Why is why I said maybe not in this series. Nonetheless, people should be ready for an Asia Cup style reality check.

On paper we are a stronger team but knowing our players, we might find a way to bottle this as well
 
Dunno why people are caring about t20is when there is a world cup in 5 months.
Plus t20is are just for fun, just to attract kids. Even if we lose, we shouldn't take it seriously.
Odis and tests were important but we lost those were the only important formats.
 
Pakistan 2-1. I really believe we can win this series.

2-1 for Pakistan. If Bobby improves his SR in T20s like he did in tests and ODIs on this tour, it's 3-0 Pakistan
 
Bookies are calling SA as favourites to win the series and according to them Sa will most likely beat Pak 2-1 and there is a high chance it would be 3-0 to sa.
Can someone explain to me why??
 
Im slightly doubtful as SA will come strong, plus Saifi not playing as Captain might backfire, as we are the best team in T20s under him. Lets see

What about the law of average though?
 
Pakistan to win this either 3-0 or 2-1. I don't see SA winning this series. They aren't a good T20 team without ABD.

You can mark my posts if you want. As I said, I am not saying that it is necessarily going to happen in this series - my point is that it is only a matter of time before our thumped Asia Cup style and people wake up to the reality that this is far from the best T20I side in the world.

The T20I bubble will eventually burst not because of Law of Averages but because this team is nowhere near as good as people think. This artificial streak is built on a combination of luck and weak opposition. A series with India today will expose our true worth.

Beating nz in nz 2-1 is an achievement we became no.1 because of that.
Also if pakistan can win this series 2-1 that will prove we are the no.1 team. One reason being that india beat the same team 2-1 last year. Also ab wasn't in the SA t20i team last year either.
 
Seems South Africa at the moment but you never know Pakistan.
 
Said it before that nie Sarfraz is out we might lose t20 series in which we had 100℅ series win record under him.

This series is a dream scenario for Sarfraz fans. If we lose the series, they can always claim that had Sarfraz captained the side, he would have ensured that we remain unbeaten.

However, If we win the series, they will give credit to him for building this side over the last 3 years.

Let me say it again, the only reason why we are "unbeaten" is because we haven't played India since 2016, who are the real number one T20 team in the world.

Compare their XI to ours man to man and even the most ardent Sarfraz fans will not be able to say with a straight face that we can compete with them, let alone be better than them. Our ranking is a complete farce.

And u r gonna have to keep moaning about this for a long time because we are miles clear at number 1!!

I don't care if we had only played SL or WI 30 times and won 27, that would still be a mind boggling achievement, given the nature of T20 where 1 man can change a game

Mamoon was right as usual. The fans here need a reality check and we need to groom right players instead of bits and pieces type players.

I am not saying anyone is particularly right or wrong here but to those who are marveling at the amazing predictive powers of Mamoon, should try to fixate on using their cerebral cortex instead of marveling at powers of a certain astronomer.

If you predict doomsday and death and finished every single day and every single time, there will always be a time when your prediction will come right.

Even a broken clock is right 2 times a day.

So it's not astonishing stuff at all.
 
Ranking T20 sides should be stopped. Most of the teams nowadays take T20 to experiment and blood young players to expose them to international standards to rate their consistency and ability to stand pressure because T20 leagues don't have same pressure and standards. Pakistan and WI continues to take this format too seriously and field not only full team but also oldies above 35 years resulting in aberrations in their own abilities and results in imbalance in their ODI and test teams. They need to rethink their policies.
