?? Are you sure it wasnt a (fake) youtube clip? His shows are live but there is a 7 minute delay, so they can easily edit out these type of calls..
 
If anyone thinks this is fake all i have to say is pigs fly, i dated katrina kaif and broke it off with her because she was to needy, bill gates stole my code for the first GUI, and ofcoarse that seedy zuckerberg stole my idea while i did a semester at harvard :sohail

As many have said, for one, the incidents were hilarious because of his carefully garnered public image. Set yourself up on a Religious image debating about morality and the like and when you do the exact opposite yourself people will rightly call you up on it.

What was worse, of someone of his public stature and power, is that he denied it; thereby insulting his viewers intelligence and feeding into the mind-jarring conspiracy culture that serves no solutions in Pakistan.

My own Family members are avid watchers, but can accept he was a tool in those vids; Take what is good, leave what is bad.

His performance on the video above in the debate about the Karachi violence was superb, heartfelt and sensible.

Personally, I think "the Other vid" shows deep down, that he's "One of the Lads" - You could sit and have some Shisha with him whilst watching Ghalib - How many presenters of Religious programs could you chill with like that?

At the end of the day its just funny; Simple.

Its the utter Blind Faith in these guys and absolutely no use of critical thinking that is symptomatic of the hopelessness many feel. And in the Conspiracy theories, they all act as Placebos whilst no real change ever takes place.

And I'm not mad at the Poverty/Lower class; They have no power or insight and are just about getting by on a roti or two a day (if that); they are truly brave.

Its the pedestal upon which the Gentrified/Middle/Upper classes wax lyrical on guys like these as if the Answers to Paks Socio/Economic problems would be solved by just gazing at the bountiful ray of insight that emerges from the these celebrities derrières. Don't use your brain just bask in these guys warm glow.. There There all better now isn't it, you know about the complexities of Politics and life and Faith all neatly wrapped up for you in a nice Meezan-sponsored analyisis.

I mean you have the education, the money, the love for the country... But you don't want to use your brain? Damn Shame...

Atleast Zaid Hamid has some decent skill in argument/urdu/english speech. This guy always had an air of shaithan in him

You had everything including Mubashhir Lu-C-Man and even Dr. Zakir Naik quoting from the book of Aamir Chapter number...

And Mathira Abuse is like a Pakistani National sport... In times of National grief/depression, she's right when she says these callers are just frustrated...

As per people on Twitter who I follow, Amir Liaqat went to the matriarch of the Jang/Geo family, who happens to be a big fan of his, he begged and pleaded and was subsequently granted the show.

It was the sponsors who forced the Geo to bring him back, this tells you the power of these sponsors and who dictates the terms in the media.

but still his shows are informative with good guests, so he still might make it
 
Has anyone seen the promotion advert of his on GEO tv? I find it amussing. It's funny how he's singing then once that is done, he then starts to say a verse from the Quran.

Bizzare.
 
It's funny how after the leaked video appeared, in his show immediately after that, he without taking Geo's name, blamed a 'network that can do dubbing and editing' for making that video to destroy him, at that time he was working for ARY, but he was previously working for Geo. So per his theory, Geo dubbed and edited his video to defame him and one year later signed him to their channel and made him Vice President, head of religios affairs etc. Incredible.
 
Aamir Liaquat Hussain's former wife Syeda Bushra Iqbal has said that the politician divorced her over the phone, describing it as a "traumatic thing" for her and their children.

Taking to Twitter, Iqbal said it was time to bring about some clarity to her relationship with the PTI leader, revealing that he had divorced her.

"However, divorcing me is one thing, but doing it infront of Tuba on call at her request, was perhaps the most painful and traumatic thing for my children and I. I rest my case to Allah," she said in a message on Instagram.

Aamir Liaquat had spoken about his marriage to Tuba two years ago, following which their valima ceremony's pictures went viral on social media.
