Rahane goes as well. This is a slaughter, I pity the poor Indian superstars. Expecting some effigies to be burnt.

Another one bites the dust... BCCI should just cancel all away tours and play at home.

This is embarrassing. It really is.

At least Pakistan batting is known as being fragile, India are supposedly the best batting line up in the world.

Kohli is saving his best for the Test.

Funny how quickly you have changed tune from "Steyn vs his baws" and ":Kohli will chase this easily" to a tame "he is saving his best for the Tests".Everybody knows Kohli is a better LOI player than Test Player.

Now morkel strikes and rahane departs! Batsman reacts in a manner that he did'nt hit it.

India reeling at 34/4 ...... Ohhh i am loving this !!! :-)

Yuvraj and dhoni special ??? Ha ha ha bring it on

Thats not how cricket is played my friend.

In tests its 1-0 South Africa

In ODIs its 1-1.

That is exactly how cricket is played. You got whitewashed in SA in tests(your worst tour ever) and drew a Test series in UAE - your impregnable fortress. Not that we are going to do any better but Sa are miles ahead of the competition except in T20s

Yesss Effigies will burn tonight in india after this rape by south african bowlers of indian batsmen !

And this is no green wicket as early reports seem to suggest, it is exactly slow wicket but like i said earlier the quality of south african bowling will take over the wicket factor plus the psychological advange gained from match one.

so the 4-1 victory that SA had over PAK in UAE counts for nothing?

3 of those matches in UAE were very very close and could have gone to either side, unlike the phanity your boys are receiving right now :))

Plus we beat SA in SA a few days after.

I'm absolutely loving this massacre taking place in Durban right now

Only seven times have India won an ODI after being four down for less than 40 runs - last time was v WI in 2006

You got dhoni over there. can history be made?. Remember that century against us in the first ODI.

Looking at how the Indian batsmen are playing here, I think many of us have been to harsh on critisizing the Young pakistanis playing in SA.

There is still one match left, he will score a triple ton. :kohli

This match isn't being played in the UAE. Pakistan defeated South Africa in this same country 2 weeks ago, whereas India are getting destroyed.

The match was over when Kohli got out.

Kohli is the difference between a world class batting lineup and a mediocre one

comment on cricinfo

Rob: "I think SA supporters need to give credit to BCCI for deciding to throw their weight like a school bully and shorten this tournament. After 3-0 you tend to lose interest."

:)

All Saffer fans will agree that Pakistan were a much more difficult opponent than this Indian team.

lol.
Isn't there a little difference between SA and UAE though ? Just a little.

Vastly different. those are away conditions for SA and they won 4-1. Credit to you guys for winning a series in SA but the truth is SA have dominated Pakistan for most of the year mainly in tests and to an extent in ODI's as well.

Just woke up. How are the mighty Indian batsmen doing? Have Dhawan and Nohit both scored breezy front foot hundreds yet?

Between all the complaints and bashing against Indian Team (and Trundlers), India have done fairly well in overseas on bigger tournaments (like World Cup 2003 South Africa, Champions Trophy 2013 England) of course they have failed at some times which is common to most teams.

I think what lacks is preparation and practice. It is extremely difficult to adjust from Indian conditions to these bouncy conditions. They needed some warm up games and thorough net practice (but with current extensive cricket schedule it is impossible). The bigger blame goes to the organizers and BCCI who are behind money. Players should not be targeted and made fun of! Our batsmen definitely like below stump balls in India and fancy scoring high! What's wrong in that? Why should they be termed as FTBs? Batting requires skills wherever you play. The problem is adjustment. There is no room and no time for it.

The Indian team in the past was real poor team which used to play poor both in and outside India. They would get beaten by West Indies, Australia, England and South Africa at home also.

I am sure these Dhawans, Kholis, Rohits have in them to adjust and play at least 75% to their potential even in these conditions. They need those adjustments.

Even Australians & South African batsmen do some practice & preparation before they come to India (which is relatively adjust from Bouncy conditions to Flat conditions). In such case, it is all more important for Indian batsmen to get the same. But nobody (BCCI) bothers it and they know they can make merry playing (and winning) in India, and can still make some revenue through these shorter overseas tours (as Indians do follow these matches even if their team loses)

It has nothing to do with the UAE ; Asian teams struggle IN South Africa, check India's record there, a W/L ratio of 0.20.
So Pakistan's 2-3 in SA's favour early this year and it's 2-1 series win lately are achievements you might try to hide behind a feeble rhetoric as much as you want but which stand out, considering that India has won 5 ODIs since 1992 whereas Pakistan won 4 in one year.

It has nothing to do with the UAE unless India is playing in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah right now.
