Notably, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had announced a nationwide trophy tour of the Champions Trophy from November 16 to 24.

The eight-team tournament is set to be held in Pakistan in February-March 2025 and to build up for the cricketing extravaganza, the PCB had organized the trophy tour. However, India Today has learnt that the trophy tour has been cancelled in the cities falling under the disputed land of the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).

Best bet for Pakistan is to stick with their stance and have a firm policy in place that no game against India if CT25 will not happen completely in Pakistan.

Without India v Pakistan game the broadcaster will be under the pump cause they had signed to pay $3 Billion. They will call ICC and ICC will simply tell all the boards they can't pay money. BCCI will not have any problem cause they are rich. CA, ECB and PCB will also survive but it's the rest of boards that will get shockwaves from this. It's not ICC. It's the Broadcasters. They'll push for it legally if a stunt like that is pull.

I don't think Pakistan needs to go this extreme. They just have to stick to their stance and reject Ind v Pak game if it's not happening here in Pakistan like the rest of CT25.

I don't think Pakistan needs to go this extreme. They just have to stick to their stance and reject Ind v Pak game if it's not happening here in Pakistan like the rest of CT25.

PCB can forfeit because India refused to tour Pakistan and Government of Pakistan can stop pcb from playing India due to that bringing in force Majeour caluse to play out , But thats not the point. where it is written that forfeiture will result in sanctions? just point out that clause anywhere or any historical evidence or Just Shut up on the matter no?

did they stop Aus , WI and Eng?
besides its your point of view that India can generate same revenue without having to play Pak , so why would it be necessary for icc to keep their matches with Pak by keeping their group same? why would icc take that headache for future?
