problem is our boys don't usually rotate strike well.....best bet might be to open with kamran and give him free licence to pinch hit, hope to get a quick flyer to 40/50 for no loss in the first 5 overs. We are not gonna do this the orthodox way as we don't have the ability to build partnerships

this game was gifted by stupid team selection - weaken bowling without Irfan (who the SA fear), two has been spinners instead of abdur rehman which would have left the option of playing umar akmal or irfan!!!!!! Retarded toss decision playing to Sa strength and our weakness - misbah looking to gift another whitewash!!!

Hope the boys are not choking on their poppadoms during lunch break??!!!! Make sure there's extra lassi on the table for them as they are very delicate!!!!

Don't Understand

All the abuse that goes on in here. You see posters calling players "pathetic" and "shameless" and other inappropriate terms. We even see people rejoicing at people's failure, I saw in the match thread saying "take that Junaid Khan fans", I mean come on! The vast majority of fans on here seem to be supporters of individual players or rejoice at the failures of other players, which I really do not understand. Are you not meant to be supporting the team? This isn't Snooker, its a team game and you should be supporting every individual that is playing regardless of whether or not you agree with their selection.

Secondly, even if you're frustrated, just remember they don't fail on purpose and you yourself probably don't have the ability to do any better regardless of the fact that they're professionals. I'd like to see many of you face inswingers and outswingers at 60MPH on a bowling machine and see how you fair let alone facing Steyn, Philander or even new comers such as Abbot.

I think its just unfair at how much a lot of fans on here think that Pak players should be perfect and to an extent discredit the achievements of other teams/players and as a result are unduly harsh which invariably reflects an uneducated view of the game.

Rant over, but those are my views.

If you think you will see a strike rate 100 50 with just 2 fours you are wrong.... we thrive on boundaries... there is a reason we collapse when the team chokes us bcz we cant rotate the strike. It is our fundamental weakness....

Today saffers showed the importance of strike roatation as AB reached 51 with only 8 from boundries and ingram reached a century with only 40 from boundaries.... strike rotation is the key in chasing and we fail at that.

agreed... you cant even think about going in south africa with two pacers... no matter what happened at the end junaid and gul especially gul looked good.
ajmal is a very special spinner and he found it hard and hafeez a container could not keep them down... we all know what happened to the savior afridi.

Another pacer was important... and he should have played over afridi.. Our four bowler theory worked in india so why wont it work over here ..... Not playing irfan and then bowling on a batting track is pathetic.
