I know its a dead rubber but the pitch seems to be doing a fair bit

Amla doing well

Rossouw looks much better @4 which is where he bats for his franchise.
Perhaps in the absence of QDK SA should consider opening with Faf who opens in t20 anyhow and let AB come in at 3 and let Rossouw bat @4, he can also at @3 as well.

He is too inconsistent He is much better than 30 avg player

De Kock was inconsistent too in start of his career and Miller is still inconsistent. Russow is going to score his second ODI in hundred 14 odi matches not bad got a fifty too

Miller has been miss used, and the management have addressed this by having him bat at 5. Duminny is very good at 6 and does not take long to accelerate when the platform is set.

Miller has been very decent when given overs to settle.

You are right i think SA can have a very good to perfect batting line if they drop Behardeen but i think he is in the team because of his handy bowling.

Amla bhai is in sizzling form, watching the innings. Splendid batting, that six to Cottrell.

you missed the other 3 sixes i guess :P he can hit sixes but he don't do it often i have seen him hitting many in T20 tournament of SA

380 runs in this series for Amla, 2 50's and 2 100's at an average of 380 only dismissed once in the series.
And some of the pitches have been tough we should add.

I did, but this six wasn't typical Amla bhai which is why it was my favorite of the lot.

Should look for a 150 here, it will be amazing if he can eventually end up with an ODI average of 60. :amla

36.4
Holder to Rossouw, FOUR, goes down on a knee on off and paddles it fine down leg to just beat short fine leg for four. It was a catch for the fielder but he couldn't get there
Over the wicket now
36.3
Holder to Rossouw, SIX, middles it this time and gets six more, on the other side this time - over long on! Came down the track to take it on the full and smashed it down the ground
36.2
Holder to Rossouw, SIX, that's a full toss, don't think he has middled that but it goes all the way over long off! He wanted to smash it to leg and a top edge went straight down the ground all the way
36.1
Holder to Rossouw, FOUR, it's full and wide and Rossouw hammers it just wide of deep cover through the aerial route for a one-bounce four

The fact that Irfan nearly made Amla his bunny shows the quality of the big man.

South Africa might just pip Australia for WC favourites in my opinion, depending on how the bowling does today.

Glad to see South Africa in red hot form going into the wrod cup....all indications pointing to a unavoidable choke in the knock outs :steyn

I was impressed with how Rossouw picked up the length- really very good.
That is one of the things I look for in a batsman.
Russel bowled 1 at 147 back of a length and he deposited it into the stands.
You need talent to do that

:yk

Poor guys deserve atleast a semi-final spot this time around.

du Plessis has lost form at the wrong time, still backing him to come good at the World Cup.

Highest first and third wicket partnership for both these batsmen in this series alone. They make for a good partnership.

I think they scored same runs in this partnership like what happened in Wanderer 247?

it would have been another six .. Rillee just stopped his shot .. didnt complete the full swing .......

Rillee gone :P

And this isn't a flat track either. These two have just batted beautifully and have been helped by some ordinary bowling.

Maybe you should concentrate on your own team.
How are the preparations going?
I hope you're not losing to "presidential XI's" of this world.

I think Aus,Nz,WI(even though they are poor) and SA all have some dangerous cowlashers/hacks in the team....SC teams on the other hand depend on 1 or 2 or at the max 3 good players to deliver

We have a WC and were the semi-finalists of the last WC. Stop being butthurt.
