That pitch was slow but this one ball is coming on to bat nicely. There was not enougu turn for SA spinners today so I think we are in for a big SA score.
 
spinners will be difficult to handle , especially yasir. This pitch is tailor made for him.
 
Clueless captaincy from Babar. Should have had a spinner on by now. Have let Faf settle in.
 
Wont be a bad option to have silly point as well considering Faf defended few in that region against Nauman
 
This is my problem with Pakistani captains . . they refuse to deviate from the template given to them . . or maybe its just that they can't think through these things . .

Faf was dismissed by Yasir 2 times in the last game . . he looked all at sea against him . . why, WHY would you let him settle before he has to face Yasir?
Yes, Yasir doesn't like bowling with a new ball . . yes, you came with a plan to go to Faheem as first change and Yasir only comes later . .

but . . Faf is at the crease . . what's the one bowler he wouldn't want to face right now?! can the captain not answer that question . . really is a pity!
 
Cant believe roots have played 100 test matches and he is still in his 20s. Incredible test cricket makes u a good cricketer, something PCB need to look into and make Pakistan play more test cricket and less T20 if they want to become a good team again.

Thats good bowling in pair with Nauman creating pressure at other end that resulted in this
 
Am starting to think on away tours , should play nauman instead of Yasir , provides a lot of controlm
 
Clever accurate bowling, if you noticed the subtle change he made after making the batsman defend a few balls which were off a good line and length, he just enticed the batsman to take a risk and got the reward.

Pakistan just on top, one more wicket will really dent South Africa, however as the total is not huge they just need one big partnership to cut the deficit. Want to see how Yasir goes about his business today.
 
Can’t believe people were criticising Mohd Wasim selection. He has been spot with his selection only problems occurred was openers which has been a long time problem.

Imran butt is no no. Imam and Shan should be given chances again.
 
Markram will be an important wicket here. QDK getting in inside 30-40 overs of the innings would be good for Pak
 
One more spell by Hassan and South Africa will be in control again. He is going at an economy rate of 5.80 in a Test with only 272 on the board and people are praising him for taking two cheap wickets.

Clearly not a Test bowler. He is like a very, very inferior version of Starc. Keeps bowling boundary balls every over.

The standard of Pakistani fast bowling it at an all-time low. Those who tend to take wickets have no control and those who have no control cannot take wickets.

It is a dysfunctional pace attack with no plan and no execution.

Well two chances gone, should have gone for the review, would have been umpires call or out, poor captaincy.
 
Rizwan’s keeping has not been up to his usual standards in this series. Hopefully it is only a temporary dip in form rather than an illustration of a yet another Pakistani player losing focus and determination after securing his place in the team.
 
Poor over for Rizwan. Dropped a catch and then convinced Babar to not take a review. Part and parcel of the game I guess

Never understood that. If you have last one remaining it makes sense to be cautious but, if anything is close you need to give it a go as clearly Nauman was interested.

Rizwan just had a shocking 5 minute period, he has dropped a couple of straightforward catches recently despite taking some good catches. I hope his wicketkeeping can go back to his high standards.
 
The bowler had the best view of that he should have pushed for the review

Rizwan takes reviews when guys with IQs the same as their shoe size request for one such as Shaheen, but he was convinced that Nauman one was missing leg!

Bad few minutes for Rizwan there - if he’s a clown though, then so is just about every keeper around.

Guys not sure what you think but he looked like a tail ender all this series yet he looked like Bradman in Newzealand but he looked a rabbit previously as well. So in my opinion he has had just one good series
 
Not the first time Rizwan has been poor with reviews. Should stop taking his input on reviews.
 
With umpires call meaning you retain the review. It was just inexplicable why pakistan didn't go for it
