It's 74m at square leg, 78m down the ground, 62m at point, and 71m towards long-off.

Waqar Younis says the pitch looks really good for batting. Urooj Mumtaz adds that the ball will come nicely on the bat like yesterday, where the last few overs were hit for plenty. Waqar points out that M. Amir and Naseem Shah targeted back of the lengths with the new ball last night, which he believes is the way to go, and then recommends going for yorkers at death with the old ball when it starts to reverse.

Oh I forgot the match was today, popcorns our for Islamabad to win. But Idm if peshawar wins as well

peshawar zalmi - poor bowling line up
saim babar and harris will need to fire if that want any chance

Naseem got Saim out with a nice inswinging delivery last time. Let's see if Saim makes that adjustment.

IU is in trouble if Saim is one of those moods tonight and they can't get him out early.

IU should have played Munro ahead of Haider.

PZ has a good record against IU in the knock outs. IU under Shadab chokes in eliminators every year.

It's nice to see Babar sweeping the ball more. It's a shot he needs to continue using more often to counter attack spin so his SR doesn't get bogged down.

saim is a good batter, but salman, fahim, etc, are not world class power play bowlers, some of the bowling has been pants, the standards are so poor, eliminator game and only one world class seamer on show.

Babar is batting very side on. Seems like he has made a tweek. Anyone else notice something different.

Saim vs Shadab... maybe Shadab baits a false shot or he will get smashed for plenty. Not sure there will be any in-between.

Another good start in the powerplay for Peshawar Zalmi, with Saim Ayub contributing 41 of the runs

Could be the game changing catch IU needs. Peshawar has been prone to collapses but usually Babar has stuck around when that is happening. Will be interesting to see if they can prevent that without Babar.

Unlucky dismissal but another 25 of 22, and people still advocating to bring back babar and rizwan partnership.

@topspin Had hoti hai kuch bando ki.

Saim is next level. Just to be looked after and given confidence to perform at national level.

152 SR in his PSL career. How many Pakistani's in PSL have anywhere near that? Maybe Azam Khan?

No extras given up by IU, their bowling has been fairly disciplined to be honest. It's just Saim Ayub has hit some extraordinary shots.

Zainab says enjoy garam garam chai at 11 pm on a muggy Karachi night & that too if you were fasting ...100/1

104/1 in 11 - if you were in Stadium , would you have a icy nimbu paani or tapal-T ?

Good to see Haris not being completely leg side focused. Has hit a few shots through the covers for boundaries.

that Waqar accent & then the gruff Aamir commentary .... Zainab hi achchi hai - 114/1 in 12

@topspin

3 matches in a row now, imad has been the best bowler for islamabad, yet somehow shadab who's in the same team is a superior bowler to imad. Mashallah.

Saim struggling to find boundaries last couple of overs. Solid bowling by IU by not giving any freebies.

Shadab's tactics have no sense. Fahim is getting butchered and he is continuously giving him another over. What's the point of playing Hunain if you don't have enough confidence in him to do a job.
