A very telling thing has occurred in today's Shabaz Sharif face saving press conference. His aide was caught on camera telling him to thank Bilawal for his comments yesterday in which he defended the noon league demonstraters.

Only PPP can save PMLN now, particularly in terms of passing bills in parliament to try and reverse some decisions and to get rid of NAB. Of course this has mainly happened as the noose is tightening around Zardari's neck.

Now it is incredibly important that Imran gets to that 100 figure in a few days time. Nothing less will do.

Otherwise a PPP and PNLN government will form albeit for the first year or so. During that year they will eliminate or weaken NAB and start their policy reversal programme.

Ya Allah please don't let that happen.

Asif Ali Zardari will be best choice for coalition govt PM, says Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari believes his father former president Asif Ali Zardari is the ‘best choice’ for prime minister if a coalition government is formed following the July 25 election.

“He [Zardari] has experience managing a coalition government and not just managing but he was the first civilian president to complete his term and the coalition government was also the first to complete its full-term,” Bilawal said during an interview with Saleem Safi on Geo News’ programme Jirga.

The PPP chairman added that the coalition government which was led by his party had achieved historic feats. “It passed the 18th amendment, NFC award, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, devolution of powers, investment in CPEC and local economies, social protection programmes, labour, human and agricultural rights.”

When asked why he would not be the prime minister if there was a coalition government, Bilawal responded that he was 100 per cent ready for this responsibility.

“PPP has ideological differences with the PML-N and PTI. I think that whoever can implement our manifesto and assure us that the NFC award will be implemented and there will be no compromise on the 18th amendment, then we can work with them.”

Bilawal stressed that the best situation would be for the coalition government to be led by the PPP.

Respoinding to a question, the PPP leader said that he has to finish the mission of her late mother.

"We took out 0.8 million people from the poverty," he claimed. "Bhutto's nationalism benefitted poor."

The PPP Chairman said that PTI chairman changed his mind on Senate Chairman nominee two days before the polls.

He said that his party has ideological differences with PML-N and PTI, adding that both the rival parties share ideas on economy and terrorism.

"Pak-Iran gas pipeline project was the result of good foreign policies of PPP. The former premier should have taken parliament into confidence over foreign policy decisions," he added.

Your manifesto is unworkable Bilawal sahib..why doesnt anybody ask him a direct question about his manifesto?? its just unworkable!!

PPP will barely manage more than 20-30 seats and that too just from interior Sindh but they talk as if they are on their way to 80-100 seats.

A PPP or PMLN government or a coalition government between these two will be a huge endorsement for corruption..

It’s unthinkable and the people will only have themselves to blame.

looks like he dont know anything about his father. once the election will end, his father will fly to dubai from first flight. Zardari is no NS.

Do people here seriously think PTI is going to win a majority?

Coalition will be made through PPP at the end of the day. Now whether it will be PMLN or PTI lets see.

Humane? I hope Raza Rumi was alive and his TV was working when all of us saw Hazara community sitting with dead bodies in winters because nobody was listening to them and nobody from govt was in mood to go and talk with them. PPP was ruling in Federal and Balochistan and even at that time Bilawal was the co Chairman. Some of these desi liberals have really short term memories.

For them, words talk louder than actions.

The best outcome outside a PTI majority is a govt of the corrupt bringing together Nooras and the Zardari league. Just imagine how their supporters faces would look esp with IMF around the corner.

If Army can look the other when Nawas rigged the election then what make you think Army can’t help IK win majority.

I hope for the sake of Pakistan Army does it.

I don't see PTI making government with PPP, the only chance i see is PTI demanding Zardari to be sidelined and accept Bilawal (not as PM but coalition partner).

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari wants a new charter of democracy

Its clear as day what is happening. Their last 'charter' was a joke as well, this one will seek to allow corruption and other nonsense. Similar to the new laws they tried to pass to legitimatize corruption before the convict was convicted. PTI will obviously not sign anything that PPP and PMLN will. The latter two will then label this election illegitimate and point out how PTI isn't for democracy.

The corrupt elite and their daddies outside Pakistan who can see their power finishing forever are screaming more than ever.
