A very accurate and dangerous LFM Bowler, Dr. Sohail who practices medicine part time, is capable of leaving many accomplished batsmen into nervous wrecks once he is done with them
 
Our goal is try to select active players and also specialist bowlers and batsmen. A/Rs are not very good.

I propose to bag 2 batters next and then we will either get an all rounder or leg spinner for our last pick.

They are super cricketers selected from big known names (current or retired).
They have better skills compared to others. they are like star or Icon players.

6? i prefer 4 and one AR making it five.
6 will not help as the simulator sometimes will pick the worst skilled bowler over top skilled bowler so not giving it any chance of ruining it for us.

The International draft list is coming up. There is good news and bad news.

Bad news is..we pick last.
Good news is.. we pick two at once.

Hope you are online tomorrow, so we can discuss our strategy then..live... :D
 
the bad part is that international player can play 5 matches max. and we can play max per match.
so we have to make a strategy according to it.
 
We pick diamond and silver first so we can decide it now as no one can take it from us anyways. :))

Are bowlers any use? I mean they bowl only 4 overs...Were they really match winners in your previous experience?

i am planning the whole tournament with 5 match rule coming to play. I have to wear my coaching cap to analyze all this.
Will come up with a solution.

As for bowlers, they are good if the pitch is bowling friendly but let me figure that out.

Platinum - Pure Batsman (we have last pick so check the best available. batter with highest skill and placement)
Diamond - Muhammad Amir (we have the first pick anyways)
Gold - Pure Batsman (we have last pick so check the best available. batter with highest skill and placement)
Silver - Tamim Iqbal (we have the first pick anyways)

my plan for playing XI is 5 batsman, 1 WK and 5 bowlers. Pure AR contracts are really bad,

Also if 5 batsmen dont do anything, an AR with poor skills as per contract cant do much. It will ruin our bowling attack as well.

Well then same rule applies. If 5 batsmen dont do anything, 6th wont make much of a difference.

So are you willing to switch to pure bowler?

and we need 2 more changes. one player can become a keeper. i will change one of the batsman to a WK
and one bowler to bowling AR.

What if we select Marlon Samuels. Can we include him in the XI and make sure he doesnt bowl? ...

One more question... Does plc apply only to batting?

placement is batting only. nothing to do with the bowler.

as for Marlon Samuels, his bowling stats are bad and we cannot decide if a bowler can bowl or not. Sim decides it automatically.
