India will win this match. So strong a batting...... They did it against Australia in India...
 
I frankly think it will be South Africa who will win :(

4th innings batting is always difficult and 200+ on this pitch will be very very difficult
 
Really dissapointment.... By Amla and AB......: Really poor batting..... a bit of unlucky... but still very poor batting..

You have your heart on it,.. As a neutral.. India have a big chance of winning this.. Only need to survive the opening spelll......

I just don't think anything below 250 will be challenging for India. They bat deep and I cannot remember the last time they struggle in a chase? They chased 200 odd vs Aussies recently and then that chase of 380 comes to mind vs England. With Sachin in this form, I think SA need 250....minimum.

Bhai U are spot on... 200 runs is too easy.. One batsman set... and its done..
 
Ishant has been grossly underperforming this series. If he cannot show wickets here, i doubt he can do it elsewhere. From opening, he has slipped to a one-change bowler.
 
India needs to slowly start phasing the older players out. Starting off with Dravid. If they all leave at the same time they will be in trouble. If they don't do this, they will face the same situation as what Australia is facing now.
 
Kallis is in tremendous form. Saved the day for SA. and good old Boucher too. India would do well to restrict to SA to 200. 250 will be difficult on 5th day on this pitch... its really cracking up.
 
What a partnership. COuld have decisively turned this match SA's way now. 70-30 in favour of SA.
 
I will still back Indian team to win this match.....just need to survive the new bowl unlike Sa did in second inning..
 
I can bet 100000 kr.. that India will not win WC... there bowlers loss hope easily...
 
Hmm match looks more and more difficult with this partnership. Kallis is again the thorn in the flesh

I dont think Indian will chase around 300 runs.. Its not that easy after fielding and pressure.. Sa bowlers will be fresh.. Sehwag second inning is a poor batsman.. Tendulkar will score around 80 runs I think....

Steyn will eat India out... I want India to win. But it is getting harder and harder now..

You have to wonder whether SA would be happy with a draw here with their current run rate.

What a stupid comment! You don't know how many SA will score and you are talking like Inida has 11 Tendulkars watiting for their turn. If SA score 250+ here it wont be easy to chase that down on a fifth day pitch.

You can't allways expect your tail to add 50-70 runs.

and it is stupid because? Last three innings India have scored more than SA in this series so far. Before that too we scored 459 in third innings. What makes you so scared of Styen and Co. all of a sudden?
 
I think SA are on their way now to a victory. :( We didnt capitalize on initial bowling successes

Let's see. Like I said Lax and Sach are batting like they never did, anything is possible.

highest successful chase at newlands is 334/6 by australia in 2002 , but the second highest is just 211/5 by SA in 2007

The old guard. I had a feeling a long time ago that India needed to keep this lead below 260. They're still well below that at this moment in time but India would start to worry at anything over 230-240 if there isn't much happening for them.

I remember India in 2006 v England- they collapsed to Shaun Udal!
 
Sehwag! The win is impossible without him clicking.

He needs a lot of luck to survive the new ball. After that I think we can manage. Paul harris isn't great IMO. Tension!!!

If SA Bat well to set a target of 300 , then that would leave them with only 3 sessions to bowl at the Indians . While chasing if two Indian wickets fell early then rest of the following batsmen can forget about winning and just try about playing out the remaining sessions which I dont think will be a big ask . Three sessions dont look enough to bowl out the Indian team with a defensive mindset
 
What a great innings by Kallis! Battling injury and huge pressure. This surely is one of the all time great innings. This test match too should go down in history as one of the all time great matches..
 
New ball will get interesting.. Indian bowling is right now very poor..
Do not wanna se a drawn...
