Flintoff is too overrated. He never comes off in pressure situations. When was the last time he played a decent match winning innings for England? He was moving around the crease too much, couldnt anyone ask him to stay straight. The South Africans have once again proved they are more street smart than the English.

England's shabby fielding cost them the match.

Sorry i blame this loss on snape and Flintoff. Flintoff was expected to hit the ball around but he couldnt (the guy really needs some match practice with the bat, he looked terribly undercooked), he let England down and whos idea was it to send Snape up the order ahead of Mascerenhas. No wonder the English suck at cricket, they dont think aggressively or proactively. If you compare SA to the rest of the world they have atleast 8-9 players in their squads who can clear the boundry ropes to hit sixes. England only had 3-4 max. That makes a huge difference.

Another game we should have won that we lost. England lost the game, rather than SA winning it. Various things to be disappointed about...the inclusion and performance of Snape, the ridiculously unlucky Pietersen dismissal (which I doubt was completely innocent from SA), the dropped catches to name a few.

But I'm thinking 'never mind'. That was the hardest opponent we will get in the group, and we only didnt beat them by pinch-hitting, fielding and catching to an absolutely w@nk standard, so there is a decent England side in there waiting to break out. We can definitely still make it through to the semis.

England should beat the Indians and New Zealand.....so I think you will still go through Whippy. Until Owais got out you were looking good for a win, but that's the thing about 20-20...just one wicket or one over can decide the result of the game.

I think South Africa and England will go through from your group and I think the Aussies and us will go through from our group.

Like I said, everything in our performance apart from Owais's batting and the seam bowling was completely terrible...yet we were still in the game right until the end, and the seam bowling really was very good...Freddie is awesome. India dont look too special at 20-20, and New Zealand are one of those sides that is known as 'efficient', but against really talented and innovative cricket they have no answer. I believe this England 20-20 side is far from hopeless and has a chance of getting through.
