even though i hate seeing malik bk in odi team

but still i wuld have him in the playing 11 .... in place of that useless DAMAD of pakistan
 
Not fearing anything actualy weak in english i m now posting about my favorurite malik a player who stops wl mouths soon so feel sorry for him

And getting a 50 against this Sri Lankan bowling attacks on the dead tracks of UAE isn't THAT hard.

I'm testing his patience, he has already raised the bet to two fifties, lets see how it goes :yk

The problem with last bet was that he blabbered too much and when the anti-brigade homed in on that, he chickened away with weird stipulations. Dont want to give him any room for that :inzi
 
I'd like to see him open the innings for a few games, that way we can fit both Shahid and Abdul.

Perhaps the PP management can make you an honorary moderator for a day and you can block W63 from posting for a day.

Or

W63 has to create a thread praising Shoaib Malik and use statistics to prove that Malik is the best thing that ever happened to Pakistan (I'm sure you can help W63 with that). And all of us "haters" will provide supporting "bravos" and 'wah wah' to that thread and nominate it for the post of the week.

If Malik scores two or more 50's I'm this odi series then I'll neverog onto PP again!

If Malik fails to score two 50's in the odi series then BZ has to finally admit that Malik's rubbish and this thread is to be locked down forever and BZ to never post about Malik again!!

if he plays in all ODI's since he is such a bradman he should make 5 fifties. He should average at least 50 in the ODI's because he has everything to his advantage here. His ultimate punch bag team, flat tracks, sania in the crowd(probably), BZ cheering him on with his malik shirt and pom poms! what can go wrong!

cmon BZ if he makes 5 fifties in all matches Ill come on this thread and write a eulogy to his greatness!

and

if he comes to bat before 31st over.

then

he would score a 50, 40% of his completed innings.

(means 2 50s in 5 completed innings if he bats in top 5 and start his inning before 31st over)

I had offered 2 100s in 3 tests, unfortunately he wasn't given chance.

ODIs are different and scoring sometimes rely on circumstances ... like you come to bat with 35 to win...now how would you score 50?

or you come to bat in 40th over and other guy is not rotating the strike...still it would be hard to get 50.


lastly, bradman didn't play odis.
 
why not make it top 6 as you can be rest assured he wont be batting any lower than that?

When we have Farhat as one of the openers, it shouldnt be a problem, no?

Do you think.....Malik will have better S/R and Ave than 4 out top seven batmen who batted in at least 3 innings..... (regardless of how many times/balls/innings bats)...... ???


You can refine it if you want... there will be no ifs, and buts... involved.

I have go right now... will log back on in one hour.... think about this .... this will prove Malik is better batsman than other pathetic players in the team.... on the same pitch against the same bowlers!!!!

Malik plays according to situation so i do not think it's fair criteria...

think about chasing 220...and Malik comes early and plays accordingly with rr of 4.2...and wins the game...and if other matches are high scoring games then...220 match would hit his s.r.

incorrect, as there won't be pressure and :yk:hafeez:misbah would excel and boost the average as usual :facepalm:

raising the criteria, if he plays at top three positions in all 5 matches then he will be the highest scorer for Pakistan.

if you keep the deciding factor as the multiple of (average and strike rate), it wouldnt matter who bats where as batsman batting higher will have better averages and lower order batsman will have better S/R, so it'll even out

What makes you think OTHER 6 batsmen will not have the same situation? What makes you think.... Farhat or Hafeez will not do that?

When I say better than four out of seven... that mean only #3. If he is #3 (or better) in Ave & S/R ...... I lose the bet... otherwise you lose. Deal?

avg= runs scored/ # of times out
s/r= runs scored/# of balls faced * 100

Simple formula average+SR/2 will be fair on all batsmen in top 7.

If Malik bats at 6 and has average of 30+ SR of 90= 120/2 = 60

Hafeez average of 40+ SR of 75= 115=57.5
Sounds fair.

Why not top seven batting position???

Let me give you an example.... in 2003 series against mighty South Africa he was #3 in batting average .... and was #1 in S/R.

All I am asking that do you think he will be #3 (or higher) in Ave and S/R in this series.... against his favorite punching bag? If he can do that against South Africa ... why do you think he can't do it against SL??

Lol. its a simple formula (average * strikerate) /2. Take eng vs Ind series for example. Here is what England batsman did, notice how Trott remains on top despite of his low strike rate but better average. But Samit Patel overtakes Peitersen because of the strike rate.
 
Re my avg+SR/2 formula minimum avg has to be 25+ or high SR is no good.
Say 12 of 8 is no good for the team then 30 of 40.
