Awesome!!!

Guys who you think PTI will nominate as President? who would be your choice?

My choices would be. Mumtaz Bhutto or Zafarullah Jamali.

:))

This whole situation with JKT and his jet makes me laugh now.

Hahaha.

Bro you might see a jet soon outside your house soon.

Bro ask no questions just jump in!! :)

So Dasti launched his own party with the symbol Jhaaru and ended up losing every seat?

Guys who you think PTI will nominate as President? who would be your choice?

My choices would be. Mumtaz Bhutto or Zafarullah Jamali.

Apparanlt Mumtaz Bhutto was summoned to Bani Gala yesterday. Expecting him to either be announced as Governor Sindh or PTIs Presidential candidate.

Railway Minister?

Interior ministry as I've already mentioned. I am quite confident Imran will offer this to him and it's a good idea as nobody in PTI apart from Imran is strong enough to handle interior ministry.

Do you think Parvez Elahi will do a good job as interior minister?

But the forthcoming NAB appearance in a few weeks for Pervez and Shujahat might mean Pervez himself won't be offered any position.

We should try to make him settle for less, as he have NAB cases against him as well so not a good choice at all for Interior Minister.

So PTI wins NA248 which is great, Karachi keeps getting better :)

PP46 Independent Pir Saeed ul Hasan also joins PTI.

Chance of forming government in Punjab getting much better now.

Tareen ko to banda bazar dahi lene be bheje to raste se 2 candidate sath paker lata he :yk

Yup, NA-248 has been confirmed now. This is awesome, PTI need to really repay Karachi for this, they would not be in the position to form government without Karachi's 15 seats.

The best thing to come out of this is that rather than having Punjab electables in government, we have genuine workers like Najeeb Haroon from Karachi. This is a MUCH better result for PTI in the long term.

Well if he can do a good job, then he should be considered for the role!

Exactly. As long as it is not CM Punjab then I'm happy. And remember he has a NAB appearance soon so this could make Imran not give him a position but Imran will give some people from Parvez's party positions.

Awesome job. Despite everything he's tough and I mean tough.

Even Hamza Shabaz would get scared during phone conversations with Parvez Elahi.

Damn, didn't know this. Doesn't appear to be that tough on the outside.

Going by what you're saying that he is tough, they should give it to him. Only thing is the NAB cases.

The whole media and opposition will go against you if you make someone with NAB cases your interior minister.

They have a NAB appearance in two weeks. If they are cleared within the next 4 weeks then Imran could name him interior minister later and take interior minister decisions himself before then.

Damn, didn't know this. Doesn't appear to be that tough on the outside.

When Sharif family was in exile at that time only Hamza stayed in Pakistan to handle businesses and at that time Ch Shujat and Pervez Elahi really helped him that's how he survived the Mush era.

Yes.

Don't be fooled with Parvez and Shujahat going silent and retreating over the last 5 years. They are tough and very powerful.

Even Zardari would personally visit these two at their home.

PMLQ might not be big in numbers but nobody is as tough in Punjab than Parvez and Shujahat.

Mian Azhar is probably the most humble politician compared to Chaudheries and Sharifs and he was betrayed by both!

Anyone feel like going to D-Chowk if IK oath taking ceremony happens there in the public?

And i think Shahid Khattak MNA Karrak became the youngest MNA to win.

This guy belongs to a very poor family, he didn't even had any money to run his campaign. People of his district helped him alot by collecting (Chanda) for him in order to run his campaign.

And Alhamdulillah he merged as a victorious.

This happened in NA91 i think during recount PTI was winning and PMLN losing? Confirm result to be announced tomorrow

Yes, i think Ali Khan Cheema PTI was winning clearly and then Noon league people started Gull but stuff, they tore some papers and created a havoc ( as far i know ). Even FIR has been lodged against them.

Exactly Shahid was from ISF even our Dir candidate was a poor guy and one of our candidate from fata use to be a chaiwala in Rawalpindi.

I am still in shock how we ended up losing the whole Sargodha not a single NA seat while won 5 PP seats there? Even the number of votes for both parties in Sargodha are not much different. We were fav in Sargodha before 25th

Surprised because the biggest celebrity of the country who is also from Sargodha was supporting PTI... :) Must be rigged , I'm thinking.

You mean Professor is more popular in Sargodha then Peer Sialvi? We had both Sialvi and Professor on board :(

Good news. We need to play their game at the start, then start the reform process and then wipe them out with good governance.

And should make a forward block within PMLN to help us by remaining absent whenever we need them.

"Electables" turned out to be not so electable.

This proves that you don't necessarly need electables to win. If you have a vision that resonates with the people, and if you can deliver your message well, then you have a chance to win, though it will be a decade long struggle!

This guys turned out to be seriously good! They got nationwide projections right, KPK was right, Sindh was right, Punjab was only slightly off. The only place they went wrong was Karachi.

Karachi surprised them, as did FATA. Their seat projection was also well off. I think they were overly pessimistic about Central Punjab too, but overall their methodology seemed to be very good.

Breaking News:

Imran Khan will not give any position to anyone in his party that has pending NAB appearances or investigations.

100% confirmed.

Seat projection is honestly very hit and miss as there is no method that can accurately predict seats in a FPTP system. The most important thing was their popular vote projection.

With regards to Karachi, they actually showed MQM falling and PTI rising between their final and second to last poll. Had they done another poll during the last 3 days before election day, we may have seen PTI surge in their poll. I think PTI's final week campaigning had a profound effect in Karachi.

I am hearing cases of MQM voters switching to PTI at the last moment, not because they hate MQM, but because they are willing to risk giving another party a shot at solving their problems.

A good principle stance in theory but I think PTI will lose Punjab Assembly in process.

Sensible decision. But he needs to ask NAB to make up their minds quickly. Either charge or dismiss. The Aleem Khan case dates back 10 years.

I agree it is more difficult in FPTP systems ,but places like the UK and the US have fairly reliable seat projections. It is obviously it is very expensive and time consuming and requires a lot of exit polls.

Agree with what you have said re Karachi. They have also given a similar explanation on twitter:

Karachi was always going to be hard to accurately poll. That is true, many Karachiites would respond MQM out of fear that the person asking is from the MQM. While MQM militancy and bhata khori is no more, the memories are still there. Even my father, despite knowing that things have changed, was really shocked when people from Azizabad openly said they voted for PTI on TV.

In last 40 years we always had Urdu speaking governor while sindhi CM so i dont think Khan is going to change it

According to reports we lost NA91 by 44 votes? Some of the fights were too close in this GE

Karachites voted to have power devolved down to the mayor, so Karachi can sort out its issues.

The symbolism of an actual Bhutto pitted against a Zardari has its uses, even though the governor is merely ceremonial.

Just goes to show how things are changing (for the better).

Whatever else he achieves as PM, educating the public on their right to challenge the status quo and politicians may well be Imran's greatest legacy (as well as educating the public about the importance of building institutions, human development and the rule of law etc).

PMLN know once this process starts it will be difficult to stop which is why they are so desperate to hold on to Punjab.

Nazir Jutt family cost us 2 NA and 3 PP seats  thanks to their greed resulting in a 3 way fight
