindu Gods were real people that once walked on earth. They got deified due to their God like Character they have shown to people around them.
Comparing Modi to Krishna or some other God is not objectionable for Hindus.

Telengana BJP leader Raja Singh was arrested and released for insulting Prophet of Islam. BJP suspends him for his remarks. Huge protests started once the video of the inflammatory speech by Raja Singh hit the internet.

lol at comparing Modi to Krishna or some other God is not objectionable for Hindus!

Guess the ones who take offence at every little thing said about Hindu gods by Muslims in particular are ok with these blasphemies as they hold feku in higher regard than even Shri Ram or Shri Krishna!

Well done bhakts! feku should be forever indebted for getting such die hard bhakts!

If you do not know Hinduism, you better learn. Rama, Krishna, Shiva are not some mythical beings living in heaven. They were real people who walked on this Earth. Of course, over millennia, lot of myth and stories obviously concocted on them making them super humans. Its the human nature.

Hinduism is half myth and half reality.

There is nothing offensive in comparing a human to characters like Rama or Krishna. People constantly compare great personalities to other great humans that once lived. They call them avatars.

I don't know whats wrong in someone thinking Modi is like Krishna or Rama. Its their opinion. You can disagree with it.

Modi is now 71 years old. Old man.

If Modi dies, how will it impact BJP and its voters?

GN Azad Quits Congress: "Decisions Taken By Rahul Gandhi, Or His Guards"

New Delhi: Ghulam Nabi Azad, a Congress veteran and former Union Minister, quit the party today with a searing attack on Rahul Gandhi, calling him out for "glaring immaturity" and for "demolishing the consultative mechanism" in the party.

Ghulam Nabi Azad had been a leading member of the G-23 or the group of 23 "dissenters" who had written to Sonia Gandhi in 2020 calling for a complete overhaul of the organization and a full-time and visible leadership.

In a long resignation letter, he praised Sonia Gandhi while blaming her son Rahul for the Congress's defeat in the 2014 national election - a turning point for the party, which has been struggling to win elections since.

"Unfortunately, after the entry of Rahul Gandhi into politics and particularly after January 2013, when he was appointed Vice President by you, the entire consultative mechanism which existed earlier was demolished by him," Mr Azad wrote.

Quite damning indictment of Rahul. However, there is nothing which we don't know.

lol at Congress. Can't get its get together even after being out of power for 8-odd years. And if things continue in the same vein, they won't get back power even in next 80 years!

Probe Against UP Official For Not Recognising Smriti Irani Over Phone

Amethi, UP: A lekhpal (government clerk) is being probed under the charge of not discharging his duties after he failed to recognise Amethi MP and Union minister Smriti Irani's voice over the phone, officials said on Monday.

A resident of Poore Pahalwan village under Musafirkhana tehsil had on August 27 given a complaint letter to Ms Irani, saying that after the death of his father, a teacher, his mother Savitri Devi is entitled to pension. But her pension was stuck because the verification had not been completed by Deepak, the clerk, Mr Karunesh (27) alleged.

Ms Irani, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, then called the clerk, but he could not recognise her.

Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Amethi Ankur Lathar on Monday told PTI that as per the letter of Mr Karunesh, it is a case of laxity on the part of Musafirkhana lekhpal Deepak, and he has not discharged his duties.

Finance Minister Pulls Up Bureaucrat For A Question He Failed To Answer

Hyderabad: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday pulled up the Kamareddy district collector Jitesh Patil when the latter could not provide an answer to what was the Centre and the state's share in the rice supplied through fair price shops.
Ms Sitharaman, who was attending various programmes in Zaheerabad Parliamentary Constituency as part of BJP's 'Lok Sabha Pravas Yojana', also asked Collector Jitesh Patil why the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was missing at the shop in Birkur as the Centre bears a lion's share in the subsidised rice which is being sold at ₹ 1 in the state to beneficiaries.

"The rice which is sold at ₹ 35 in the open market was being distributed to people at ₹ 1 here. How much is the state government bearing?" she asked the Collector.

She said the Centre is supplying the rice in PDS shops bearing all the costs, including logistics and storage, and was trying to get an answer whether that free rice is reaching the people or not.

She alleged that when a request was earlier made to put up PM's pictures also at the fair price shops in Telangana, it was not allowed. The BJP workers who came forward to put up the pictures were also not allowed, she claimed.

"I am telling you today. Our people will come and put up the PM's banner here. You will, as the district administrator, ensure that it shall not be removed. That it shall not be torn," she warned the Collector.

"If a banner is not there, I will come to this place again," she said.

lol, this hapless lady's first priority is to have feku's posters being put up at fair price shops! Had she put in even half the effort in shoring up the Indian economy rather than insisting on having feku being omnipresent, things might not have been as bad!

So is this feku's personal money which is used for contribution towards PDS ration or taxpayers' contribution towards exchequer?

And if this is not revdi, what else is? If feku does it, it's welfare, if any opposition leader does it its revdi.

Well done, feku, the hypocrite.

Rahul Gandhi's bhaarat jodo yatra has been a big sucess. Normally I dont praise him but this was a good move. His image where he is giving speech in Mysuru soaked in rain was good one. People are slowly starting to take him seriously. Now if that will transcribe into vote is anyone's guess but a good start nonetheless after being a pappu for years.
