Predict the best 3 batsmen, bowlers and wicket-keepers of PSL 2020

So with the PSL 5 just around the corner I was thinking we should may be look ahead with less than 28 days to go.

Most teams have looked like they have done a lot of homework beforehand with PSL for the first time being completely staged in Pakistan a whole lot of young talent and exciting players in the mix.

So as the title then suggest I thought we could potentially create a thread and see which players are going to entertain us throughout the coming PSL so therefore inserted a Category each.

So my predictions are (not ranked in any order, jus the top 3 I assume)

A little premature I feel. His pace and exuberance will shock many I feel. With him being paired with Hasnain is also better for their development as I feel Shaheen, Haris or even Usman are different characters and seem more mature or aware.

We are greatly dependent on him, but I feel that this will be the edition where the legend of Kamran Akmal will finally fail to deliver for Zalmi. Age will probably catch up to him this time.

Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz?

Hasan Ali I have huge doubts after his injury. Let’s see but what I’ve seen of him in home conditions is very ordinary. Every time I see Asif Ali and that final.

Wahab is now 34 is has to perform and when he stops he will become irrelevant so is the sport now especially for fast bowlers. I see him in our top just wanted to bank on a youngster in Naseem so to say. And with Amir Shaheen naseem in English test matches seems still a mouth watering prospect no?

PSL was the sole reason Pakistan won the Champions Trophy in 2017.

Let's hope this version of PSL uncovers a batsman - preferably 2. And a top quality spinner. Thats what we need. The pace bowling department appears well stocked. We need a couple of real quality batsman, a leg spinner (Shadab looks to have receded and looks overweight alarmingly), and a left arm spinner. A mystery spinner would be amazing.

They're the only ones capable of giving us quick starts & acceleration against fast bowling at World T20.

We are in dire trouble if we are relying on the Akmals and Sharjeel. The Akmals should be kept at arms length. TTFs of the highest order and nasty, corrupt individuals.

We need a couple of new young batters desperately.

To be honest I think we can’t give took her importance to PSL debutants unless
They the world up. That’s in terms of selection for Pakistan straight after one good season.

Haris wasn’t given that treatment and gradually had to make his way up which he did.

Don’t think the way it’s going on we will see the current bunch of domestic bullies. Gotta pick the best out of them unless unknown players who expats don’t really hear or know off make a mark.

So how have our predictions aged during this tournament?

To be honest the surprises for me this tournament were how much runs Shadab made, but the stand out has to be Haider Ali scoring so much runs at the rate as well along with Babar of course being the master blaster all season.

Amongst the batsmen most seem
To common names like Kami, Hafeez, Malik scored all around 250 runs in the league stage at a SR of 135 I say so quite good but nothing out standing really what would be asked from them. Other batsmen who have exceeded out the likes of Shan Masood who has grown a lot in stature with around 230 runs also at a decent rate. At the top other names like Fakhar, Sharjeel who both have come some form
Later on in this PSL V scoring vital runs for their teams, Sohail Akhtar has been a good leader having to lead a very confused management team it always seemed to his credit has been a maintay and rightly named captain. Is also a batsmen to look out for.

Other than the Top order batsmen I think Azam Khan, Zeeshan Ashraf and Kushiro
In the last game showed great power hitting where Asif Ali seemed to have lost it.

In the bowling department for me Amir throughout the tournament showed fire for being dropped from the team with great figures taking 10 odd wickets. Hasnain has his fair share of wickets but seems to need to play a few more matches to get to where Shaheen already is may be it is discipline of test cricket that Naseem also seems to have but over all I have not seen any new faces apart from the young seamers Amir and Akif tbh. Haris Rauf had a injury but on these flag decks him and Shinwari are helpless they get flicked for six.

Hassan Ali has been outshown by Rahat in the Zalmi ranks and Irfan along with Sohail have shown how valuable they still are with their experiences. Out of the spinners Imad has tried to keep the RR low at times but all The mystery has been missed by spinners. Imran Tahir, samit Patel and moeen Ali at times have Been decent where as Shadab has been good in patches. Umer Khan looked weak in bowling and Qadir didn’t really get a chance.
From the bowlers I’d say we need Amir, Naseem, Shaheen, Wahab and Hasnain.
