What I said was that as long as we are unwilling to shut down the madrassas that are cultivating terrorists, and as long as these terrorists are infiltrating the borders of our neighbouring countries, we cannot blame them for taking action. They don't hold us by our balls lol. They may have more leverage and the upper hand but not us by the balls for one simple reason: they don't want to risk being offensive or look too hegemonic to a point where their allies start changing sides and join the US bloc. No one, not even small countries like to be told what to do by bigger powers.

China especially cares a lot about it's image and wouldn't want any country to hate it, it desperately wants to improve it's soft power which has gotten worse over the last two years because of their treatment of Uyghur muslims and their Orwellian style surveillance state.
China knows that it needs allies in a future cold war against the US so it has to pander up to smaller countries and treat them as equals.

Corruption is not the reason why Pakistan is in this situation it is today. The reason is competency, and Pakistan will not be able to build competency as long as the Army has a stronghold on the economy.

Look at India, it is a heavily corrupt country, but their economy is growing rapidly because they have focused on competencies. They have been able to develop exports like IT, pharma, auto etc. in spite of corruption.

Corruption should be minimized but it cannot be eliminated, and corruption in small amounts will not impede economic progress. However, if you have someone like Fawad Chaudhry as Minister of Science & Tech, you will not achieve anything even if he doesn’t do a rupee of corruption.

Don’t project your ignorance as a conspiracy theory. Evidence is all over the place if you wish to see. The number one reason for Pakistan’s condition today is military interference in economy, politics as well as our foreign policy. As long as they remain the real power in the country, our fate will not change.
