And I agree, it would be odd for them to host her now, but then again, money talks, maybe they wanted to cash-in on her popularity, and maybe she didn't read too much into the reports that they were trying to malign her, hence decided to collaborate...

One thing is certain in Pakistan, nobody's ideology and convictions are strong enough to trump the ultimate pakistani demigod, i.e. money...

I think, Geo intentionally released the video.....just to get back at him for leaving GEO ...and now they are trying to look good for the fear of law suite. Who knows!
 
Also, one thing is for sure, Daacter Aamir Liaqat ain't going nowhere...

First his degrees were exposed to be fake, with incontrovertible evidence...he shamelessly defended his degrees on the air and the channels let him get away with it and allowed him to still be referred to as a daacter...

Secondly, his tabarrah against the sahabas were exposed, nothing happened still...

And now this latest episode...the fake daacter/allam will be around for years and pakistanis deserve nothing less...

What law suit? You can't sue somebody for exposing the truth, no matter how bitter or damning...

Slander and defamation only comes into play when the accuser is lying and can't prove the charge...

Here nobody is lying or saying anything, only Aamir bhai is doing all the talking...

Yes, this is what I am thinking as well. Since when did confidentiality ever become a part of their moral standards. This isn't GEO worrying about having their image being tainted.
 
Not sure if this is real (looked genuine enough), but this was one hilarious video.

That "suicide vs getting r****" part seemed pretty genuine considering the mufti's reaction and all. But then again, I'm no expert in finding out what's fake and what's not.

Pathetic if true, but hilarious nonetheless.

I was never a fan of this guy, always had my reservations but I was quite disappointing to see a certain guest mufti also laughing and joking at the rape question. That was simply disgusting, how could he? Does that mufti comes on any channel?
 
yaar SAF, the video is funny, but that doesn't mean that I'm with Amir. It's obviously pretty pathetic if it's true (not denying if it's true or not, just not 100% sure) but regardless, it was pretty funny.

Btw, I didn't find that part funny, it was just the reaction of the mufti which was interesting.

Its funny how MQM and Geo are jumping around saying look we told you so when their exploits aren't exactly saintly. You want to be a good muslim or a good person. theres your Holy Books and scriptures for that, and your conscience, follow that stuff. If we become dependant on people to lead us in a direction, what makes us better than extremist thinking, or racist thinking?

If the video is in fact dubbed which is highly unlikely (read: impossible...specially the part where he is laughing at the question about suicide at the caller and then talking about Indian actor) ...........then any sane person would sue the heck out of GEO TV for defamation. How many people want to bet that he will sue Geo?

Also.... the first three callers... also believed him blindly and were loyal followers... coincident? I think not.

Can't blame the first 2. they won't be watching Youtube in Makkah or Madina. even the third is from gujart very possible he don't know what is youtube.
 
In the denial video the first call is from Makkah Shareef and the man is doing tawaf and has "khushkhabri" for him, which Amir Liaqat is cites as daleel...LOL....jhoot ki bhi koi had hoti hai...

As I predicted, video has been removed but kudos to my friends who are uploading to show the real face of this munafiq.

I knew so much about him and his " kartoot" for long time ( which people are not even aware and can think of) and discussed time to time with people here.

Hopefully ARY will throw him out from channel, if not, we should all send an email to ARY for throwing him this dirt bag ASAP.

Not gonna happen, too much money to be made from the barelwi and shia demographics...he remains a twinkle in the eye of such people...ARY will back him through this...

Only people outraged about his shenanigans are liberal secularist (he represents religion/islam in their misguided perception), qadianis (for declaring them wajubul qatl) and MQMers (since they recently took him back in the fold and making them look bad, though MQM doesn't need Amir Liaqat's help with that), and deobandis (have seen through his fraud from day one)...

- So glad you all see through it; I don't have any real issues with him it just annoys me how people fawn over him in Pakistan and abroad; He's saintly, and yet he adds nothing but good oratory skills, and even then he's copied Sahir who's copied SRK...

- He attempts to initiate debate with his "aalims" but they don't tackle any real issues nor understand different sects (There aren't just 2 y'know) and just happily recite the same old stuff.

I'm keepin out the Politics.

If he's helped inform people about Islam then all credit to him.

But if he's just using that platform to amass a legion of fans and supporters for his political party/concerts/Albums/Songs/ then that is a bit Shady.

Plus if he's ripping the same "Viewers" behind their back Then thats worse; The laddish banter isn't a problem because we all talk differently when we aren't "Performing" either on stage, in an exam, or daily at work.

And the most frightnening thing is you'll not be able to stop Pakistani Glen Becks causing Havoc in the future - PEMBRA need to step up and be independent and with the clarity to decide whats in the Pakistani Publics interest.

I use to watch his show on GEO alot - and thought he was a educated soft person who knew his knowledge on Islam but I guess me and plenty of other people were completely wrong.

And the fact he is claiming that this is dubbed and lying with any shame on his face is just a disgrace and makes my impression on him even worse. The soft tone he used in his voice during live shows was nothing but FAKE.

We should fire this person and get rid of him from shows for good, he's a link....
