Peshawar Zalmi must be winning this one. They are a better side than Quetta. Now that Usman Tariq is also not playing today IG, Quetta is 1 bowler short.

Toss Update:

Peshawar Zalmi have won the toss and are batting first

Aamer Sohail, on the pitch report, says that the base of the square is not compact and the pitch retained moisture. He reckons it's going to offer grip and spin. Negotiating with the new ball is expected to be a challenge especially in the second innings. He goes on to say that it's going to be easier to bat after the powerplay

I think this is first time Sarfraz missed a psl game ?

A win for either team will ensure their playoff qualification

So, who's going through to the playoffs tonight?

Shame on the Quetta gladiators staff for dropping Sarfraz. He has done everything he needs to do this tournament while also playing a key role in leading

Pathetic Safraz himself knows he was finished was begging to be dropped, but his fans .. dear o dear !!

Making 22 runs in 5 innings averaging 5.5 at a mighty SR of 75?

Yeah tail to his career. I respect him a lot for winning the Champions Trophy and for trying even at this age to get a place in the team. But he is simply not good enough any longer.

Amir really bending his back to try to get Babar out. Cranking it at 141 kph

Good to see Khurram Shehzad back in again after injury

Ramiz: That boundary should improve Babar's strike rate as well

No kidding Sherlock

This PSL clearly shows Amir and Imad's hatred for Babar, and I adore it as it is finally getting exposed.

He will continue to rise, and they along with a few well-known persons on Pakpassion will keep moaning.

Although he has his limits, insha'Allah he and Rizwan will elevate this Pakistani team to unprecedented levels.

Amir and Imad both are jealous individuals, but hate has made them both soulless.

Love always triumphs over hate.

What a 6 from Ayub, pounced Amir for a biggie. I really want to see Amir get hammered this game

Yeah, I really want Babar to get the better of Amir today.
But i don't agree that love always triumphs over hate. I wish that was the case, though

Don't know why Sohail is bowling a seccond over. He was mauled in his first. Poor captaincy imo

Anyone else see a bit of Rohit in Babar's Pull shot against Sohail Khan's last ball? Have noticed this throughout his career with the pull shot but he lacks that hitman power.

Ayub goes 30 (12). really handy knock and Sohail finally gets some respite

Now can Haris continue what Ayub started? Good oppertunity for him

And with that blitzy innings, Saim takes the top spot for most 6's hit

I'm excited to see Abrar vs Babar, could be a fun match-up considering Babar's struggle against spin

Good promotion for Haris. Hopefully time in the middle with Babar will bring him unti form. We badly need a middle order hitter for the WC

yeah 20 (12) so far. needs a big score here to cement his place

@Rana another one of your favorites in Sarfraz is dropped. I thought he's still good enough to be Pakistan captain? He can't even get into a domestic side lol.

Haris was looking very good for once and he runs himself out

Apparently, Babar has been involved in 21 run outs. Crazy stat. Feel bad for Haris, he was looking good and needed a good score to secure his place in PZ and for contemplation in the Pak side

Agreed he's was looking good for a big knock today.

Amir should try to sneak in an over before Babar gets his fifty. Epic thrashing coming up

Generational player for Pakistan. What a blitz to tear Quetta apart.
Our biggest threat in the T20 WC. Hope we study him thoroughly and don't go unprepared like we did against Fakhar in the Champions Trophy final. Think we can explore the option of bowling Kuldeep/Bishnoi with the new ball.

With Rahul dravid has coach, he will study everyone under a microscope

Jamal and Powell would fancy their chances againt Sohail Khan

Really hope Team India works out a plan to keep this guy quiet or get him out, quick. That's half the battle won

Great post. Especially the last line.

Absolute nonsense commentary in this match.

First, we had Ramiz rambling like a drunkard for 10 overs, making fun of players names and what not, and now Amir Sohail correlating Zalmi's collapse with Sammy's instructions during the strategic time out. Does he have any idea what Sammy was talking about before he decided to correlate it with Zalmi's collapse?

This is why 10-ball 20 don't mean much. Not every batsman will score runs.
No one is intentionally going for 200+ strike rates

The pitch is a belter and the outfield is lightning fast. This is par batting

whose names was ramiz mocking? i didnt hear it

ahah roy pushes the ball boy, then says sorry

Very strong recovery from Zalmi after the collapse, they looked unlikely to cross 185 at one point. These extra 10-15 runs could be the difference.
