Why do you think an U-19 kid will find it good in international cricket without any FC experience? He has just started and even our Ranji bowlers are much above in skill level compared to the U 19 bowlers he faced let alone Rabada and Co. Let him grind it out and prove his worth. We have plenty of folks ahead of him in the queue.

If he is ready then its good to give ehim a go before 2019 WC and that too under Kohli..i think he is ready.

How is he ready exactly? He averages a whopping 29 in list A cricket in his first season. Don't get me wrong but we have higher standards than Pakistan when it comes to selecting batsman.
 
I think the way that gill guy played our u19 kids and many others he should not be far away from international debut.But for that india has to think out of the box the shaw guy is another one.

Yes that is very much considerate but selectors are there to pick players on ability not on scorecards .This jhadav guy looks a hack though he has scored heavily in domestics?

What about the other guy which hs been hyped on PP.i mean shaw??He is averaging less than a taleneder in list A.

He has potential his ability is long way away from international level and shaw has even longer to go for being India ready. Jadhav is a poor pick but we have rahul and pandey and even Raina who are much better batsmen than Gill right now and will be far better picks for wc next year.

What do you expect off 16-17 year olds in their first season against adults, Will come good but they need years before that happens.

Pant,samson,iyer,rana,hooda,k.pandya etc
All these players made their mark in ipl and has much more experience in facing international attacks compared to gill.
Gill is an opening batsman and India currently requires quality middle order & lower order batsman.

YEs india has quite good options.even if raina is fit he can come,,,,Pandey and Rahul.Sorry guys we are thinking like pakistani not knowing it india with rich batting talent.

Ab gone. That's where ab mental strength comes in. He is good for some shots and then throw away. Very weak minded individual.

Holding has been Anti-India ever since Indian cricket got very rich and the start of IPL was the last straw for him, you can find youtube videos of him slating India and IPL. I do not have problem with his views on India but the only thing is Holding is a big hypocrite, he never spouts similar venom against Australia for BBL and England for their T20 events, bit of a Uncle Tom complex i guess.

Hassan Ali got bludgeoned in Newzealand recently .Does that make him a bad bowler? Chahal tosses up his deliveries and invites batsmen to go for his shots. That is how he gets his wickets.
 
Klasen looked like quota from other side. After Ab there is certainly dearth of talent in SA. Miller😷
 
In olden days, I used to hear - take the spinning ball over eye line (by flighting it and reducing pace) against tail-eneders ....... I can realize every day, what it was meant.
 
SA middle order is even worse than India. How can a spinner bowlva no ball? Could this be a Fakhar moment?

People said the same against Jadeja in his initial years too.
