I think you're far worse than a liar.

It is laughable that all you have is a Youtube clip which has mysteriously been deleted and with it all references to it have been deleted. Why can't you provide anything even referring to it?

If i was lying, you would be praising me. It is not truth you wanna hear when favoritism is involved. Imranistan didn't want to hear the truth either, and people accused me of being pro-PMLN when i was simply making observation comment as i am still making observation comment.

Tbf to Malik he can only play whats in front of him and he's done that very well so far. Guess we'll see if this really is his reemergence or a false dawn.

Of course nothing matches that 300 against the great WI team of the 80s :P :))

I am talking about past incident, but you, on the other hand, have been defaming left and right as the threads related to Shoaib Malik are the proof.

Please provide evidence how I have defamed Malik without proof.

All you provided was evidence that Malik confessed.

However, you haven't provided a shred of evidence to support your notion that 'Shoaib Malik went undercover to expose the Oath-taking scandal and was doing it for the greater good of Pakistan'.

Are suggesting every reference to this event has been erased?

That's the match which was abandoned after Malik got out because the pitch was deemed too dangerous to play on.
 
Man these exchanges are more entertaining then a Floyd Mayweather fight; well that's pretty much everything but still :yk
 
Glad Malik is scoring runs but it remains to be seen if he can maintain this consistency, I have my doubts and feel as if this good form will be short lived but I hope it's not the case. With Hafeez bowling banned we need Malik to contribute with both bat and ball more then ever.
 
Malik has been in similar form for the 2-3 years when it comes to domestic cricket so I don't think this his form is an aberration. Most batsman come into their own in late 20s early 30s so he might be coming into his own.

Always been a beast at smashing domestic/league bowlers, not from the last 2-3 years only. Yet was a failure at international scene.

I'll wait and see if he can do this consistently and particularly against the better sides, because that's what matters when you're in an ICC event and he has always failed there.

It's good to see him among the run scorers for now though, but I'm afraid of a false dawn which will end up hurting us at big events if true.

an epic innings. I remember Michael Holding commenting on it. Saw tears in his eyes. The skill Malik showed was breathtaking.
I think people especially the haters should just accept the reality that Malik is a legend who will forever be remembered for bringin success and laurels to the nation. Tamgh-e-Imtiaz should be a bare minimum. Perhaps a special award named specifically for him would be more appropriate.

Indeed I am, the way he took apart Starc, Johnson, Hazlewood, Boult and Southee was brilliant.

Not to mention Shami, Mustafizur and Ashwin. Total domination.

Of course these bowlers are nothing in front of Malik, he has played the likes of Marshall, McGrath, Ambrose and Dennis Lillee with ease in the past.
 
His bowling and batting has been decent this series but his fielding has really declined which is a shame as he used to be an amazing fielder

Question is why the sudden confidence. I remember before this he couldn't bat his way out of a paper bag, now is finishing games off like a boss for Pakistan.

I mean he can only do well against the opposition he's actually playing. I'm not a huge fan of Malik, but he is absolutely winning me over. We'll see what happens against different opponents, but for now what can he do? He can't request Steyn to come in and bowl to him lol. He's performing where he needs to perform. We'll see how he - and everyone else - does the next year.

I think he has worked hard on his batting and also there is just more positive attitude in the team giving everybody confidence!

Yes but there was a ball that Imad Wasim bowled and the batsman late cut it and Malik put in a lazy effort and it went for 4 and he should have kept that to like 2. I think in one of the other games he let an easy 4 past him as well

Reckon it has something to do with him his domestic performances and then the confidence from the T20 league performances around the globe.

He may also be enjoying the additional responsibility of being the most senior batsman in the team, now that Lala, Misbah and Younis aren't there.
 
He is the only guy in the team who can hit sixes consistently. Not that its a requirement but just saying. The only other player that comes close is hafeez.

Anyway, on topic, Younis Khan showing what kind of person he is in his interviews now. Just like they all conspired against Malik for captaincy, Younis even apologised later on about oath gate and not telling about what he knew.

Malik said it about Younis though, because he's a nice person.

He had such a powerful organisation against him that they wiped every trace of his innocence from the face of this Earth.

Except for the mind a very "touched" individual.

Showing signs of getting back to his old self.

I still remember when he took all 20 wickets in the Mumbai Test.

Fans have unrealistic expectations of him. They expect him to take a wicket of every ball, and trust me if someone could it would be The GOAT.
 
Yet again Malik is delivering (and batting in the top 4 where he belongs).

In the next few years he will take over the role Misbah had in the odi side (ie holding pretty much every innings together and consistently delivering) only Malik will score quicker, and he will take over Hafeez's bowling role. Not to mention he'll be a great source of knowledge and a rock for a captain like Ali. I can see him being a key player in the next T20 and ODI WCs for you guys.

Good innings, even though he never took off.

Top-order is ideal for him in T20s, he's not a power-hitter and needs to get his eye in before he can hit some big shots, but the good thing is that 'getting his eye in' does not mean 20 in 25 ball, or 18 in 22; he still runs hard for his singles and doubles and ensures that he hardly plays any dots at any stage of his innings, which is essential.

He would probably have converted his 46* (31) into 65 (40) or an 80 (50) because he can hit them big once he's set, which is why it's important that he's at the crease in the first 10 overs.
 
He is a Cheetah in asian conditions but so are many other Pak batsman. He is definitely going through one of his better patches.
Not sure what will happen when he plays in Eng/Aus/NZ or SAF. That will be the true test.
 
Looks perfect for #4.

#3 could be too early as if he gets out, we may well be screwed. Holds the innings perfectly at #4.

Needs Nauman & Umar around him to ensure that runs are coming at a very brisk rate from one end, so that he can keep rotating the strike and hitting the occasional boundary.
