The south african commentators have been pretty snarky about Indian performance throughout this match.

Now Kallis should go after 300. The way they both are playing and the way Indians are bowling they both can end the day on 300*

And now to see how good our batting line up really is. If anybody can save the situation it's this line up.

Right then #1 team in the world collectively trail Hashim Amla by 4 runs with only 10 wickets remaining.:amla

I just don't understand when a team has a good start, for example 111/1 why people start talking about 500+, 700+?

It only takes one good spell from a bowler and you are suddenly 160/4 and eventually all out for 280.

Probably because in this case it will be 500 odd, unless Harbadulkar takes 10fer bowling from both ends in partnership with himself.

Another few hundred runs with 8 wickets in hand, 600+ doesn't seem so far off now.

And on 4/620 they declare after Kallizzz :28: gets his maiden double ton and De Viliers gets out trying to cowlash SA to 700.

Actually, it's not just the Seffricans scoring tons - three Seffricans scored tons, well three Indians scored tons too!.

Code:
Bowling O	M	R	W	Econ	Other

I Sharma	27.1	2	120	2	4.41
JD Unadkat	26	4	101	0	3.88	(2nb)
Harbhajan Singh	36	2	169	2	4.69
And another who choked in the 90s (or was taken off)
Code:
S Sreesanth	24	1	97	0	4.04	(2nb, 1w)
And some honourable half tons
Code:
SK Raina	7	0	77	0	11.00
SR Tendulkar	10	1	51	0	5.10	(1w)

Sehwag 100 away from his ton with 51 overs to play

While India's batting lineup gets all the limelight, lineups like the Saffers' don't get their dues. That's a crazy batting lineup the Proteas have!

From Cricinfo

Morkel to Gambhir, no run, 137.8 kph, bangs it in and gets it to explode from a length. Is this the same pitch where India were delivering dollies? Gambhir sways away in mortal fear.

At least Sehwag and Gambhir are playing their natural game. Our batters would have started tukk tukk right away and eventually crumbled to 250 all out!

Morkel to Sehwag, FOUR, 147.7 kph, Sehwag plays his brand of the walking cover drive again. Morne does not give him the driving length, but Sehwag moves the body momentum forward in a flash and opens the wrists as he makes contact. The result is four through covers. A shot from the Sehwag factory.

Good Pace but Not effective at all..
