why aren't we like this...

they were raised on this pitch so so they know how to bat and bowl. whereas our batting that collapses on batting tracks couldnt get past 100. Hope they learned how to bat over here.

I guess the only solution to improve this pathetic performance is to get some curators from SA .. and ensure pitches in PK are similar to SA/Aust/Eng ...

why the hell does Rahat Ali raise his hands on every ball where the batsman is so comfortable playing him. He is even clueless in his reactions

:ajmal has not bowled that well , had Pakistan batted out today , :ajmal would have been more effective on third and fourth days.

they are making this pitch look like a batting track whereas we are making it look like a bowling heaven

Many were lauding Misbah's captaincy in the 1st innings but it's like he lost all hope in 2nd innings. I felt after tea Hafeez should've bowled the 1st over and also taking in mind Amla lost his wicket to Younus,he should've let Younus bowl when Amla came out to bat and before he could settle, same with Hafeez for De Villiers, it would've definitely worked on the mind of the batsmen. Doesn't help leaving the same bowlers on allowing the batsmen to settle especially when giving away easy runs. You have to keep rotating as this will cause a lapse in concentration. Pakistan always seem to get something(decisions) going against them which causes them to lose interest in the game and play as if they don't really want to

A long mail from Talha on cricinfo: "People just don't seem to understand..it's not about the temperament, the mentality, the practice or any other euphemism of some immaterial quality. It's the tangible - the technique and the armor of shots - which are and always have been Pakistan's problem against quality bowling. Neither our uber-calm captain nor the team management nor the tv experts have seemed to read this problem for what's been ages now. There's so much talk about patience and practice and nothing about bat-and-pad, where to put your front foot and how to apply power. That's where real work comes in and where you need a batting coach. No hardline technical stuff and you end up hailing players like Azhar Ali as your knight in shining armor, mistaking their inability to play shots for 'patience'."

Dunno if it's true, but that last bit was funny. :))

This can be an embarrassing series for Pakistan , sadly they do not have any quality batsmen who can come in.

AB on fire!! can't believe this is the same pitch on which Pakistan got all out on 49.

AB on fire!! can't believe this is the same pitch on which Pakistan got all out on 49.

Pakitan were facing Steyn/Philander while AB is facing Rahat Ali and an ultradefensive/pathetic Ajmal

And ofc Pak 'batsmen' suck we all know that

This is probably the biggest humiliation Misbah has handled as Captain and Whatmore as coach

Do not think any batting coach can make any difference , Pakistan simply lacks batsmen who can grind it out and get big scores in Test matches.

With this kind of batting line up and no better talent on the bench , it looks bad for Pakistan.

3 days are still left. They will bat third day and have us dance like monkeys on the last 2.... seriously ajmal is bowling is a crap spinner. Finally a wicket and a review is called. the ball was a very defensive one...

hot spot not showing anything and the commentator is saying there was deflection. :D :D while the other is saying where.

lol @ hospot!!

I never thought I'd say this but BCCI might be right about URDS' authenticity

Watching Rahat Ali bowl is like playing EA sports cricket on Playstation and bowling at a well set batsman on very hard setting and bowling with a medium pace bowler

what was that. Was the third umpire steve davis BLIND..... If hot spot showed nothing then why not give it.

terrible decision what a joke DRS has been poor in this match. How can the umpire not give it out if there's nothing on hotspot and why was this logic not applied in SA first innings.
