Dunya JUST reported rana sanuallah lost now saying he is in lead. pointless coverage if they will just lie

One thing that has made me most proud of in this thread is the way posters have address PTI as "we", "us", "We are leading", "We are trailing", "We need another" e.t.c. The people and the nation have really taken ownership of the party and its cause

I never notice sticky threads on time pass, was wondering why there is no discussion on elections :)) congrats to all posters, for IK ll probably take charge.

Dunya showing PTI now have 131 Punjab PA seats vs. PMLNs 124...really hope this is correct

You might be reading it wrong. They're actually showing it as PLMN 131 and PTI 124. Actually i take it back. I'm wrong.

Also remember, only 270 seats were contested. There are two constituencies where elections got postponed, and I think both are PTI seats.

So 137 can be reached by just including the independents ?

I think so. I think we will need even less than 137 to form government because Imran Khan has to give up 4 seats, SMQ has to give up one, etc. After giving up seats, for example if 5 seats are given up + you consider the 2 missing seats, there would be 265 present members in the house. Therefore, 133 seats needed. PTI would have 114 (assuming they win 119 now), and there are 19 independents. So, we would get to exactly 133 with independents, and then we would add Sheikh Rashid to take it to 134.

I think yes, if PTI bags 115 in the end then they most probably won't need any of the bigger and tainted parties to form a coalition. IND + Sheikh Rahseed + PML (Q) would be enough.

Is this worrisome ? hussain.r97

It's not worrisome unless we are getting cut down to less than 110 seats. PML-N getting 70 seats is honestly a bit of a long shot, most channels have them on 60 right now. They would have to win all the remaining close contests, and also make a few comebacks to get to 70.

272 na seats without the reserves so a party needs 137 in their favor to form govt in majority.... then the reserved seats are dished out to parties in accordance to their seat margins...

the 149 (with reserve seats now) number is to be mantained once in power, if u fall below that then u get a vote of no confidence and re-elections...

Now they are showing the opposite. I believe the right one is PLMN 131 and PTI 124.

Whatever happens the election commission of Pakistan has to be totally revamped as it's not fit for purpose.

Shafqat Mehmood has retained his seat. 2nd Win for PTI in Lahore. No idea whats going in with Imran and Dr.Yasmin Halka.

on Samaa they are just showing 48% of results but looks like Imran is going to win by Clear margin.

We must pay a special tribute to Karachi.

NOBODY THOUGHT THAT PTI WOULD HAVE PERFORMED SO WELL IN KARACHI.

:ishant :ishant :ishant

Yahan mujhse ek din mushkil se bardasht ho raha hai, aapne toh poore maheena hi de diya ek saath!!

Stop worrying about bye elections. It will have little to no bearing in the overall picture.

PTI is on course for a resounding victory. That's all you need to know and be excited about.

A new Pakistan is upon us.
