green track bully stain is back now that 3 wickets have fallen. He left with his tail between his legs when Sehwag was manhandling him.

how cra* are saf. They let FTBs score 200 on a helpful pitch, under helpful overhead conditions, after the winning the toss.

Oh wait. Real FTBs got shot out for 131 against team of spinners.. LOL....

whats the big deal ..every bowler gets hit for 4s even mcgrat got hit for 5 fours in a row by abdul razzar in sydney ...what really matters is how many times he gets the batsmen out ..and stein got sehwag for a lovely duck in the first test and today he got him again...iam not biased towards SA ..there was lots of talk about sehwag vs stein before the series and the score rite now is sehwag 0-2 stein

No one expected Pak to win the 09 T20 or 92 WC, well we did and Ind would and will never have the character to do comebacks of those proprtions.

Your fans will probably start burning the stadiums if Tendu gets a duck or when you get knocked out in the first round.

The fact is Steyn is the best bowler in the world and is not greenwicketbully as you said.

and OWRLDS no.1 test team got owned by the mighty zambawbe earlier this yr and fumbled for 80 odd runs aganist kiwis :wasim

Laxman doing some important work here - anothjer 100 runs or so and the game will turn to India decisively.

he wasnt in tears, just very fired up like he usually is. He is afterall a fast bowler with fire in the belly but dont worry, I know why you havnt heard of that species.

VVS and Dhoni hold the key here for Indians, If they can get lead to around 250 i think they will win this test. Indias 1st inns lead in such conditions is massive.

India bowled well and S.A did also play some bad shots.

Advantage India.
 
Great comeback by India - when I last saw South Africa were 60 odd for 2.

Excellent comeback by India.

However yet again the wickets were taken by Harbajan and Zaheer. Sreesanth and Inshant contributed little and were expensive. I think it's time to shut the curtains on both of these prospects. I thought Inshant had potential, but it doesn't look like he's going to get any better. Both are too inconsistent really. India need to try other options. Keep one of the bowlers and give the other bowling place to a youngster. Ojha is a good find, but it's not wise to play two spinners outside the subcontinent.

India has batted OK in the second innings. Again Sehwag has failed to understand the importance of digging in on a difficult pitch.

While I hope India win this, I have a sneaky suspicion that South Africa will for some reason. I just feel they'll bat better in the second innings.
 
230 would be a tough ask, 280 would be near-impossible

Have to say its 1st time ive seen Sardarji bowl well away from India against some top quality oppostion. Maybe he can become a genuine batting all rounder who bowls abit ;)
 
India could match Pakistans famous win in Durban back in the 90s if they win this game.

I remember Azhar Mahmood, Saeed Anwar, Shoaib and Mushy played brilliantly in that game!
 
I hope India win...some fans on here might realise what a good team they are in this modern age of average players/teams- and we should appreciate quality players and we won't see the likes of SRT, VVS, Dravid for too much longer
 
India will win this game easily, only a miracle can save South Africa.
Still in shock that South Africa got bundled out for 131.
Zaheer deserved to pick up 5 wickets, Harbajhan only picked up the tails and a lucky Amla wicket, Zaheer got all the big guns.

Steyn to Sehwag, 2 runs, 136.4 kph, the cover drive, in general, stands for elegance. When Sehwag plays it, it is stripped of the esoteric elements and is just pure, unadulterated power. Like this one. Over-pitched by Steyn, Sehwag stays in the crease and smahes it away. Despite the situation of the match, SA have a sweeper in the back. And it's because they are bowling at this man.

India does come back hard after a slow start. This match is in Inida's grasp. It's is for them to lose. SA as usual chokes. I bet my money on India to win it easily

I think SA will be much harder to dismiss the second time, unless the pitch deteriorates which is unlikely given India is already 4 down. I wouldn't be too surprized if Steyn has them all down by Lunch.

Would be interesting to see how Zaheer and co fare in second innings and will Harbhajan have his tail up with a decent performance yesterday? What he does could be the difference between a win or a loss here for India.

I think India needs 350+ to feel reasonably safe but I don't see them getting that much lead and even if they did, if their bowling does poorly like last test, there is more than enough time for SA to chase it down.
 
Early blow to India! South Africa need to wrap this up ASAP. Ideally in the next 50 runs
 
If S.A can knock the pretenders down for say another 50-100 runs we can definately chase it down. More than that and it spells trouble. The key is breaking this partnership. Last time India toured we had to chase down 200+ twice and did it easily if I remember correctly.

even each SA batsman improves his batting performance by 50% (w.r.t. 1st innings) they would still be out around 200 ... so don't lose hope, picture abhi baaki hai mere dost...
