South Africa need 243 runs to win the 2nd Test against Pakistan after ending Day 4 on 127/1

I love fawad but the thing is He is 36 so his reflexes could go anytime. Alot of players batting falls of a cliff once they lose their reflexes. We need to find someone who will be a steady middle order batsman for the future.

Pakistan don't play many tests anyway so need to worry about how long he'll play for.
 
Rizzy should of gone out teeing wen he knew he has a Bunny at the other end. Cud of gotten closer to 400. Anyways who would have thought abt Pak getting a lead of 368.
 
Excellent batting effort after being 126/6 to 298 all out.

Pakistan need to take 10 wickets now.
 
If I can recall correctly teams batting first have only won 2 of last 10 Tests played on this ground? That could mean it get’s easier to bat on this track as the days progress, hence this good batting display by our late order. Dont know.

1-5 batsmen: 367 runs

6-11 batsmen: 630 runs
 
It's so weird that we constantly touted Naseem as our "express pace guy" when he wasn't even consistently 140+ and bowled 145+ maybe twice in a match, when we had Shaheen right there next to him who can bowl 140+ consistently and hit 145+ consistently whenever he feels like it
 
Highest successful 4th innings chase by a non Asian side is only 286 or something. Saffers, and this saffer side in particular, have no chance here.
 
Firstly, many congratulations to Mohammad Rizwan on a maiden test hundred, looked more competent than everyone else who batted.

One thing I'd like to say is that the duo of Nauman and Yasir made more runs this series than Imran and Abid, so those calling for Abid to get another chance, you should go wash your face and look at the stats again.

Right now, Shaheen is bowling the way I've wanted him to bowl, bang it in on a length and the ball will bounce unevenly from time to time.

Hassan needs to go around the wicket to Elgar, and put the ball on the line reaching the top of off-stump. He's trying too much at the moment, and needs to just go back to his natural length. Elgar will feast on anything wide outside off-stump, or anything full and straight on his pads.

Take one of the openers out and then you can really make a hole in this South African lineup.
 
Fast bowlers to break the pitch for the spinners to do the job. Pitch might seem flat but it only needs to spin a little to get these out of confidence batsmen out.

Yep, Shaheen's pace goes unnoticed partly because he doesn't bowl the short ball too often, so you don't really feel as though he's bowling that fast.

IMO he should use the short ball a lot more, like what he did to Dean Elgar.

Hassan not bowling well here, needs to bring his length back and hit the off-stump line.

Elgar came with his planning, knowing that he had to beat Hassan out from his natural length.

Hope they doesnt panic or have some doubts when Saffers play well even if they are 200 -1

They were 180-1 in the previous tests and were able to bundle out to 220 in no time..
 
It's annoying how we keep making hassan bowl with the new ball when he's clearly not suited to it.
 
Good decision to replace Hasan with Nauman to control the run flow atleast and attack with him as well.
 
Shaheen’s pace is up.

He is also bringing the ball back into the left-hander!

Thats because apart from the nz tour naseem has always been quicker.
 
Shaheen has bowled well.
Should not bowl around the wicket to right handers tho

Markram will go out soon especially now that Rmiz has started to praise him.
Instead the more valuable batsman has gone out.

Ramiz was going on and on that how Shaheen shouldnt be and Hassan should be bowling to Elgar. :amir2
