It looks like a spinner track. Which might suit Pak style. So i say win the toss bowl and go with 4 spinners u have in the side. And drop amir or shaheen, for shan masood or hussain talat as a extra batsmen. I think we can chase 230-240.

Pakistan should bat first put a score of 350+ and hopefully we can defend it :ma

Advantage SA no team has lost batting second on this ground for the last 4 matches.

Woah, Rizwan is set to bat at 4 after Babar...Good Move if done, won't mind Hafeez coming in at the death overs and playing his shots. He's at his best playing shots

Big Job for Imad, Shadab, Hafeez and Malik. Not every day top order going to respond they have so far.

Is Hasan Ali dropped or resting because they want to have a proper look at everyone before world cup?

Hasan Ali has to be a sure shot starter at the world cup! Usman Shinwaris 3 wicket over in the last game kind of pushes the issues with his bowling under the carpet . . I don't think he should be starting in the XI over Hasan Ali . . Hasan Ali and Shaheen should be the 2 pacers . . and the 3rd pacer should be a shoot out between shinwari, amir, junaid, et al.

Lets see how are batting fairs under pressure. Hopefully we can win a game batting 1st.

All games in series won by team chasing so far.

Hasan’s still the first choice fast bowler for the WC. They’re just trying to see who the other two next to him should be and Amir, Shinwari, and Shaheen are the main candidates.

Unless there is a dew factor, no reason why SAF should bowl first at Cape Town. This series has 4 chasing winners, therefore there has to be a batting first winner - big advantage for PAK. Only way SAF can gain an advantage is by knocking 2-3 in first 12 overs, including Babar. Anything over 250 should be tight for SAF and they have dropped Miller as well.

Pak batting first this is what I predict how the batting will go

Imam ul haq 12 runs

Fakhar 31 runs

Babar 53 runs

M. Rizwan 7 runs

Hafeez 88 runs

Malik 69 runs

Imad 45 runs not out

Shadab 14 not out

10 extras

Pak 328/6

Batting second has been the real advantage this series because pitches have played better in second half.
But lets hope Pak put up a good total and SA crack under pressure in a final

Brilliant talk at toss by shoaib. Want to give chance to the team, winning the 4th odi so to prepare for world cup. so, that may just be a signal from management that shoaib may continue depending upon todays' result

Showers around 5:30, so the game could be affected by rain and thus having cloudy skies
We have already lost a game because of showers. The wet ball doesnt swing seam or spin and is hard to grip.
Lets hope the rain stays away.
In any case i just want them to play good positive cricket and focus on the controllables

Good shape from Steyn. Lefties at the crease nullifying it to some extent.

Good start by Imam here.

280+ is minimum we will need at least here with the bat.

Strong batting for SA with three genuine all rounders in lower half. Pak will need to score big.

Why not SA all out for 49 in response?

Shame the decider couldn't have been on a weekend. Crowd looks sparse.

Having said that, SA is trying something out of the box. They rarely do this. Once they did with RJ Petreson batting at no.3

Intresting and out of the box thinking to start with tahir early on.

Shan should have played at 3. Now, it will be 3 or 4 out at 30

Where are the antics now Imam? Not sure if the guy is going to bottle it against India in the WC as well

Our batsmen have the technique of Suresh Rains but like to go for the pull shout as if they are Ricky Ponting.
