South Africa (137/5) defeat India (133/9) to win the Group 2 clash by 5 wickets

As an Indian supporter tonight, I can't tell you how much I hate that India have Sharma at the top still. He is an absolute liability. KL Rahul is tolerable because he is younger and fitter but both need to be shown the door.

On all other days I hope India keep them for their own detriment.
 
Ind would love to lose to dump Pak out.. SA would like Ind to win so they can get juicy ipl contracts… tough situation!!
 
I for one welcome newly Bhagwa-fied Pakistan fans. South Africa will defeat Pakistan regardless, so all this is for nothing to be honest. :))

If India lose this badly, I have a feeling even BD and Zim will come hard at us. On the other hand, Pakistan should be happy either way. If SA beat us, you can enjoy the win. If we beat SA, your chances of qualifying improve.

Bro, the Indian team beat Pakistan by the barest of margins so quit acting like your team is much better than ours. If not for the lousy umpiring, Pakistan had that game.
 
This is hilarious.

India is a far second best in this group, and have a very high chance of getting absolutely smashed on this Perth wicket. Here you have Pakistanis thinking India have any control over the game at all :))

They have to play out of their skins to win against this team.

In that match, India was barely any better than Pakistan, agreed.

But India would also defeat Pakistan 7/10 times quite easily. There's still a gulf in quality.

You get what you deserve. I don’t support mediocrity and I want Pakistan to be eliminated because they don’t deserve to play the semifinals after bottling against India and losing to Zimbabwe.

No point crying about the umpires. Pakistan had a favorable call with Axar’s run out and it wasn’t the umpire’s fault that Pakistan allowed India to get within touching distance of the target after being reduced to 36/4.
 
Maiden first up by Rahul.. good by his standard, at least he didn't get out on first over..

Nah. In Tests, I agree. But in T20Is, Pakistan is a better team marginally.

Last match, we were a victim of complacency.
 
After winning against Netherlands and Zimbabwe, Pakistan to bat first against South Africa in their 3rd match of the day
 
At least Rohit shows some intent. But that Rahul guy doesn't even show intent to score runs.

You're acting like these things don't happen in Sport - England recently lost to Ireland, Aus lost to Zimbabwe recently; that isn't mediocrity. Its just that the standards aren't very high in T20 cricket and anyone can win on the day with a bit of luck.

England and Australia generally maintain high standards. Pakistan doesn’t. No reason to give Pakistan leeway.
 
C’mon KL, just imagine you’re facing Pakistan and throw your wicked away. It is the same color shirt anyway.,
 
What's the point of playing maiden when you are going to attempt these ugly shots. This is where Kohli taking time to adjust actually counts, while hacks like KL just do drama of settling down.
 
KL batting like this . Atleast Pant would hit out or get out. No intent. Also as a left hander he can mess up a seamers line.
 
If these two are going under run a ball then I fear what our openers would do
 
Rohit and SKY have been our best batters since last World T20.

Extra heavy batting balance and still they are not going hard.
 
Never saw SA bowing as threatening despite the reputation. They can intimidate minnows like this, but no wonder they choke against better sides.
 
Very poor start. Best thing we can hope for is Rahul getting dismissed on first ball be faces as he is not getting the boot anytime soon.
