Sedition Case Against Ex Governor Over Remarks Against Yogi Government

Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh Governor Aziz Qureshi has been charged for sedition over his alleged derogatory remarks against the Yogi Adityanath government in the state, police said on Monday.
The FIR was lodged following a complaint by BJP leader Akash Kumar Saxena at the Civil Lines Police Station in Rampur district on Sunday.

In his complaint, Mr Saxena alleged that after visiting Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan's house and meeting his wife Tazeen Fatma, Mr Qureshi made derogatory statements against the Yogi Adityanath government and compared it to a "blood-sucking demon". "The statement can create tension between two communities and create unrest in the society," Mr Saxena said in his complaint.

The BJP leader also handed over to police a pen drive containing Mr Qureshi's alleged statement which was aired by various news channels.

"Humiliated" Amarinder Singh Quits As Chief Minister, Says Options Open

Another feather in Gandhis' cap. Well done. Sanghis don't have to do anything to be in power, Congress shooting itself in foot, again and again.

Anyone familiar with Punjab politics may like to say anything on this? As far as I knew Captain has quite a following in Punjab politics.

After Parkash Singh Badal, he is the tallest Punjab leader.

Babul Supriyo, Till Recently A Union Minister, Joins Team Mamata

olkata: Former Union Minister Babul Supriyo joined Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress today, two months after he was asked to resign as junior minister in the Environment Ministry and a month after saying he won't join any other party and would quit politics. Later, he amended his plans and said he would remain a Member of Parliament.

"If opportunity comes your way, you should decide, and I have decided to take this," Mr Supriyo told reporters today. He was listed as the BJP's star campaigner for the Bhabanipur bypoll, where the BJP's Priyanka Tibrewal will contest against Ms Banerjee on September 30.

Mr Supriyo is the fifth BJP leader - the four others were BJP MLAs - to join Trinamool Congress after Ms Banerjee's party won the assembly election in May and retained power. Trinamool leader Kunal Ghosh today said more BJP leaders are in talks to join the party. "Many BJP leaders are in communication with Trinamool leadership. They are not satisfied with BJP. One (Mr Supriyo) joined today, another wants to join tomorrow. This process will go on. Wait and watch," Mr Ghosh said, news agency ANI reported.

This is really surprising, I mean really really surprising! Someone who abused Mamata a lot during assembly elections just 4-5 months back has now joined her.

Big catch for Mamata nonetheless.

Centre Scales Down Babul Supriyo's Security Cover As He Joins Trinamool Congress: Report

New Delhi: The Union government has scaled down the armed security cover of central paramilitary commandos given to Babul Supriyo who left the BJP and joined the Trinamool Congress on Saturday, official sources said.

The cover has been reduced from the second-highest level of Z category to Y category, after an order was issued by the Union home ministry on Friday, news agency PTI reported.

The security cover given to VVIPs and high-risk personalities under the central scheme, ranges from the highest Z+ followed by Z, Y+, Y and X categories.

On the scaling down of Mr Supriyo's security category, the sources said that a recommendation in this context was made by central security and intelligence agencies.

Mr Supriyo (50), dropped as minister from the Narendra Modi cabinet in July, is being guarded by an armed contingent of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Amid Punjab Congress upheaval, Amarinder Singh meets Amit Shah in Delhi

The meeting comes amid speculation that he might join the BJP. Amarinder Singh was recently replaced by Charanjit Singh Channi as Punjab CM.

Amid the political upheaval in Punjab Congress and speculation about his future course of action, former chief minister and Congress leader Amarinder Singh on Wednesday visited the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.

The meeting comes amid speculations in political circles that Singh, who was recently replaced by Charanjit Singh Channi as Punjab CM, might join the BJP.

Shortly after the meeting, Amarinder Singh said that the two leaders discussed 'farm laws' in their meeting. "Met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Discussed prolonged farmers’ agitation against Farm Laws&urged him to resolve crisis urgently with the repeal of the laws and guarantee MSP, besides supporting Punjab in crop diversification," Singh's media advisor quoted him as saying.

However, Singh’s media adviser Raveen Thukral on Tuesday dismissed the speculations and said that the Congress leader was on a personal visit to the national capital.

“Too much being read into @capt_amarinder's visit to Delhi. He's on a personal visit, during which he'll meet some friends and also vacate Kapurthala house for the new CM. No need for any unnecessary speculation," tweeted Thukral.

This is former Punjab CM's first visit to the national capital after he resigned from the top post on September 18.

Amarinder Singh stepped down as Punjab CM amid a bitter power tussle with state's Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu.

After his unceremonious exit from the state government, Singh had indicated he was still keeping his political options open, saying that he will consult with his friends before taking decision on his future political move.

Today's meeting comes amid political tension in Congress' Punjab unit over Sidhu's resignation as chief of party's state unit.

Sidhu on Tuesday resigned as Punjab Congress chief, pushing the party into deep crisis ahead of Assembly election in the state next year.

Will Congress even be a party after 10 years?? Absolute disastrous moves in last 2 years.

Their inability to utilize multiple blunders of BJP shows how inefficient they have been.

Mamata's 1st message to supporters after record win, ‘If you want to celebrate’

Mamata Banerjee thanked Bhabanipur for the record that she made in the bypoll the results of which were declared on Sunday.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee addressed the supporters assembled outside her Bhabanipur residence and thanked them for the record-breaking numbers. If Trinamool supporters want to celebrate the victory, they should support the people of the flood-affected districts of the state, Banerjee said. "I will not show V because I am not winning alone. We are contesting from three seats. So I will show three fingers," Banerjee, who gets to retain her chief minister post after the resounding victory from the Bhabanipur assembly seat said.

"I have won the Bhabanipur Assembly bypolls with a margin of 58,832 votes and have registered the victory in every ward of the constituency," the chief minister said. According to the latest information, Mamata has won by 58,835 votes including the postal ballots.

I gracefully accept defeat, says BJP's Priyanka Tibrewal as Didi sets record

The Election Commission asked the government to make sure that there is no victory celebration anywhere in the state following BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal's letter to the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court, expressing apprehension over possible violence after the results are declared.

"... no victory celebrations/ procession during/after the counting shall be allowed in the ongoing elections in West Bengal, for which counting is being taken place on October 3, 2021," EC secretary Rakesh Kumar said in a letter to the West Bengal government.

Mamata said Bhabanipur residents are not all Bengalis. In fact, 46% of people in Bhabanipur are non-Bengalis. "They all have voted for me. People of West Bengal are watching Bhabanipur, which inspired me," she said adding that the victory is a befitting reply to the conspiracy that was hatched in Nandigram.

Bhabanipur was a prestige issue for the Trinamool and the chief minister as she had to win this seat to continue in the CM post, because of her defeat in the Nandigram seat, while her party recorded a landslide victory in the state assembly election.

Alappuzha, Kerala: Two violent deaths have rocked Kerala's Alappuzha in the last 10 hours with the killing of SDPI leader KS Shan followed by the murder of BJP leader Ranjeet Sreenivas, who was hacked to death in his house on Sunday.

Meanwhile, section 144 has been imposed in the Alappuzha district, said A Alexander, District Collector. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had condemned the two alleged murders in Alappuzha, the CMO said in a statement.

Sreenivas, the 40-year-old BJP leader, was hacked to death by unidentified attackers inside his house. He was the OBC Morcha Kerala state secretary and a member of the BJP state committee.

The attackers reportedly barged into the BJP leader's house and hacked him. Ranjeet was a BJP candidate in the 2016 assembly elections in the Alappuzha constituency. He was an advocate by profession.

Reacting to the killing of a BJP leader, Union Minister V Muralidharan today said that this is the handy work of an Islamic terrorist group. He also demanded strict action against those responsible for the crime.

"I've been told that State Secy of BJP OBC Morcha was stabbed to death, this morning. This is the handy work of Islamic terrorist group is the info coming from Alleppey (Alappuzha). I demand the State government to take strict action against perpetrators," he said.

This came hours after Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) leader KS Shan was killed by an unidentified gang in the district. Shan was reportedly attacked after a car rammed the bike he was traveling in at Mannancherry in Alappuzha.

He was rushed to a private hospital in Ernakulam but later succumbed to his injuries. Following the incident, the SDPI alleged the involvement of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh RSS in the killing of its state secretary KS Shaan.

"Today there was a murder attempt on Kerala SDPI state secretary KS Shaan by RSS goons. His condition is still critical. The Godi media is silent because Muslims Lives do not matter. Murders and attacks on PFI and SDPI cadres are conveniently ignored as it does not suit their agenda (sic)," tweeted Anis Ahmed, General Secretary of Popular Front of India (PFI).

With the BJP seemingly winning the Hindu narrative, the Congress is attempting to differentiate between the words – Hindu, Hinduism and Hindutva. And, now Rahul Gandhi has said India belongs to Hindus. :facepalm

Hindus believe every person's DNA is unique, Hindutvavadi says all Indians have same DNA: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi

Why all of sudden they they started Hindu Mantra? Only God knows who advised him to talk about Hindu and Hindutva.
This Buffoon Gandhi's should be kicked out from Congress.

Indian need better opposition, unfortunately not going to be happen.

Yet another shameful example of quid pro quo (or in simple terms 'Corruption') practiced by this fascist and corrupt regime.

This guy, who is no less than a joint director of a premier investigative agency and he gets ticket to contest on the next day he resigns from his official post.

But no, how can this regime be corrupt?

SC called CBI 'caged parrot' during Congress regime. Wonder what will it say about these 'investigative' agencies now?

Silly logic no? And I see this logic thrown around always...when you returning back to India :inti

We didnt leave India bcoz of political climate but due to our livelihood since our karmabhoomi is here. It has nothing to do with which political party we support back home. People can work and earn anywhere.

You were the one who said you and your friends something Modi means something much to you. So I was just asking when you would return to enjoy the Satya Yuga that Modiji has ushered in...

lol, all so-called NRIs will never give you straight answer as to why don't they come back to India if India is now being ruled by their god for 8 long years, with many more years to come. After all, true Ram Raj must have been established in India in so many years, no?

Put up this simple question to Napa many times but he has always been evasive!

Congratulations to AAP, hopefully they can deliver something because Bjp -Congress are going to spread rumors about them!

It will be the real challenge and litmus test for AAP. Lets face it...running Delhi is not really running a govt is it? Law and order, police everything is managed by Center there. So if any riots etc happens, Kejriwal can easily pass the buck to the central govt. And when some good things happen like Schools etc he takes credit. He even blamed Delhi pollution on neighbouring states.

But now they have no where to hide in Punjab, especially since its a border state which is always violent. Kejriwal can no longer shift the blame to centre. He needs to handle everything including Khalistani issues. Lets see how they goes about it.

Easiest way.

Comparing Terrorist outfit and wannabe separate country Khalistan with internal organisations..lol

You conveniently ignored many other religious groups like PFI, NDF who are more violent.

It's unfortunate that Bhakts, be it an ordinary Bhakt or a Cricketer turned Politician like Gambhir all are trying to defame the state of Punjab as if its some Afghanistan under Taliban where daily Indian Soldiers are being killed in operations. BJP's motto is simple, those who vote for us are Patriots and all others are Anti-Nationals, Traitors.

Punjab is actually a very peaceful State with zero riots and no lawless Gundagardi that happens in UP/Bihar.

I support BJP but don't like this propaganda against Non-BJP states.

On the night of May 2, 2021 when the TMC won Bengal, thousands were assaulted, raped, killed, and forced to flee their homes in retributive violence.

Tonight when the BJP has won UP, not a single incident of disturbance has been reported. Not one.

There are some reasons for that:

1. Few days back Rahul Gandhi accused BSF of acquiring Land in Punjab borders ?
For Congress & their ruling Prince BSF is an occupying force not Indian Army.

2. Khalistan Sponsored flags in Farmers protest and you saying zero Riots.

3. PM proposed event at Ferozepur in Punjab was cancelled , who did that?

4. Abuse of psychotropic drugs has been Punjab's scourge for over two decades. Who is responsible?

Punjab is border state, Law & Order and security is very important.

LOL i haven’t I’m just saying how everyone deals with the violent extremists within their party, why should AAP not follow same model as Modiji!

As a Pakistani AAP winning Punjab isn’t good from our perspective. Khalistan issue might not gather momentum it has gained in last couple of years. BJP Wins usually light up any little polarization and that’s what it may have done if they won Punjab.

That's what you get immediately after you vote for bigot and his acolytes.

But what do the so-called NRIs know about the plight of crores of Indian workers whose sole refuge for their post retirement days will be these savings.

All they do is to brag whenever their beloved feku gets votes on the basis of anything but development.

With overall interest rates for loans and everything at record lows for India, reduction in PF is expected and logical.

Lol why would Modi be blamed for China?

They attacked us and tried to infiltrate, got deserved treatment from our army and ran away, later their propaganda channel tried to hide the number of their soldier's death.

Modi's reign has been clean as a slate. Not a single mark of blemish that anyone can blame him for as of now. He has been the best PM India ever had by some distance.

Politicans mostly make mistake due to affiniation and personal attachments. For Nehru it was his family/dynasty and he worked only for their benefit. Modi has no one, no family...no attachments. So whatever he is doing...he is doing for the nation.

For the first time, India's exports crossed $400 billion.

India's exports surged by 37% from $292 billion in the year 2020-21 to $400 billion in the year 2021-22.

Explained | How India's exports crossed $400 billion for the first time ever

A massive rise in oil prices, across-the-board uptick in global prices of industrial commodities, a resurgent agri-sector and a higher share of manufactured goods are the main reasons behind India reaching the government's annual export target.

India has, for the first time, met the government's annual export target since 2014. The country crossed the crucial threshold of $400-billion annual merchandise export target.

“India set an ambitious goods export target of $400 billion and achieved it for the first time. I congratulate our farmers, weavers, MSMEs, manufacturers and exporters for this success," Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted.

Pointing out the target was achieved nine days ahead of schedule, Modi tweeted that this translated to $33 billion worth of exports every month, $1 billion of exports every day, and $ 46 million worth of exports every hour of the year.

The Commerce Department is expected to release further details later in the day, but available data shows that cumulative exports had grown by 45.8 percent in April-February FY22 (2021-22) as compared to the same period of FY20 (2019-20). Total exports stood at $374 billion till February, up from $256.5 billion in 2019-20. Only the last two months had seen an economic downturn, owing to COVID.

After a difficult FY21, marked by lockdowns and restrictions, exports had started rising at the end of the financial year. In the current financial year, they have risen every month till February. All major categories of exports have risen consistently. Moneycontrol takes a deep dive into India's export sector to see what went right.

Oil prices heating up

A global super-cycle kept commodity prices high across the board throughout 2021 and contributed massively to the $400-billion target being reached. Ironically, this came even as the Commerce Department has been aggressively trying to reduce the share of commodities in the overall export basket.

The Bloomberg Commodity Spot Index, which covers a broad basket of globally traded raw materials, has risen more than 45.6 percent over the past one year, and has shot past a high not seen since 2011.

The impact of rising commodity prices on India's exports is evident for India's single largest export item (processed petroleum), which alone has a 15 percent share in the country’s overall exports.

Processed petroleum exports doubled in the first 10 months of FY22 to $50.2 billion, up from $25.3 billion in FY21. This was due to the continuously rising price of crude oil, pushed up by uncertainties in the post-COVID world, demand spiking for oil, and, finally, the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Beginning the year at $64.8 per barrel, the price of Brent crude has now almost doubled to $115 per barrel.

Glittering Gems

Gems and jewellery, the second-largest export category for India, also saw a major rise in earnings. Overall, exports in this sector rose to an unprecedented $32 billion, representing almost 10 percent of India's exports.

Diamond exports rose to $20.7 billion in the first 10 months of FY22, up from $17 billion in FY21. Meanwhile, the export of jewellery -mainly studded with gold - rose to $9.2 billion, up from $6.5 billion a year ago.

In 2020, total global exports of the gems and jewellery industry amounted to $693 billion. With a share of 3.5 percent, India ranked 7th on the list. The Indian government has made this sector a focus area and set an ambitious target to double its share to 7 percent of global exports soon.

Industrial inputs fetch more

In the aftermath of COVID-19, a rise in the prices of key input materials, such as steel, chemicals and plastics, has helped India's exports recover.

Higher demand for steel, not only in developing markets but also in the developed world -- from Europe to the US -- meant that Indian exporters earned total foreign exchange worth $19.2 billion from iron and steel exports in the first 10 months of FY22, up from $12.1 billion in FY21.

“There has been a substantial jump in the export of primary steel in recent months while many value-added steel products shipped from the country have seen a 15-35 percent decline. We have, therefore, suggested the government to take non-tariff and tariff measures as part of the raw material export policy," said Engineering Exports Promotion Council India Chairman Mahesh Desai.

This came after prices of diverse products such as hot rolled steel coils, cement, and copper, rose by more than 30 percent in China, the largest consumer of metals and other construction products on earth.

The export of organic chemicals rose to $18 billion in April-January FY22, while plastic exports shot up to $7.5 billion and rubber exports to $3.7 billion.

According to global data and market intelligence provider IHS Markit, the spiraling inflation that began in early 2021 mainly due to a build-up of global supply chain issues due to the coronavirus pandemic and a lack of global freight containers, has not subsided. Instead, prices have continued to build on those levels as industries in many nations started firing up and widespread input shortages became evident subsequently.

Agri exports

India’s agriculture and allied exports have grown at a brisk 24 percent in the first 10 months of the current financial year. Exports were boosted by an increased access to markets in the US, European Union and the United Arab Emirates, and targeted efforts by the government to expand the global reach of processed food from India.

Commerce ministry data shows that exports of farm produce, both processed and unprocessed, climbed to $38.6 billion in April-January 2021-22, up from $31.16 billion. The government expects total exports from the sector to rise to $43 billion by March 2022. Data showed that while the global commodity supercycle played a part in raising the prices of non-food products, such as tea, cotton, and rubber, prices of food products have remained stable.

The growth in the export of farm produces was led by a sharp rise in the exports of non-basmati rice, cereals such as rice and wheat, dairy items and sugar, all of which grew by at least 40 percent in April-January 2021-22, according to the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), which tracks non-plantation crops.

Export of spices like ginger, pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric and saffron, which have therapeutic qualities, has also grown substantially. Meanwhile, the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) said that shrimp and prawn exports have already reached 88 percent of the total export value of last year.

A range of new products has also been shipped abroad for the first time in FY22. They include fresh vegetables and mangoes from Varanasi, black rice from Chandauli, oranges from Nagpur, bananas from Theni, bhoot jolokia chilli from Nagaland, red rice from Assam and millet from Himachal Pradesh, among others. The government has also significantly pushed exports of processed items such as honey, cocoa, fruit jams, and wine, in which India hasn’t shared global expertise till now.

India has now become the ninth-largest honey exporter in the world, shipping out 7.36 lakh tonnes in the previous financial year. The US is the largest buyer, at 80 percent.

Export basket diversifying

Policymakers have marked FY22 as the year when exports of high-value, finished goods took hold significantly. Since coming to power, the government has pushed labour-intensive manufacturing to simultaneously boost productivity, job creation and export.

After six years of trying to substitute industrial raw materials and agri-items with products that are higher up the value chain, India saw an increasingly diversified export basket.

Engineering items constituted the second-largest category in exports till October. According to the Engineering Exports Promotion Council, this was sustained by tapping into a broader network of market beyond Europe and North America. Finding cheaper sources of copper ore beyond Indonesia and Chile also helped keep primary prices low for both domestic items and export products.

Electronics exports also continued to maintain pace, registering $16.1 billion in FY22 (April-January). Pushed up by the performance-linked incentive scheme of the government, electronics exports have now crossed their earlier high of $15 billion in 2019-20, before the pandemic. Exports of mobile phones and components stood at $3.8 billion, similar to pre-pandemic levels.

Meanwhile, heavy machinery equipment stood at $20.5 billion and is expected to end the year above pre-pandemic levels.

Somehow the middle east has come way too close to India under BJP not sure why and Nepal a majority Hindu country opposite.

Inching towards self-reliance: India now makes 35 drug raw materials that were imported before

Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Mansukh Mandaviya says move will help India become self-reliant in manufacturing key drugs. Most raw materials were so far imported from China.

New Delhi: Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers Dr Mansukh Mandaviya has said that of the 53 drug raw materials for which India was dependent on imports, 35 are now being manufactured in India.

“Under the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme, 32 new plants for the production of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) have been set up and production has now started in 35 of the 53 identified APIs. Under the scheme, the government is providing viability gap funding to reduce dependence on imports,” Mandaviya told reporters in New Delhi.

About 66 per cent of India’s API imports come from China.

APIs, also known as bulk drugs, are the key raw material used for manufacturing medicines. For instance, paracetamol is the API for Crocin.

Indian drugmakers import around 70 per cent of their total bulk drugs from China. In the 2018-19 fiscal, the government had informed the Lok Sabha that the country’s firms imported bulk drugs and intermediates worth $2.4 billion from China.

Dependence on China

India’s dependence on China for the raw materials of its otherwise formidable pharmaceutical industry has been a matter of concern for many years. This has led to questions being asked about the bargaining power it gives Beijing against New Delhi.

These concerns gained urgency in the wake of the 2017 Doklam stand-off when bilateral relations hit a new low. The Covid lockdown in China in the first months of 2020, which stoked fears of a shortage in India, only made the clamour for API self-sufficiency louder, with the subsequent stand-off at Ladakh further complicating relations between the two neighbours.

A commerce ministry statement in 2021 said PLI schemes are a “cornerstone of the government’s push for achieving an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India)”.

“The objective is to make domestic manufacturing globally competitive and to create global champions in manufacturing. The strategy behind the schemes is to offer companies incentives for incremental sales from products manufactured in India, over the base year. They have been specifically designed to boost domestic manufacturing in sunrise and strategic sectors, curb cheaper imports and reduce import bills, improve the cost competitiveness of domestically manufactured goods, and enhance domestic capacity and exports,” the statement read.

Rs 15,000 cr provided so far

Under the PLI scheme for APIs, a financial incentive will be given to eligible manufacturers 41 eligible products, which cover 53 APIs, for a period of six years. Ministry sources say approximately Rs 15,000 crore has been spent under the scheme since it was notified last year.

Ministry sources also said that there was nothing unusual about the recently announced 10 per cent rise in the cost of essential medicines.

“Essential medicine prices are linked to the wholesale price index (WPI). If the WPI goes down, they can go down too. This year the WPI went up by 10 per cent, hence the revision, even though the price of APIs went up,” said a source.

Bengaluru techie hacks IndiGo website to get his lost bag, raises a scare over cyber security

Nandan Kumar, a software engineer by profession, recently proudly said that he hacked into IndiGo's official website because he lost his baggage. Yes, that's the reason he gave. The story may sound funny, but it isn't if you look deeper at it.

Kumar posted a Twitter thread explaining what really happened and how he managed to hack into IndiGo's website, one of the most popular airlines in the country, in just a few hours.

It all started while he was travelling from Patna to Bengaluru earlier this week and his baggage got exchanged with another passenger's luggage who had a similar-looking bag.

When Kumar realised that he brought the wrong bag home he contacted IndiGo's customer care but the airline wouldn't help him much. The customer care assured him to look into the matter and come up with a solution and call him back with an update in a few hours. But, Kumar, as he mentioned in the tweets, wasn't very convinced and decided to take the matter into his hands. He decided to hack into the official website of IndiGo to find the co-passenger's details like mobile number and address.

"Today morning I started digging into the IndiGo website trying the co passenger's PNR which was written on the bag tag in hope to get the address or number by trying different methods like check-in, edit booking, update contact, But no luck whatsoever," he wrote.

Kumar then dug deeper and managed to find the person's contact details, who in no way as related to him. "After all the failed attempts, my dev (developer) instinct kicked in and I pressed the F12 button on my computer keyboard and opened the developer console on the @IndiGo6E website and started the whole check in flow with network log record on," he said.

He then found one of the network responses where he found the passenger's contact including phone number and email ID. "And there in one of the network responses was the phone number and email I'd of my co-passenger. Ah, this was my low-key hacker moment and the ray of hope. I made note of the details and decided to call the person and try to get the bags swapped," he noted.

Huge cyber security risk
Though Kumar finally managed to get his bag and return the one he had to the co-passenger, there's a question that needs to be asked: What is going on with the cyber security of IndiGo?

Firstly, this isn't the first time that someone has lost their bag at the airport. Such situations happen and there are some processes to resolve them. Though the procedure is cumbersome, bypass it and hacking into the official website to find details of other passengers hardly seems a safe option.

It is also important to mention that Kumar was able to hack into the system because of certain bugs that allowed him to find the personal details of his co-passenger. So, that should be taken care of by the airline. With just PNR and name, Kumar managed to find the entire 'Itinerary' of that passenger on the website. It is probable that if he had details of other passengers travelling with him, he could have discovered their details like ticket price, flight timings, house address, mobile number, company name, email address, names of family and friends, and more.

This is scary! So much so that hackers can probably find out if you opted for a chicken sandwich or noodles during your in-flight lunch. On its part, IndiGo, though, has said that there is no glitch or leak of private details from its website.

In a statement posted on Twitter, the company said: "We at IndiGo, remain fully committed to consumer data privacy and industry benchmark cyber-security standards... our IT processes are completely robust and, at no point was the IndiGo website compromised. Any passenger can retrieve their booking details using PNR, last name, contact number, or email address from the website. This is the norm practiced across all airline systems globally".Live TV

People talking about Kerri blaming BJP, lol what about Modi blaming Nehru lol.
lol, that's because sanghis are clueless as ever. For them, Nehru who is now dead for close to 6 decades, is their go to man when it comes to hide their own gross incompetence.

And that after them enjoying unbridled power for 8 years now.

This is shameless even by sanghi standards. If motabhai has any shame, he should either resign himself (which his extremely thick skin won't permit) or sack CBI Director.

This is such blatant misuse of state machinery.

If CBI was termed as a caged parrot in Congress regime by SC what'll it say for CBI now?

LPG cost in India highest in world at PPP, Petrol 3rd, Diesel 8th highest at PPP.
CNG jumps Rs 9 in 6 days in NCR. Analysts: litre of petrol takes up 1/4 th of daily income of an average Indian. Inflation eats into saving, deflates demand hurts GDP. Sarkars must act.

With all tension going around in Pakistani politics, hopefully this video will lighten your mood. This guy apparently want to become the next PM of India :91:

And some 'Indians' are busy discussing Rahul Gandhi whom no one cares about, he means nothing in current Indian polity.

However just like their god feku, they need non issues to divert from real issues concerning actual Indians so that their god can get free pass like he is doing for last 8 years.

This video is a perfect example of BJP IT cell.

Pick bits and pieces of his lines from different rallies, slap some meme music, comedy dialogues from movie. That's how BJP IT cell have managed to inflitrate whatsapp and make this guy look like a clown.

Admittedly he's not the most powerful speaker but he's stood on the right side of things, be it warning about Covid when your premier was busy brown-nosing Trump or asking for government to help migrate labourers while Modi-Shah were hibernating or CAA/Farmers protests.

I could share 100s of video where Modi looks like a clown with meme music but that's not the point because he isn't a clown, he's a CM who has orchestrated a riot and a PM who is busy dividing India on hindu-muslim lines.

But please celebrate him as the next big thing.

You are unnecessarily getting worked up...I shared this video in a light hearted way. The music & comedy dialogues may be an addition but the speeches are actually of Rahul himself. And all of these are his latest 2022 masterpiece...not old ones like aloo se sona. These are latest releases from clown prince's joke factory...so I thought of sharing to uplift everyone's mood. Also, pls share Modi's funny dialogues as well...we don't mind.

he's stood on the right side of things,

How you do you see his recent statements/views:

1. "Indian Army illegally occupying land in border villages of Punjab"? lol

2. Rahul Gandhi’s claim that India is not a nation but a “union of states” is deeply problematic and dangerous.

3. And this clown saying India has headed the Sri Lankan way , he have no idea about Food inflation (5% India, 35% Sri Lanka), seems like he is wishing for crisis in India.

There you go referring to another doctored clip which was cut short.

He referred to Modi talking about aloo se sona, but clip was cut to make it seem like RG said he will make sona from aloo.

Like I said BJP IT cell is strong at work and they've done a brilliant job at brain-washing lot of you.
