Politics - Pakistani 2018 General Election and post-election discussion

Which will be the top party after the upcoming general elections?

 • Total voters

From my sources in Karachi, turnout is looking good, PTI polling agents are very organised and in high numbers, polling going smoothly, and PTI looking strong on the ground.

Big contrast from 2013.

From all the na 247 defence polling stations that my cousins and family went to vote ppp seemed to have a higher crowd out with the pti burger crowd still sleeping if PTI loses this seat it will be because of Alvi as he has lost pti a lot of support.

LOL one of my khalas is voting for TLP :))) But apart from that it's all PTI.

Some people will never learn man!

Wait, what? TLP? :))

I get the MQM thing, even I voted them for the PS seat (IMRAN KHAN FOR NA-243 THOUGH) , the guy from our area is very, very good.

Btw, lol @ Mustafa Kamal who said recently that Chief Minister of Sindh will be from his party. Literally no one is voting him

I actually have a fried who's voting Noon League because Zardari isn't in jail. Some people have mental issues

Well done to the guys who have already voted, great to see that you made the effort and early as well.

Good news coming from everywhere except some idiots in Swabi killing PTI supporter (2 still in hospital).

Some reporting low turnout others high which is quite normal i guess.

Best to go early, getting up early saves you hours of waiting. Took me 15 minutes to vote, will take people going around 12 an hour to vote

Yeah, I've given up on convincing such people lol

Lol, I don't get voting for TLP, or even someone like Jibran. Fringe parties that aren't even aiming to be in government. You vote for a change. Idealists are idiots, for example, people who'll vote Jibran and split the vote, or people who'll vote for MMA or TLP when the competition is MQM and PTI in some areas.

The one seat I know for sure MQM will win is the Amir Liaquat one. Literally the worst candidate they could have, I know PTI supporters who won't vote him :))

Surprised to see Karachi and Islamabad walas waking up early to vote :yk aap se yeh umeed nae thi wese :P

Good on you!

Khalai gadha from Faisalabad (my beloved city) Abid Sher Ali performing "vote ko izzat dou" act in female polling stations. These guys use JAMHOORIAT as a tool to come to power otherwise don't understand ABC of democracy.

I don't either lol. Younis Khan also voting for MMA.

It's strange and makes no sense.

Yes, he is accusing female polling officer of Rigging and he has stopped the election process as well.

Dont know why Army is not kicking his back....

One little speech from my mother at 7 am in the morning changed my perception.

She said:

“You spend all day convincing people not to vote for PTI, and I agree that maybe Imran will not turn out to be what he has promised, but at least you won’t live with the guilt that you did not make one last attempt to change the fate of Pakistan.

What is the worst that can happen? He will be as incompetent as the rest, but this is now or never type situation for Imran Khan, and although I am not healthy enough to go and vote, I want you to go and vote for PTI”.

:salute:

Btw, does your mom know you post on PP, or do you actually convince people not to vote for PTI in person too?

How come everybody else saying the same thing on the forum didn't make an impact? :91:

Voted for PTI, on my way back now.

I'm very happy to hear this.

We all want a better Pakistan and you have your grievances (judging from your posts) and I respect that but please remember that a PTI government may not be perfect but it will be a step in the right direction.

Mamoon, as you know, Pakistan is in a unique situation and small steps in the right direction will lead to a big future.

In your heart you know that Imran will do his best for Pakistan. He may not get everything done but he will be better than those that looted Pakistan for years.

Thanks for giving him a chance today.

Thank you. More respect for your mother and you too as you obeyed her orders.
Best wishes for her health.

Dekho Beta, You spend all day convincing people it's a fluke, and I agree that maybe we won't win the WC, but at least you won’t live with the guilt that you did not make one last attempt to support of Pakistan.

Hope there are more Mamoon s and Mamoon's mothers across the country, may give PTI an absolute majority. :yk

Of course I will support Pakistan, but as always I will keep my hopes low.

My village is in Nowshehra but I live in Peshawar.

Then i can understand why you don't know anything about Peshawar, KPK performance there and well you also dont know much about your own Nowshera too.

Anyways, good decision by you and now i hope you will stop supporting Corrupt and especially Drug Dealers.

Mamoon wror, post of the week! :afridi

Words of Imran Khan " I dont say vote for PTI, vote for any party whom you like, but you all must vote"

Now compare his words to people like Shahbaz / Saad Rafique and it will show the difference between mentality level.
