Sachin is living dangerously here, just a little inside edge saves him again

that's Lunch

74/2 after 19 overs

Sehwag 25
Vijay 19
Dravid 14
Tendulker 13

Steyn 2 for 19

Sehwag will give India a flying start, I don't think pitches matter to him, he can score anywhere in the world regardless of bounce or swing, he hits anything that's red and round. Hope someone supports him in the other end, hopefully Dhoni. India will win this one, I have a feeling.

Check sehwag's average in SA.. this is his third trip to SA and he averages 27, with just one century in his debut match. He will be troubled when the ball is bouncing more.

Take Steyn out , this SA attack is mediocre ...Morkel can use the conditions well , but So So , Kallis & Harris ?

Sachin and Dravid if they survive first burst after lunch time from Steyn and Morkel then they have a good chance of building a good partnerships by milking Kallis, Tostosobe and Harris

300 a working total here?

Needs a ton from one of the big three...

The upcoming session should be fascinating enough.Tendulkar looking to attack, steyn steaming in...one of the best sights in world cricket guys don't miss out.

Steyn didn't get the opportunity to bowl at Sachin after lunch, out of all the bowlers Tsotsobe got him

220 guys.please dont collapse now.Real test for pujara who may coem later on

"Tendulkar had looked positive throughout his stay and it's probably that approach that prompted him to after that one. A fatal attempt in the end, India are on the back foot now" - cricinfo

I don't quite understand this comment from cricinfo, there was a top edgs and Morkel troubled him in his short stay.

I am expecting Dhoni to score a big one, Captain Cool will smash the overrated South African bowlers

Teenda gone for 13 and with him hopes of a billion that he will break Yousaf's record.

Tsotsobe is a rubbish bowler, he doesn't have the pace and still thinks he is Shoaib Akhtar, should just walk away after getting thrashed like that. This guy is Sreesanth number 2.

Laxman survives as he hits the ball in the air and falls just short of the fielder.

The South African bowling attack improving their bowling figures by bowling against minnows :sachin

This is proper test cricket. Men from boys.

Unlike England v Australia :P

jst saw the score..Indians seem to be doing fine..m a bit worried now...nething above 250 ll be very competitive...

No need to check the score again.Come and see the thread every 10 mins.If the number of pages doubled than last what you saw,it means india have lost lot of wickets,if it is same, means india are in a good position lol

:))) So true..

Indian FTBs look all over the place especially Laxman. Now Drawid is gone who just doesn't seem like the wall he once was. If India make over 250 they will do well.

Pujara the new Tendulkar is here, lets see how he handles some chin music.

We would be lucky Whip to get 180 lol......... Yay India once again proving outside the sub continent they are a 1 man (SRT) only team...

That was a blinder by Tsotsobe and possibly a match winning catch as Laxman looked the only one who started to get going.

Alright guys! Now you watch Pujara. He is an amazing talent and this could well be his day.

I also exaggerate from time to time but... this is day one of a 5 day test!

Pujara looks like a good player dude...if he can get 70 in the 4th innings v Australia, he can raise a reasonable total here. No idea why he didn't play in the first test to be honest.

No idea why everyone thinks that South African batsmen play particularly well on seaming tracks. Whatever India finish up on, they will always be in the game as long as the ball keeps moving.

they are pretty poor , but unless we post 250+ we are not going to put pressure on them

Question is who will move the ball for India?? :))

We don't think they are a invincible batting lineup. But we think, our bowling does not have enough to trouble them a lot.But with zaheer khan's return maybe we can expect something if not a complete destruciton

Zak and even Sreesanth will be in with a shout when the ball is moving. India's position looks pretty bad at the moment, but I would hesitate to call it a hopeless one.

Sehwag really has a lot to answer for. Not impressed with him at all.

I am not saying that, India Won't be able to fight back in this match. But. SA players are more used to with this kinda conditions. So, 250+ won't do anything great for India. But yes 350+ can do.
