40 percent done... PTI looking good for national! how much do we need for punjab?

I don't want any claim of "dhandli" to ruin this victory. The results accurately reflect the general sentiment of the broader public. I can't think of any relative close or in broader circles who voted for PMLN.

If this carries on, PTI will end up surely with 120 seats or more.

Any karachicite about Karachi.

This genuinely reflects the ground situation to be honest. Everyone I know have been telling me that PTI will give a huge surprise in Karachi, but I didn't really believe it. MQM have not campaigned much at all, their votebank is split, and PTI have natural support + they campaigned well in the last month. Should have seen it coming honestly.

Looks like all those talks of PTI and MQM forming a coalition were pointless. PTI just swept in and grabbed what was left of MQM. :))

inshaAllah we will but I hope no one takes offense in stuff I say. I am not making any predictions just want the final results and am really emotionally unstable right now. We are so close... !!!
Bhai don't worry agar Allah chahe ga tou InshaAllah jeet PTI ki hogi.

Say what you want about Amir Liaqat but this guy just pulled of a big victory and IK's decision turned out to be correct.

PTI has DONE A CLEAN SWEEP IN KP PROVINCIAL.

So now they can govern KP even more comfortably than before.

The only disappointing news is that PMLN will form Punjab assembly and Shabaz Sharif will be CM again.

Kamran Khan suddenly changing his tone... maybe he realizes his lifafas will stop now

You did not tell me . How much pti can grab.

I think we are close in the Punjab PA, 131 vs 124..need to add Q league as well.

Can we form Punjab PA with independents?

You know, we don't like to think that things will change, but the signs were there.

MQM's entire campaigning machinery was with PSP, a third class party that even with all that establishment support (And yes, it was establishment support), is not in the top three anywhere. MQM could not and did not campaign.

North Nazimabad was expected, even NA-243 was expected, it's NA-244 which is surprising, but when you look at it overall, it's not.

MQM had zero machinery. All of it is in PSP. MQM could not campaign.

I would not expect PTI to keep all these seats in a byelection, or in 2023, unless they do very well.

People were annoyed with MQM and that's why MMA got votes too.

However, one thing is for sure. Like I've said a few times in this thread, even when PSP were leading in a couple of seats, everyone hates Mustafa Kamal. MQM minus Altaf still has a future. PSP has no future.

Jibran Nasir made so much fun of PTI's lack of work in Karachi. Hope he got his answer

Jibran Nasir had no chance in Karachi.

That said, MQM with PSP's campaigning machinery would have definitely split the seats more.

Karachi

I think they will learn from this disastrous experience, should improve from here onwards.

Im afraid people never learn if they are handpicked. They need to come through a process .. almost everyone in sensitive positions in Pakistan are handpicked. This needs to change ASAP.

I'll agree with this, but a lot positions are handpicked like this here as well. But ECP position should not be handpicked. Let's hope PTI can change this.

Don't think Jibran won his PS ticket either. I talked to polling agents from NA-247, they are saying Imran Ismail won.

All our hopes are pinned on the great Khan. This guy is undoubtedly a born winner..

Dawn estimates 111/63 NA seats for PTI/PML N respectively, Geo 112/64 and Samaa 121/46.

Just spoke to someone who knows Abdul Shakoor Shaad. PTI have a 5k lead on 75% of NA-246 Lyari polling stations, really good chances that we won Lyari ....

He had 253 votes in 2013 I expect it to be 1k+ this year many of his supporters have voted for PTI as it would be a wasted vote.

Yeh I know he had 250 odd, it would immensely funny if he got less votes than in 2013 despite the disproportionate media promotion by the likes of dawn.

Riding the coat tails of IK and playing to western galleries. Someone tell him that the world has changed, road to Islamabad no longer passes through Washington.

I was really wondering about seeing his popularity on social media, I know it's easy sometimes to win elections in Pakistan if u are in the right at the right time but this easy... never !!!!!

Huge qualifier on the Samaa 242-249 thing. NA243 and NA 244 are around 15-20%. That could change a lot, this is a huge area, with many different areas.
