Well played boys - we had to be really careful here. Instead of 2-0, had they pressed for baseball like scorecard, who knows may be agent Ole could have lost his wheel here. He is doing a fantastic job there - long may it continue. Amen.

I don't watch much football nowadays but this must be what it felt like in the late 1970s/1980s.

I think this is without precedence even going that far. I'm sure any time Liverpool won those titles it was far more competitive.

Tonight's results

Aston Villa 2 Watford 1

Bournemouth 3 Brighton 1

Crystal Palace 0 Southampton 2

Everton 2 Newcastle 2

Sheff Utd 0 Man City 1

Chelsea 2 Arsenal 2

United have GOT to win the next 3 PREM games.
Burnley and wolves at home and then Chelsea away.
Absolutely huge games and 3 wins makes us favourite for a top 4 spot.

Ole needs to put the gauntlet down to the players, and urge them to grab this opportunity.

Huge 3 weeks coming up

We will need an attacker and AM, with rashford out, james looks like hes burnt out, martial is inconsistant and we cant rely on mason. but will be a big couple months for ole.

Even without rashford and a semi interested martial we can beat Burnley and wolves with a solid base.
I would start with mason greenwood tonight giving martial a rocket for pre wolves game.
Mctominay will be back for the Chelsea game.

I'm not looking at the next couple of months, just these 3 games. Win and it will do wonders for confidence. We just need to find a way.

*** just happened PetroDollars I'm well confused.
I see some good signs and then a load of tosh. 1 step forward , 2 steps back.
We still have a chance for top 4..what to do?

Burnley's first win at Old Trafford since 1962! United in danger of no longer being able to challenge for the top four never mind vying for the Title.

i told you, martial is to inconsistant, you never know when hes on or off and here he was completly off, we struggle to break down teams but when you do get the odd chance you need to take it and he and mata fluffed there lines, you cant win if you cant score, without rashford i dont think any of them can.

The red machine marches on.

2-1 away win at Wolves.

Battle of the best two managers in EPL, won by the better one. But Nuno Santo has a brilliant career in front - I believe he’ll manage at least one of the two Spanish giants, Liverpool, MU, Bayern or Juve in his career. Not may team can compete with this Liverpool ball by ball and they did it in Liverpool’s game - playing attacking soccer.

I think, it’s confirmed now - we’ll be EPL champs. There are enough easy points left to take the league out of Mansoor’s oil money.

LFC's remarkable season continues with a 2-0 win at West Ham.

19 points clear! :klopp

We didn't play well at all in the first half but were brilliant for most of the second half. West Ham had some very good chances but the worlds best keeper was immense again.

What a team this is !

Just brushed the Hammers aside without needing to get in to second gear. We win in automatic mode now such is the attitude Klopp has bought to the club. "And now you're gonna believe us and now you're gonna believe us and now you're gonna believe usssss! We're gonna win the league!"

Big question is can we do another "invincible" by going the entire season unbeaten?

Mourinho wanted a Red Card for Sterling but didnt happen!

Spurs 0-0 Man City

Just four behind Chelsea now. The Feb 22 game against Chelsea will be crucial.

Just a matter of time now before the mighty Liverpool bring it home now. In Norwich, West Ham and Watford we have relatively easy matches coming up after the break. Has been a good week with Man U, Man City, Spurs, Arsenal Leicester and Chelsea all drawing.

Title could be sealed vs Crystal Palace on 21st March.

Fans who behave in an "unacceptable" manner towards players, supporters, club employees or referees will face a Premier League-wide ban.

At a shareholders' meeting in London on Thursday, the Premier League said anyone banned by a single club will be banned by all 20 clubs.

The Cheshire home of Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was attacked by a group of fans last month.

They chanted that he was "going to die" and a flare was thrown into the garden.

The house was empty at the time. Some United fans sang the same song during recent games against Burnley and Tranmere.

"Following recent events, the 20 clubs committed to introducing a league-wide ban for anyone banned by their club for discriminatory, abusive or violent acts," the Premier League said in a statement.

"Unacceptable conduct towards players, fans, club employees or referees will not be tolerated by the Premier League or its clubs."

Today's match between Man City and West Ham has been postponed due to extreme weather

Sheffield Utd's dream season continues with a 2 1 win over Bournemouth.

Bournemouth have asked the Premier League to "look into" alleged comments made by referee Jonathan Moss during Sunday's defeat at Sheffield United.

Cherries midfielder Dan Gosling says Moss showed "zero respect" and was a "disgrace" for making "sarky comments" about their league position.

Bournemouth are 16th in the table, two points above the relegation zone.

The PGMOL, the body responsible for Premier League referees, has declined to comment.

Moss apologised to Bournemouth's Adam Smith in 2017 after wrongly booking the defender.

And while Moss again irritated the Cherries players on Sunday with some of his decisions, Gosling says the official also made disparaging comments about the club being in a relegation battle.

"The ref didn't help. Giving soft fouls away and little comments to two or three of the lads didn't help as well really," Gosling told the Daily Echo.

"I thought it was very disrespectful what he was saying.

"It was just the little niggly ones and then the little sarky comments.

"The officials talk about respect at the start of the season and there was zero respect from Jon Moss on Sunday.

"The comments that he made especially to me and one other player - talking about the relegation zone and 'you're still in the relegation zone', 'you're having one', 'your team's having one' this and that and it was very, very disrespectful."

Gosling confirmed the comments were made during the game before adding: "I think he should really come out and apologise because I thought he was a disgrace."

Sunday was the first occasion this term that Moss had taken charge of a game involving Bournemouth.

Brighton have launched an investigation after a video emerged of four players inhaling from balloons during the club's winter break in Spain.

Shane Duffy, Pascal Gross, Leandro Trossard and Alireza Jahanbakhsh were shown, although it is not known what - if anything - was in the balloons.

A club spokesperson said: "The club is aware of the video circulating on social media.

"This matter is being dealt with internally."

Brighton manager Graham Potter has taken his squad to Spain after a difficult run where they have taken four points from their past six games, leaving them just three points above the relegation zone.

Their next Premier League game is at Sheffield United on 22 February.

Another goal which disallowed to VAR. No one from Wolves even looked off side until the footage was evaluated in minute detail. What a farce this whole VAR thing is turning out to be.

Bonkers first goal for Burnley, Ings badly misjudging an inswinging corner kick at the near post which goes straight in. Ings makes up for it with a great strike from the edge of the box to redeem himself.

Wow, that was a great goal from Vydra on the half volley.
