15.1 Tahir to Darren Bravo, 2 runs, 15 years ago, Brian Charles Lara played one of the best WC knocks of all time to shut out SA in the quarters, Darren Bravo is half-way there in replicating that or at least he is trying to do so, third ODI FIFTY!! and a beautiful cover drive to bring it up too, 17th of the tournament already

Well done Bravo. What a way to make a statement.
 
I cant believe SA elected to field after winning the toss. I know they must be worried of the dew-factor after playing 3 spinners, but to chase under lights in Sub-continent is never easy.

Can't believe South Africa went with 3 spinners. Go with your strength. Tsotobe has been their best ODI bowler recently and should have been playing.

wow cant believe WI's went with only 1 seamer....this is going to be one strange world cup
 
too many spinners for SA .... tsotsobe is a must for these conditions! ok if they really need to play 3 spinners .. then he'll be more useful than morkel on indian pitches i believe!
 
IMO for LBW reviews, if it shows the ball to be clipping the top of stumps, it should be not out. Unless the ball is hitting the stumps fully, batsman should get the benefit of doubt.
 
all the hard work done by bravo n smith earlier is being wasted .. courtesy crappy shot selection and being the west indian they are these days
 
I'm happy he dropped Bravo because i hate SA. Comming into the match i wanted him to do well,as i do with Amla( because of his simplicity,lack of pride & his being a muslim) but after seeing the way he carried on after his wickets,i don't anymore. You don't carry on like that especially when the team you playing for messes you around like that. You've got the opportunity,don't let your success get to your head
 
Tahir gets an official warning for running on the pitch. Taufel had a word with him earlier, which is why his follow through is the way it is - pushing away to the off side as soon as he releases the ball - but this time he stamps the track. Not a good idea. They need to bat on this later.

They do get benefit of doubt if the umpire gave it not out but if the umpire gave it out then the original decision of the umpire stands,i.e out
 
Bravo and Chanders need to stay till 50th over if they are to post a competative total.

but the problem is that its adding confusion....if WI take the batting powerplay in 40th over then what by what you've said, P3 will be written with the score from over 40th to 50th even though P3 ended in 45th over.....creates a lot of confusion..doesn't it?

It's a bit unclear,but if you look closely,the p2 has got a line across it in red(it's scratched out) which means the 2nd pp was already taken. When the 3rd pp is taken it will show p3. If the 3rd pp is completed before the end of innings the p3 will be scratched out

actually if u see it closely .. its written P2 with a red diagonal line cancelling it .. indicating that the P2 is already done

imran tahir for SA- is a farce much like KP for England. This isn't club football. How can Tahir be patriotic for SA?

You would see now, P2 is written but it's cut, you know crossed something like P2/

When p3 is taken there wouldn't be any / on it when it finishes, / would be on it. LOL btw, it is confusing.

lol oh yeah now that you've told me i noticed the crossed line!...

really if folks here hadn't said it i wouldn't have noticed it. Imagine the confusion for folks not on pakpassion.

Both Bravos have batted well today. This games becoming pretty interesting now.
 
A decent crowd at Delhi despite the home team not playing.

I wonder why they havent allowed school kids to comein free of cost for such matches (not involving the host team), we will have an even better crowd.
