South Africa beat India by 7 wickets in 1st T20I

Junaid of 2013 or IK jnr would've won it in the last over.
 
Duminy completes the thrashing of a great indian bowling unit.No choking this time from SA.

Some poor umpiring also helped (apart from Mick Lewis standard bowling).
 
This is criminal from the Indian bowlers. How can you not defend 199 ?
 
Today I watched Virat Kohli played a mere flick on the long on which I was expecting to drop short of the long on fielder but it actually went over him! The boundaries were incredible short. Even a mishit from Duminy went for a six
 
The bowling wasn't world class but i think SA batted with a lot of intent. They usually are poor chasers and bottle it when the going gets tough with the bat. I might be reading too much into it since it's a one off game but perhaps Mike Hussey as batting consultant was a good move after all.
 
What was the point of debuting a 31 year old trundler

Hussey was with them during the ODI World Cup too. They were down and out and it was all heading to a predictable Indian victory after Amla and de Villiers were dismissed by then Duminy and Behardien showed a lot of class.

And SA's batting wasn't too bad in the semis was it? They were up against a terrific NZ side and dare i say it - the racial quota system was not helping matters either, Anyway i'm just assuming Hussey has helped this batting lineup out since he himself was a terrific player under pressure across all formats.

haha. i thought he is some 20 year old kid so with them you can hope for improvement that they go to next level. (even if it is delusions)

But honestly what can you do with a 130kph hit-me bowler who didnt seem to be doing much with the ball either whereas BK got some movement. Maybe an IPL Beast?

Axar got hammered too. He nees to put on some weight. He is a kaangri pehlwaan right now

Why is there no mention of Ajmal choking Amla in this post? Why have those two players not been referred to as "chucker" and whatever other title you're using for Amla, respectively?

You're right though, Junaid had momentum with him but I was just trying to cheer up the Indian posters.

South Africa have no problems handling pressure in bilateral series. It is only WC KO matches, where a lot of them see their performances dip but to be honest, there are many players from every country who have been unable to handle such pressure.

I didn't feel like riling you up necessarily. Is it mandatory for me to use choke and chuker when mentioning Amla and Ajmal? point noted. :amla

Rahane once hit him for 6 fours in an over in IPL. Thats the only thing I remember about his IPL bowling.

Amit Mishra can be considered but Dhoni doesn't rate him.
