Reading through this page I must say sultan Yousaf the legend should post more.

It's shame that we put in a pathetic batting performance but surly the highlight is Malik making 2 of 22.

Where are all his other fanboys ? I thought Malik was a great ODI player, can rotate the strike, should be captain and better than YK/Misbah combined etc.

I was unlucky to miss this epic knock. How was he playing? Did he look good?
Timing the ball nicely?

Because I know sometimes Malik looks million dollars but is unlucky to find fielders. I have rarely seen him play an ugly innings.
 
No I won't take joy from Malik failure as it has badly hurt the team and I would rather have Malik perform than put Pakistan in such difficult position but it is good to see Malik fans eat humble pie - 54 pages of their delusion and undermining other players so they can prove Malik is Bradman. Some Moon fans would rather see team fail so they can prove Malik is needed in the team !

No. I would never be happy at anybody's death.

I am happy that Pakistan team is one more step closer to getting rid of a pathetic player who is does not even belong in a club team with this form.

Plus I am happy that BZ is proven wrong 58673202th time! :P

Afridi.... one good innings after 20-30 at bat.... he batted as expected. No big deal there.
 
Look forward to Black zero/anwaar's explanation of how 2 off 22 balls was the best innings out of the entire team. :D
 
can someone check up on BZ please. call 911. I don't know if he has what it takes to cope with this disaster.

In all seriousness, I'm really surprised by this performance.

Not saying Malik's a great player, but he was clearly in good domestic form. But when he steps onto the international field ever since his return, he's looked shaky and terrible. Definitely didn't look this bad in the years before and when he was captain (and even after his captaincy). It looks like something is mentally affecting him.

He may have been an average player at best, but now he doesn't even look like that. Strikes me like a tailender who's struggling to put bat to ball in the matches he's played since his comeback.

I actually hope he does as that will expose him even more and being the final game he will than for sure not get selected in the next series against Bangladesh in which he will score cheap runs.

Worst Malik innings ever. Which is surprising as he's coming off some of his best domestic form.

Malik better start performing, it's absolutely shocking this stuff he's dishing out on the international scene recently.

It seems to me - the malik fan club like to boast about the fact that malik has "connections", has "backing" to get into the team. They like to bring up that he makes a lot of money, they like to make out that he's untouchable etc etc etc...blah blah blah.

Now unless one of you or anwar are malik himself or one of his family members, I doubt he gives a toss about you. So why celebrate like a chamcha at his apparent, alleged "power" in the team?? Isn't that itself a bit shameless?

how about talking about the cricket. What was YOUR opinion on today's disgraceful knock?

DOn't like him for teh way he tried to get rid of som many players to control team while he was captain. He is bad new for Pakistani cricket team and far away he is from team the better. As for this game would liek him to help Pakistan win match as much as any other player.

Whats the point dude of giving my opinion on his performance. My opinion is not gonna change the fact that people actually root for him to fail.

If I say Umar also made 2 runs and got out to literally to the same ball, they would say that Umar performed in the second game (even though you judge players on a game to game basis) or if I say the whole batting failed apart from Afridi, they might say that well the other batsman made 10 runs more than him like that matters

The fact that this was his first match of the series doesnt change anything for these people.

Now alot of people have a strong dislike for Malik for backstage politics, for example (non- cricket reasons), so why cant I bring up his connections to keep the haters in check ;-)

So in conclusion, to all the Malik haters: Keep on thinking that your opinion on a forums site has any bearing in real life :P. Malik will be around no matter how he performs :malik

To the statsman of this thread, I wanna see statistics of your posts to see what percentage of your posts involve Malik. Must be a hilarious figure for someone who hates him.

So basically you have made him more of a focal point in your life than his fans :60:

So he fails on his first game of the series and therefore he is undeserving. Arent you a fan of Umar Akmal? He also made 2 runs and got out to the same ball. This is despite playing for the entire series and being accustomed to the conditions. What was his reason for failing?

Oh but he made 91 in the 2nd match so its ok :facepalm:

P.S- Im gloating about his connections for those who hate him for non-cricket reasons. So it shouldnt bother anyone who doesnt literally root for him to fail. But by looking at your posts earlier today and the fact that you brought up this point makes me think that you also belong in that criteria ;-)

At least Umer AKmal didn't waste 22 deliveries, Malik's inning of 2 of 22 balls totally killed any momentum we had

Yeah but we could only put up a total of 200 because we lost all our wickets. It wasnt a case of running out of deliveries in the end. By the time Malik got out, there was enough time to put the innings back on track.
